[D6 ME] The Concert

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Sakura nodded eagerly. "I must confess...I would have probably been a similar fan a week ago." She looked away shyly...and managed to step on his tome.

"Gomenasai!"

Oh no, not again.

He laughed lightly. "It's alright. We all take missteps from time to time. But, I could teach you a little, if you'd like."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"I doubt it Kitsune-sama, but I would gladly take it." Just then it seemed that Hinata was done with his second act. So cool!

"To begin with, relax and have fun." he said between songs. "Don't be concerned about me or anyone else. I can take a bruise or two. I'll be fine. Just enjoy yourself."

[Susumu Yakumo]

"I am so thankful to be performing for you tonight!" She waved and smiled to the audience. "Let's enjoy another song together, one I know you have all enjoyed a lot this past year."

"Let's become synthetic~," she sung just that one line, and for the fans it was recognizable as the song Forbidden Elixir, which had had a pretty popular music video since the release of her album (mostly because it had featured Yakumo playing the role of both a bride and groom).

Sensual yet poppy music began to play, and Yakumo brought the microphone up again. Some of the lights on the stage adding in pinks and reds, while it seemed like butterflies were flying around during the performance.

[Bayushi Mariko]

Rei likewise, clapped at Hinata's appearance, smiling as he did so. He had a soft spot for the performer, after all.

"Mmm..." Rei lacked a fan, so he had to brush a hand across his face instead. "I'll try anything once." He murmured quietly to her, leaning a bit closer for a brief moment.

But only for a moment; Rei understood propriety, after all. "But a private retreat, yes. I think that might be exactly what would be called for. If my fortunes should be such that it comes to that, of course." He very much hoped that they would

The server came up, holding an electronic pad. "Barley shochu, two cubes." He glanced at Mariko, eyebrows going up. "Green-tea cocktail?" He ventured a guess.

"Ooh..." Mariko murmured in surprising realization with a grin that broke her cool features as she looked up at him with a mischievous glint in her eyes. She tittered under her breath as she swayed subtly to the music in the background. If she could reach over to pinch his cheeks without any recourse, she would. "You're so adventurous!"

"Well, depends on the retreat. Hopefully, they won't send you to one of the many temples here for any bad habits you need to be purged of. An upstanding member of the Minor Clan Alliance wouldn't have any of that." She gave him a slight nose scrunch at the tease.

"I'll take a barley shochu too, actually," she nodded at the request.

[Matsu Eriko]

“Well, maybe I need to stop being so worried about accidentally making you unhappy if you’re gonna be so obvious when you’re displeased.” Hide couldn’t help but chuckle at the mental image of needing to physically drag Eriko somewhere.

She then glanced over to the bar and back to her wife before standing to her feet. “Well, save my seat while I get us some drinks, then. I remember what it looks like so I can describe it to the bartender. Shouldn’t be too long.”

And true to her word, she was gone only a few minutes. In hand, she had two mint green drinks that definitely had some mint flavoring to them. The smell gave it away as she set one drink down in front of Eriko. “Apparently it’s got a slight sweetness to it, according to the bartender.”

"Not to worry, they're going to need to drag me out to give up these awesome seats." She chuckled before making good on that promise as she reserved her wife's seat.

When Hide returned, Eriko was clapping along to the next offering from Yakumo. Wasn't that one with the very trippy video? She couldn't quite recall. She would scoot back to her side of the two chairs so that Hide could retake her seat.

"Oh, nice! I'm always game for sweetness," she said to Hide as she happily took the offered drink. "We got a toast or something you want to do? You're typically good at those. Maybe something with luck? Something for the future, you know."

"Hey, hold on! Isn't that Akodo-sama other there?" She delay the toast for a moment as she pointed out Reki among the crowds. "And she still has the cat ears on!"

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi Appeared this time in a much more normal outfit for them dressed in black pants and shirt with a leather jacket on top of it. Though this time they walked passed the DJ table and Kazumi approached the mic at the front of the stage "So, we have a bit of a night of firsts here, first time hearing some of Yakumo-sama's new music, First time hearing Hinata-sama performing solo and Now First time I have ever sang for a live audience. I hope you all like it!"

and with that the band starts with something a bit heavier than the other offerings tonight and then Kazumi came in and that one of a kind voice sang for the first time on stage.

Eriko blinked at the question, thinking it was such an obvious necessary inclusion. "Well, yeah, of course! We were shot at not too recently. Mostly me, but yeah that stands. I think that's permission to make everything a special occasion until we get to the bottom of it. Okay, continued wellness. I like it! I was sore but alive, so I consider that a break-even all things considered."

She gave her a wink with a smirk. "Nothing to be embarrassed about, come on. Yes, to us being together and staying together! Kampai!"

Before taking that customary gulp after, she would give a resounding clink to Hide's glass, as hard as she could without jostling the drink too much and causing an accident.

Rei smirked, his pale eyes glinting at her in the dim light of the club. In truth, it was as exciting to have won a reaction out of her, a little surprise of his own, as anything else. "Like I keep saying," he murmured softly, only just above the sound of the music. "I'm a Hare. I always keep a little something in reserve."

He attempted to smile innocently. He was pretty bad at it. "Well... who among us is perfect?" He teased back. "But I was thinking more along the lines of a nice suite somewhere. Maybe one of the island hotels. As I understand, ocean air does wonders for one's vigor."

The server took the order without comment, bowing and retreating. Rei, on the other hand, looked at her with smile and raised eyebrow. "Barley shochu." He said. "Is that also a favorite of yours as well, or are you just trying something new, Bayushi-san?"

“Kampai!” Hide met Eriko’s glass with her own, wide smile on her face. “Yeah, staying together. So glad to be here with you instead of inside some ship. Last time I was planet-bound for this long was… The miai. Damn.”

Hide leaned back in her seat, taking a sip from her drink as she watched Eriko. “It’s so nice to see you so happy. Even with the whole thing yesterday.”

"I am a shugenja, and you will not find a Crab whom does not respect the opinion of a Kuni Shugenja on some important matters," she says, but gives that lead of the tone at the end that suggest this would be all she would say on that topic. Covering that, and making sure it was noticed, by pausing for a drink at that moment as well. As Hinata joined the stage again Koyuki lingers a thought toward it for a moment, curious about the little scamp, but ultimately turns more of her attention toward Tsuyo.

"My source seems to suggest as much," she says, that hidden little smirk. "Much as I may be loathe to admit it, she is a rather extraordinary example coming from the Spider. Though that is the distinction, we are not all made entirely of the decisions of our betters. Some are better.." she says, staring down at her glass. One prime example, the one that proves the opposite true, is that some were also worse. Wearing that darker expression for a moment, the encouragement of the energy in the room wipes it away near as soon as it arrived.

There's a smirk and small huff of humor. "Your source? Well, I guess Crab intelligence'd keep an eye on such a prominent Spider." More thoughtfully, she adds..."better? Hmm, well she's got Imperial backin' and is just...well, music's a better side of the clan all-n-all." The Firefly would no doubt sell ore to the Spider, under Imperial guidance, but that didn't much change her impression of the clan as a whole.

The solo member of Usagi Drop does get a glance as he sings, though ultimately Tsuyo's never been all that interested in that brand of pop. Kazumi's set though catches her attention for a long moment before she drags her attention back. "Sorry, Kuni-san." She gestures to the stage. "Been a lot of talk about...well they've not been on stage singin' before. Haven't quite gone native, but a year's time enough to get some interest in the local happenings," she offers with an apologetic smile. "Interesting composition."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Sakura let out a breath. "Perhaps with another round of drinks? I am probably overthinking this. "What would Kitsune-sama like to drink?"

"That's a good idea." he nodded. "Just a beer."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"That's a good idea." he nodded. "Just a beer."

Sakura nodded briskly, and stepped away to the bar, grabbing a local beer and some sweet cocktail for herself. She swished back, avoiding the crowd, trying not to spill things.

"Here you go Kitsune-sama. Hope you like it."

[Miya Nishida]

Nishida was there. He was not particularly enthusiastic, but he did not want to miss this unique event. To his displeasure came that besides the Boom Boom music also a huge crowd of people was here and he got despite his status no separate area.

At least the sake was passable.

He wove his way through the crowd until, inevitably, he brushed against another samurai and his glasses went off, "Damn, I shouldn't have left Akechi at home!" he grumbled, "Excuse me" he shouted over the loud music, "Could someone help me with my glasses?"

Without them, Nishida was blind as a fish. "Anyone, hello?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Here you go Kitsune-sama. Hope you like it."

"Thank you, Hotaru-san." he smiled as he took the beer. "For the drink and the dance. We've discussed a number of my interests. But, I'm hoping you might tell me more about yourself."

[Susumu Yakumo]

With great enthusiasm, already lifting the euphoric mood of the room installed by Yakumo's almost supernatural voice, the final number began with high energy featuring all three performers together!
