Maybe this'll be answered when pre-game goes live, but I wanted to check on this if I wanted to get anything pre-written for pre-game.

If I'm reading it correctly, all pre-game threads go in the pre-game forum?
If yes, does that mean there will just essentially be one thread per time slot in that forum (Essentially location: at the festival), or will be ok designating where we are at on the world to obey the one timeslot/location rule.

ie. should it be like this:

Pregame Forum:

(D0, EM) At the festival with everyone else doing pre-game in the EM

OR

Pregame Forum:

(D0, LE, New Grove) Me and my shadow

I can confirm that it will be a pregame forum and very likely in this format (outside of last-minute decisions).

You're assumed to be in the general vicinity of the festivals taking place in the street. It's a large enough area where nobody needs to be together but can mosey over from conversation to conversation if they wish. You're given two slots and...anywhere from Early Morning to Midnight (11 slots in all). No time slot can have a duplication.

I know it might be tempting to show off your character's dancing or debating skills during this event but no rolling will be allowed. Please hold off from rolling and use your narrative judgment.

Basically what Boogie said. One thread per timeslot, two slots per player. It's meant to easy you in, not to get heavy roleplay done.

Yes. This is why there are no events on D1.

Basically, ask for target / faction in your PF - we give you location / target building / name - then you make rolls so that each phase of the Heist makes a one post.

Is there a limit to how many targets a ronin can have open/in progress at one time? I know there's a practical limit with time slots and when the actual heists can be done, but is it possible to have done surveillance on multiple locations before actually doing a heist on any of them?

Understood. If we're approached by a clan or clans in a session where we already have a target, do we need to drop that target to work on theirs or can we keep it off to the side while doing the clan job and return to it in the next session?

Then you promise them to put the work in the next session. Basic mathematics here, really. If you start doing your rolls for a heist and then drop it and then start another heist, this is not one heist per session, is it?

As it stands, there will be no daily court. The daily/side events...starting Day 2 will serve as our mixer social events.

It's also the future. Consider teleconferencing...or the club!

If a Clan-Samurai would pay for a Hotel for a Ronin, with his own Koku, would that be tracked, or considered as "paying" Ronin?

I mean, if they then get caught doing a heist - you might get targeted. So yes, yes you can. Whether you want is a different story.

Since there are a few game rules involving Lore:Underworld rolls, I thought this might be relevant enough to ask for everyone:

Lore: Underworld "is considered a low skill." Is it universally dishonorable to use (e.g. for gathering information in the bad part of town or getting in to the Desolation), or is it one of those low skills for which honor loss is more situational?

Does Crafty (roll unskilled Low Skill checks as if you had one skill rank) encompass it?

There is indeed a dining room! No self-respecting hotel would operate without its own in-house restaurant!
