[D6 LE, OPEN] Oshidama Victory Party

[Yoritomo Seika]

Tsuyo laughs. "Haven't had a corporate commission yet, that would be new."

"Well, hmm... not my department, but you never know. Maybe I can float the idea." Seika grins.

She greets Mariko and Hinata... but can't quite get a word in edgewise after that as Sakura bursts into a fit of fangirling, so just smiles and drinks her beer.

Jun had heard about the Mantis party from Sakura earlier in the day, and with little else to do with his evening after the concert he decided to attend. He came dressed for the occasion, though it was perhaps lucky for him that the people in the store he visited could make suggestions. He'd been told he should dress better on occasion, but lhe wasn't very good at it.

Things had just gotten started it seemed liek when he arrived, and before joinign conversation he made hs way towards the bar. Might as well get a drink before he tried to mingle. Right?

She almost thinks she spots a familiar back heading for the refreshments. Meeting all these Firefly at once is obviously messing with her head. Pull it together, Hoshi, you've got a party to host.

[Susumu Yakumo]

Ok a party, but whyyyy did the dresscode have to be swimwear? Swimwear always provided the worst challenges because then she couldn't get away with covering up as much as she preferred.

So she opted for a cute swimdress with a casual floral-patterned wrap-around sheer yukata for modesty. Still she couldn't go without gloves, even if she did opt for those who showed as much of the hand as possible, as long as her fingers were covered. Thankfully footwear was still a thing.

There was also that Yakumo didn't really feel like going to a party, as she wanted to relax after a hectic concert, but... Mantis putting on a show meant that the Spider should be there. And so there she was.

[Kuni Koyuki]

Taking the moment to not so discreetly give her a look over, but that was hardly uncommon of Koyuki for anyone. Though the reasoning was certainly at odds with her typical reasoning. Wearing a soft smile she offers one of the drinks in hand.

"Congratulations on the performance. You have earned quite the reputation for yourself," she says, in that casual tone which betrays little familiarity and is only broken by the way Koyuki looks at her.

With a laugh the singer brought the drink up to her painted lips for a sip.

She was putting on a good show of bubbly energy, but Koyuki could have a good hunch that it was an act. Endurance wasn't a word most would use for Yakumo, and she had just put on a concert.

[Asahina Hinata]

This was a party. There was a jacuzzi. Why was no one already in said jacuzzi? Hinata was puzzled, but then he came upon the answer.

Grab beer. Check.

Jump in jacuzzi. Check.

SPLASH!!

Much better. He surfaced, and then opened his beer and took a swig. Somewhere, somehow a god/goddess/being of luck was looking at it's dice and wondering how it had rolled 13 on two d6 . . .

"Kuni-san, good evening," she said after she turned and saw who it was. Or rather, confirmed who it was, as she did recognize that voice fairly easily.

"Strange. I don't remember hearing anything negative like that about you," she lies excellently. A brief smile, "Must not have been that important," she says. Taking a sip of her drink she looks to Yakumo over the rim of the glass. Hatching quite the devilish plan in her mind, and one with a certain nefarious ending for the idol singer.

"Would you be kind enough to join me for a bit, Susumu-sama? I do not get the chance often to bend the ear of someone as well known, and talented, as yourself. Maybe you could join me in the jacuzzi," she glances off in it's direction, one of the rounding 'corners' of the oval not yet taken up, "or maybe by one of the loungers?" and she shifts her gaze that way. A few loungers that seemed to have a couple of pillows to each, not the comfiest looking pillows but they were certainly there.

[Dai]

Friends, very old and very new, were celebrating so the party also featured one very out of place wall-flower of a ronin. Dai was dressed in street clothes, although his nicest clothes, as he did not posses beachwear.

Valuing his wits, and avoiding potential altercations with drunk clan samurai, he was nursing a beer while doing his best to stay out of people's way.

[Bayushi Mariko]

Mariko was sure to take a moment to return the greeting given by both Sakura and the influential Seika, perhaps only a second's acknowledgement to Rei. She would take a few sips of her beer as she lingered about and moved casually to the music that was playing. Her attention did snap to the Crane jumping into the water.

Eh, screw it. She didn't come to a jacuzzi party to not get in the jacuzzi. It wasn't a dry party anyway. Putting down her half-empty bottle, she would excuse herself to get out of her beach dress and into the swimsuit from said oshidama tournament.

She would snag another bottle once she was dressed, this time a cooler that was more of the cocktail variety than the beer sort. Without hesitation, she got into the jaccuzi next.

Splash!

[Soshi Kioku]

With Sakura as one of the winners and the excitement - both for the next day, and from the Concert - still running high in her mind, Kioku actually decided to make her way to the party as well.

She had a bourdeaux-coloured Yukata with Scorpion and Soshi mons interspersed with other motives over a swimming suit with strings making a design, barely visible at the start of her shoulder, but which should continue to her back, reminiscent of a leaf - the same one she had worn during the Oshidama Tournament, in fact.

She found her way to some beer, then to an Oshidama ball which she kept fidgetting with. As one of the stars of the party, Sakura herself was sure to be surrounded by people, so for now she kept to herself, observing those around - and open to talk or to play some mock game of sorts with the ball if there was space enough for it.

[Hotaru Jun]

With drink in hand, Jun finally turned back towards the actual party in time to see a pair jump in the Jacuzzi. Staring at it for a moment he smirked slightly and shook his head. It seemed like something something Seika might like, and if it wasn't a party he might have opened up his densai and snapped a picture to send her way.

Instead he stripped off his shirt and tossed it on a convient beach chair as he made his way over and stepped into the water, giving the other occupants of the pool a nod in greeting. "Evening."

[Bayushi Mariko]

After getting into the jacuzzi, Mariko wasn't so sure if this part of the plan was ??? or the profit. She would wade a little before she could find herself a good comfortable seat where she could get a comfortable soak with the jets to massage her back. This was all while balancing the open bottle she was holding, it was a good waste of alcohol and jacuzzi if either were to meet each other.

She looked at Jun and Hinata. "Good evening, acquaintances or long-time friends of Yoritomo-sama or Hotaru-san?" The question was merely meant to be polite, than actually dig into any existing relationships that may or may not with their current host.

[Hotaru Jun]

"I'm a clanmate to Hotaru-san." Jun offered in reply before sipping his beer. He knew a few Yoritomo, but we was fairly certain the host wasn't one of them. "Name's Hotaru Jun,." He thought he recognized the other person from the concert earlier, but it was hard to tell. He hadn't had the greatest view, and swimsuits made people look different.

Well, clothes in general did if he was honest.

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura smirked as everyone wemt to the jacuzzi. She glanced at the bar, stepped away, and brought a tray of Mantis shots, towards the gathered, offerikg one to Tsuyo along the way.

"Minnasama, care for something stronger?"

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi was somewhat fashionably late and the last of the performers to arrive. They wished they could say this was some calculated move but it was more just from having to run home, change and come to the venue.

Kazumi sported a sheer red look with black swim wear underneath. The thin garment over top cinched in the middle showing off Kazumi's slender waist and the performer looked almost delicate in the more revealing outfit, though a sharp eye would still noticed while Kazumi moved the muscles when visible were like whipcord slender but powerful.

Kazumi wandered for a bit nodding to familiar faces and waving to new friends ultimately ending up at the bar grabbing a drink and still riding the high from a great show.

[Asahina Hinata]

She looked at Jun and Hinata. "Good evening, acquaintances or long-time friends of Yoritomo-sama or Hotaru-san?" The question was merely meant to be polite, than actually dig into any existing relationships that may or may not with their current host.

"Oh I only met them a few days ago, Hotaru-samaa while shopping and she's a fan of my group, and Yoritomo-samaaa when they beat Yakumo-samaa and me at the oshidama!!"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

After taking the Detective back to the embassy and putting him to bed, which required a lot of debate and a little bribery, Kiyoshi finally arrived at the party. He immediately got a drink and began looking around, reedy for some fun.

[Kaiu Setsu]

This is definitely not Setsu's main environment. But what the Jigok, the day has been great, and he paid for some of those beers since he lost at the Oshidama, so why not drink. He appears without his usual suit, but maintaining the same level of Crab-neutrality with his beachwear that can be confused with a pijama, if one doesn't know about Crab fashion. So trendy.

Once he sees water, of course, instincts kick in, and the Kaiu shows how real bombardment is done as he splashes in.

If you happen to be nearby, collateral damage might have occurred. In this case, the Crab would notice and, well, perhaps apologize?

Rising up from the depths of the pool like in a toothpaste commercial, Setsu combs his hair back and looks at the camera a bit curious with the commotion there. Turns out is not a camera, but drenched wet Mariko.

Her warcry, though, brought some eerie past lives memories. Swalling dry, since everything else seems the exact opposite, Setsu has a serious conversion with himself in his mind before just staring at the whole scene without knowing really what to say besides,

"Fuck my life."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Then came a torrent of water which had her jerk her arm and lost grip of her bottle, sending it clattering on the ground just as Sakura was approaching with the shots. Getting splashed by hot jacuzzi water was not something she was pleased with. It was there she managed to dig out that deep scrowl from her mother's side of the family. "Urggghgle!"

And so, a bottle landed beneath Kiyoshi's foot as he took a step. An awkward tumble and another splash followed a moment later.
