(D2, MN) Last Call

The Golden Web was a tiny little bar near the Shadeworks Combine Headquarters. During the day it catered to tourists as there were a few who thought themselves daring to drink at an authentic Spider Bar. All the black paint, the dark woods, the web themes, and the 'exotic' drinks (which were normal drinks dyed a deep red, given an overly dramatic name, and marked up 50%), showed just how brave and bold they were to drink with the Spiders.

But if you REALLY wanted to drink with the Spiders, you had to come later in the evening. Perhaps it was only fun to pretend to drink with the Spiders in broad daylight (not that you could see much daylight in the bar), but in the evening the crowd shifted to workers getting off work from Shadeworks to get their drink on before stumbling off home. There was an employee discount, much more traditional drinks, and a small karoke machine atop a small elevated platform that had dreams of being a stage.

At the microphone at this particular moment, a rather portly Shadeworks employee with his tie officially loosened into 'fun' mode was butchering a Susumu Yakumo song.

'Created from inside me.

Last call was coming up, it made the bar busy, a bit too busy to notice the ronin among all the other ronin who actually worked for the Spider that she wasn't actually getting her drink on.

Her interest was more training on the patrons, trying gather a little intel on who belonged where in Shadeworks
