[D5 LA] Side Event: Final Fight Tournament (RP)

[Usagi Rei]

Kazumi gave him an amused look "Oh you know maybe watching some Starlight Miko Crusaders, some animated shows, maybe doing a little cosplay." The light laugh was almost a giggle "there are some characters you'd do great as."

"Oh yes, the concert should be amazing. Rehearsal with Susumu-sama and Asahina-sama went smoothly yesterday should be a very good concert with a few surprises." They said with a wink.

"Hmmm..." Rei said, one finger tapping thoughtfully on his jaw. "Starlight Miko Crusaders... that's the one with all the magical women with the short skirts?" His eyebrows went up, just a little. "I might be interested in learning more. What character would be a good fit for me?"

The wink made Rei smirk, activating his naturally flirty side. "Surprises, huh? How interesting. Consider me intrigued, Soshi-san." His tone was lightly playful. Tilting his head, Rei looked at Kazumi. "I don't suppose you can give me any hints? Or a little preview?"

[Soshi Kazumi]

"Hmmm..." Rei said, one finger tapping thoughtfully on his jaw. "Starlight Miko Crusaders... that's the one with all the magical women with the short skirts?" His eyebrows went up, just a little. "I might be interested in learning more. What character would be a good fit for me?"

The wink made Rei smirk, activating his naturally flirty side. "Surprises, huh? How interesting. Consider me intrigued, Soshi-san." His tone was lightly playful. Tilting his head, Rei looked at Kazumi. "I don't suppose you can give me any hints? Or a little preview?"

Kazumi thought a little "hmmm youd make a marvelous Seppun Rokusaburo. Handsome masked man that assists the Crusaders from time to time." The Scorpion gave the man an appraising look and nodded "people would likely go wild over it if the costume was good enough."

At the request Rei would recieve a look that was equal parts mischievous and playful as well "Well let's just say it'll be a once in a life time experience." Kazumi was also more than a little bit of a flirt.

"Ooh." Rei grinned. "Well, I was already definitely going to be there. But now you're going to have me wondering about that all day and all night. For shame, Soshi-san." Rei teased.

"Hmmm..." Rei's eyes narrowed thoughtfully, even as he smiled. "I like the sound of that. I do happen to have a mask. Perhaps I'll take a look at it, the next time whatever you call it con is on." He knew he could handle the handsome part...

"Ooh." Rei grinned. "Well, I was already definitely going to be there. But now you're going to have me wondering about that all day and all night. For shame, Soshi-san." Rei teased.

Kazumi quirked one eyebrow "Oh? Well to be completely honest I'm a little upset I wasn't already keeping you up at night Usagi-san." They teased back "might have to change that."

Kazumi shifted back to more current topics rather than teasing possibilities "So how did your matches go Usagi-san? I saw a Firefly won the tournament but how did you fair?"

[Usagi Rei]

Kazumi quirked one eyebrow "Oh? Well to be completely honest I'm a little upset I wasn't already keeping you up at night Usagi-san." They teased back "might have to change that."

Kazumi shifted back to more current topics rather than teasing possibilities "So how did your matches go Usagi-san? I saw a Firefly won the tournament but how did you fair?"

Rei laughed at that, entertained to meet someone who was his flirting match. "Perhaps we will, Soshi-san." He didn't wink, but the way his eyelid twitched was definitely the suggestion of one.

Ruefully, Rei chuckled. "Poorly. This was actually my first time playing. I gave the rules a quick once-over, but it was a lot more complicated than I expected. Apparently I lost?" Smiling, Rei spread his hands. "I couldn't explain to you how or why."

[Soshi Kazumi]

Rei laughed at that, entertained to meet someone who was his flirting match. "Perhaps we will, Soshi-san." He didn't wink, but the way his eyelid twitched was definitely the suggestion of one.

Ruefully, Rei chuckled. "Poorly. This was actually my first time playing. I gave the rules a quick once-over, but it was a lot more complicated than I expected. Apparently I lost?" Smiling, Rei spread his hands. "I couldn't explain to you how or why."

Kazumi's eyes sparkled with amuesment and perhaps something else at Rei's comment but they left it there for now.

Kazumi did however chuckle at the next part "Well yes, it is a pretty complicated game to the uninitiated. Many who think of it as a card game for kids are surprised by that. I'm no expert but I play a few rounds of the digital version to pass time here and there. If I hadn't needed to go in to deal with a work issue I would have been one of your potiential opponents."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Thank you, Bayushi-san. I will put forth my best effort, to see if we face off. If not... perhaps we arrange a match on our own." He saw the way she looked at Sumiko, and he offered a bow to his kin, before returning to Senshuken.

"And thank you, as well, for the advice. I've heard, but never seen, the bearjimbo finisher. Hopefully that continues today."

"Yes, we should definitely arrange a friendly match." She agrees readily. "A championship for the ultimately deadliest insenct, perhaps? We will need a Mantis and a Firefly." She pauses for a moment. "Or not. There is a limit in how many bears and pirates a courtier can deal with without getting a headache."

He shrugged. "Really, I should have done my homework. But, well, I actually just won the deck at the arcade yesterday, and Winter Court has been rather busy, after all. Perhaps I'll be ready for next year's tournament."

Kuni Sumie

Sumie crossed her arms and tapped her foot as she watched out the finals play out. Ultimately, she wasn't too pleased with the results of the final game. Seeing the winner just made her even more furious. "REALLY? Bears and squirrels?! That's the meta deck to beat now? I don't believe this!"

She threw up her arms in frustration. Now she needed to get a playset of every bear and squirrel. Maybe even the ferrets and pandas too. This game was going in the gutter. Maybe she should just stick with RPGs.

"Lame!" She called out to no one in particular and stormed off to do something less frustrating.
