[D2, LE] Tiger Robocop (Open)

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Glad we know which one I truly am." He says as he focuses both eyes to his nose looking funny.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Victorious?" Sumiko looked up at the man with a smirk "after all, they say the winner writes history and your coffee is being served right?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Paid by my Clan's most despicable opponent." The Crab raises and lowers his eyebrows and reinforces the adjective in a cartoonish way. "Feels good to be alive."

[Susumu Sumiko]

That made Sumiko chuckle.

"I thought boss number 2 was your most despicable opponent now?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

"True, but I wouldn't bring something personal to my Clan like this. Would be kind of selfish to me to get the entirety of the second army to defeat Tiger Robocop." He takes a deep breath and nods, "It is something one must face alone."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Your sacrifice will be remembered Kaiu-sama" Sumiko closed her eyes, offering a prayer to the man "never forget that in your hour of need I stood beside you."

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Once enemies, they become allies in the face of imminent destruction." He says, closing his eyes as well. Setsu downs his coffee and clacks the cup back on the counter. "Sour, indeed. Yet thrilling with righteous energy."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I've never been described as sour before but I'll accept it this once" Sumiko opened her eyes and picked up her milkshake, motioning to some nearby seats "shall we sit down, friend?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

He blinks and correct, "On no, not you. I mean the Clan's relationship, and well, this coffee. You're actually kind of sweet... for a Spider."

Setsu replies with action and sits where indicated.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I am? Kaiu-sama is too kind" Sumiko gave him a warm smile before taking a sip of her milkshake.

"Ah, that's nice! Mm...Oh, right, Kaiu-sama was going to tell me more about himself!" She looked at the man expectantly

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Was I?" He points to himself and shrugs, "Better to hear more about you and your plans here."

Well, he was honest enough.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"My plans?" Sumiko tilted her head "currently my plans involve this milkshake. I'm on this world for diplomatic purposes if that's what you mean, I imagine Kaiu-sama isn't here on vacation?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

"I am kind of on vacations, actually. If a Kaiu is ever on vacations, which is not the case for many of us." He mentions while he pays some attention to the ice cream. "My main job here is to oversee teams of engineers so they get shit done fast and in the quality we need. But then HR said I should cool off and gave me kind of a week to myself so I could meet and greet. Among other tasks."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"This is the second time in two days someone has mentioned engineering to me. I'm starting to wonder if it's a sign from the Fortunes to start venturing into this area" Sumiko laughed "it's not like I haven't been curious before, especially looking at some of the mining equipment our friends in the Firefly use. So Kaiu-samas team are ahead of schedule, and you've been blessed with time off in the World of Dreams? How very kind of them, and there is so much to see here as well. I almost envy you for having the time to see it all."

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Second time?" Setsu rubs his chin while asking rhetorically. "Well, perhaps you're built for it and never really knew. Let me test you out: Which one you like best, building sand castles, destroying sand castles or just watching people do it?"

He clears his throat, adding, "As for the team, we're not really ahead, ahead. I mean, there's a lot of progress and they needed me to chill out for a few days."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Building sandcastles of course! Why destroy them? They look great, even if just watching but I'd rather build than watch for sure. Maybe make a really big one, and dig around it so the water goes into it like a moat" Sumiko grinned "there's a beach here you know, maybe you could put your engineering knowledge in to build a huge sandcastle?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

"I enjoy watching them getting built, to be honest." He mentions with a sigh, "I just don't really like the sand..."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Why don't you like sand?" Sumiko tilted her head "it's so easily sculpt able. You can build anything with it, assuming the tide isn't coming in too quickly."

[Kaiu Setsu]

"My parents used to drag me into the beach when I was a kid. Sand would get sticky in my body due the humidity and the salt water. I never liked the feeling." He mentions with an unworried expression.

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Ah" Sumiko nodded in understanding "if you're faced with the stuff constantly I can imagine it being an unenjoyable experience. There isn't really beaches on Whispers, so I've never had that experience. I only visit the ones on other worlds and they've been quite fun. Maybe you could bring a blanket and sit on that while making your sandcastle?"
