[D7 EE] Sole Survivor Battle Royale Tournament Spectators!

[Yoritomo Seika]

Hinata finally noticed the BSOD Yoritomo.

Seika is herded out of the battle royale arena, her facial expression the human equivalent of a computer terminal in need of a hard reset.

"Oh are you all right, Yoritomo-samaaa?"

He had heard a familar voice call hsi name though, and once he sit the speectator floor he went looking for a certain small mantis. Not that he knew what he was goign to say which was pretty obvious when he found here and proceeded to just stare.

"I..." Seika blinks, blankly. Blank blinking. Even someone less easily confused than Hinata might wonder what the heck is going on as she stares back at Jun. "You..."

Her heart is racing, but the language center of her brain can't seem to catch up.

She had managed some words so he could certainly manage some of them... Probably.

Running a hand through his hair it moved to rest at the back of his neck where he rubbed it for a moment before letting his hand drop. "Um.... Hi." He said at last. It wasn't particularly a stunnign statement, but his brain really wasn't spinning on all cylinders at the moment.

"I.... Uh...... Didn't know you were here."

HInata looked from Seika to Jun and back again.

"Oh you know each other?!?!??! Great, no need for introductions then!"

It was also very nice to have people his own height around. Talking to Yakumo-samaa was great and all, but he had to stare upwards all the time or he'd be having a conversation with her breasts.

"I..." Seika blinks, blankly. Blank blinking. Even someone less easily confused than Hinata might wonder what the heck is going on as she stares back at Jun. "You..."

"Oh yeah, you've both talked about New Kahuna and Naz-kun. I should have figured you were there at the same time."

He was appropriately blase of any undertones that may or may not be present.

"Oh that ronin appears to be doing well . . . I think. Can't quite see what she's doing . . ."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Ah, Jun-sama and Yoritomo-sama know each other? Such a small galaxy!" She giggled. The sweat seemed to be stopping for now.

"Oooooh, that manevuer is quite confusing. Is she....not sure I can tell what they are doing Asahina-sama. Whatever it is, it is possibly brilliant."

Hinata and Sakura were a bit of a life saver and their presence helped Jun from trying to do something inappropriate in public. "Yeah, it's a small galaxy." He agreed with his fellow firefly, though his eyes didn't leave Seika.

"But yeah... Almost a year." He shook his head and smirked. "Could if almost sworn its been longer."

Despite being slightly distracted by the goings on down in the gaming area, Hinata was not absolutely oblivious to what was going on up in the spectators box. He looked from Jun to Seika and back again and suddenly raised his eyebrows. He sidestepped and took Sakura by the arm.

"Hotaru-samaaaaa!! I need your help . . . putting my . . . " He kicked a shoe half off quickly. " . . my shoe right!!!!"

Despite being slightly distracted by the goings on down in the gaming area, Hinata was not absolutely oblivious to what was going on up in the spectators box. He looked from Jun to Seika and back again and suddenly raised his eyebrows. He sidestepped and took Sakura by the arm.

Sakura, who for about a span of 5 years was convinced her roommate was just her roommate, and a platonic ronin friend, took a bit longer to get the signal.

"Oh, sure Asahina-sama. It's right over there. How did it get there?"

"Feels like four times as long, right?" Seika's bold-painted lips curve up at the corners. "Or yesterday." Her eyes search over his face and body. "You look good. Not... not eaten by monsters on that planet of yours, or anything."

Jun smiled at that, a rare expression on his features. "Nah. I'm too chewy to get eaten by monsters. They'd just spit me back out again if they tried." It was well known that firefly weren't part of a monsters healthy diet after all.

"You're looking nice too." His eyes drifted to her lips, he'd always liked that dark lipstick she wore. "You been well? Not being sunk under all the work you got going?"

"Yeah, I believe that." She laughs, painted lips parting, though there's still a bit of tension around her eyes. "Who'd want to eat such a tough snack, right?"

Without really intending to, she drifts another step closer to Jun as Hinata leads Sakura away, as if local gravity is shifting with the decrease in objects nearby.

"I've been busy, sure. But when you're fancy and important, they let you take it all out on your underlings. I'm basically the worst."

"Nothing with any common sense." Jun replied with a soft chuckle, his hand reaching forward as Seika stepped a bit forward, though falling short of touching her as he closed it into a fist and tucked his arms behind his back.

"Oh, by my figure you're more then a few steps away from the Worst. I mean at the very least you don't have one of those haughty ojou-sama laughs." His eyes narrowed for a moment as he eyed Seika playfully. "Or have you been hiding something from me?"

"It's not hiding if you never asked." Although Seika's laugh at this is really more of a heady giggle than a genuine Ohohohoho--it's not a talent she ever truly mastered, unlike some of her cousins.

To keep her hands from obvious fidgeting, she tucks them into her pockets... where her right fingertips immediately encounter some loose coins to fuss with anyway, generating some faint muffled clinks.

"So, um." She takes a breath and says quickly, before she can lose her nerve, "How long are you staying? Here."

Jun snorted at that. "A good attempt, but I don't think I'd give that a passing grade for a Ojou-sama laugh." Jun replied his tone a bit teasing.

At her next question he fidgeted himself, shifting his weight from one foot to the other as he tried to leave his hands tucked behind his back. "Not too terribly long. A week more, maybe ten days." It wasn't much time at all considering he'd already wasted two days. "How about you? Here for any length of time?"

So a while yet, probably." She's uncomfortably aware that nothing could be less like the Hoshi Jun knew than swanning around a prominent Scorpion Winter Court. But, well, she's not Hoshi.

Part of the last year had been coming to terms with the fact that Seika was not in fact Hoshi, and while it did change some things others were different. "That sounds.... exciting." Exciting in the way being eaten by monsters was, not the normal fun kind. Or that might be what Seika could put together by the look on Jun's face.

"Still it gives us time to talk."

"If that's something you're interested in...."

"Yeah, it is exciting, but it's okay." Seika smirks, catching his meaning, and tosses his own brag back at him. "I'm too tough to chew up."

"Talk..." She takes her hand out of her pocket to tuck back a strand of hair that wasn't really out of place to begin with. "Yeah... I think so. We didn't really... last time..."

They'd left a lot of things unresolved then, more concerned with immersing themselves in the moment than making sense of what came after. And also with room service. Lots of room service.

"A second reason why you can't be The Worst." Jun replied with with a chuckle "If you were you'd be some sort of tender morsel just waiting to be eaten." That was probably a bit lewder then it could of been. No backing out now though.

"Yeah...... Talk." His arms finally came out from behind his back and he rubbed his jaw. "It's probably not as fun as...." He paused a moment "Pictionary." It was close enough to something they did. "But figure it would be good for both of us."

She wrinkles her nose in very-obviously-faked disdain... which she can't keep up long before laughing. "Or did you get too much planetary mud on your boots?"

The sparkle in her eyes suggests she might have other things to say if they weren't in a public place.
