Lemme look at the cast:

There's Susumu Yakumo, Asahina Hinata, and my Yogo Tamiyo as proper professional pop acts. There's also Bayushi Ryuhei representing the metal scene and Kitsune Kiyoshi, who is an actor in a show about a band, I think? And because Tamiyo is such a broad-minded individual she would totally count Hato, the karaoke ronin as well.

Yup, Banner 4 is obviously the musical episode!

The Mystery Five and the Detective is a variation of the Scooby-Doo/Josie and the Pussycats formula in live action. Kiyoshi does sing and perform, but he's probably better known for the show.
