"There you are, buddy," he greeted with a small, rare smile.

There was nothing buy warmth in his expression as he looked between the Crane and the Cat. Then he gave a small, playful grin. "Better be extra careful if he is. Cranes are a type of bird."
"Garbo. Like garbage, probably," He replied, glancing at the other cats. "I know a couple of the others are named, 'Ugly' and 'Mold'."
Hinata turned and watched the poor Unicorn suffer cat rejection.Ide Yamako wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 6:30 pmYamako hadn’t been able to restrain herself once she learned of the cat cafe. The difficulty would be in not making a spectacle of herself. She just…couldn’t quite control herself around fuzzy creatures.
“Hello, hi, please can I pet the cats, ok thanks!” She throws some money down on the counter, obviously desperate and picks up the first cat she sees, holding it tightly to her. However, this does not go terribly well.
“Why won’t you let me love you?” She says rather loudly as the cat escapes.
"It's not necessarily their fault. It's all to avoid the wrath of Daikoku, from my understanding, since cats hunt rats," he replied. And Daikoku is an asshole.Asahina Hinata wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 7:09 pmHinata's eyes go wide . . .well wider.
"Oh how can they give such a cutey such a horrible name? So cruel."

"Oh not like that. I used to do that Unicorn-sama. After the twentieth time I got clawed I learnt I had to wait for them to come to me. Like . . . Garbo here."
He was obviously still quite upset at the name.

Inasa smiled toward the Unicorn and wiggled the cat toy for emphasis. "For the quieter ones, you can get down to their level and just hold your hand out and still. Eventually they'll come smell you, and they might rub against you on their own."
"Fair. Plushies are nice," he agreed. After a moment, he admitted, "Having a cat while traveling as much as I do wouldn't be fair to it, so I have a couple of cat plushes at home to make up for it."
"Awww the fierce hunter wins. Don't worry, Ide-sama! Kitties remember who plays with them. Next time he'll be waiting for you to bring him something to chew!"Ide Yamako wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 8:29 pmGritting her teeth, Yamako attempted to entice Garbo closer while also not being dragged off her feet. He was a crafty foe however and took much of her concentration.
“I…just…want…to pet you!” She exclaims as the rod is finally pulled from her hands and Garbo drags it off to a corner to ‘kill it’.
Turning back to the crew, she flops into a nearby chair with a sigh. “One day…one day I will make it work. But clearly, not today.”
