"Nice that you've got an apartment nearby" Sumiko smiled "that way it still feels like home, right? I've not been back to my home for about five months, duties taking me away from Whispers. Not that I mind, being able to see more of the universe is quite exciting!"

She laughed at the impression.

"Senshu-chan comes from a very prestigious line then? My parents aren't quite as bad, although I can trace my family back for quite a few generations I don't believe we've ever done anything noteworthy, nor am I sure my parents are too concerned with the past. They've always looked forward, so plenty of expectations on me to do better than they did. I'm the one more interested in looking back in our family. You're more than just a pretty girl on a bike too" she winked "you're an investigator as well!"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Yes, Senshu chan, the pretty girl on the bike, the great, great, add a myriad more 'great' here, grand daughter of Bayushi Shoju shiryo is also an investigator on verge of making a very important discovery!" She laughs and shakes her head playfully. "And she also invites you to feel like home at her place whenever you want. After the customary phone call first." She adds with a wink and gently bumps Sumiko's shoulder with her own. Then she slowly turns her head to look at Spider straight into the eyes.

"I have already offered myself, with the literal meaning of the word self, for the most thorough search of clues. Will you investigate me, Sumi chan?"

[Susumu Sumiko]

"That...would be a very large amount of greats" Sumiko said with a chuckle "and I'll have to get your contact details so I can call ahead. I'm not one to barge into a place uninvited, don't worry."

As Senshuken turned her gaze to look into Sumikos eyes she tilted her head, her eyes not leaving Senshukens, and a smile grew.

"Something this vital to the investigation should be very thoroughly searched Senshu-chan. I'd be more than happy to do so, although this may not be the best place to do so."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

The Bayushi leans a tiny bit closer, just enough so that her nose slighyly touches Sumiko's and then draws away into a relaxed pose leaning against her elbows. "True enough. I can wait for a more suitable place if you can." She beams a broad smile. "I believe that you were telling me about your home. What is Whispers like?"

There was a smirk on the girls face as Senshuken leaned close, but she didn't move an inch. When the girl moved back though, she chuckled and nodded.

"I have a suspicion I may know the Fortune, but that is for another time" she slips her jacket off, feeling quite warm at this point, which would mean Senshuken would see the art on her left arm:

On her wrist, there is a beautiful piece of art – two rings round her left wrist, with small Spiders linking them all round her arm as well as Jade, tattooed into her arm.

"I can wait, I'm very patient" she scooped up a little more of the strawberry ice cream before speaking again.

"Whispers is a very interesting world. It doesn't revolve at all, so only one half of the plant is liveable as the other is permanently exposed to sunlight, but we just use that to power the rest of the planet. It's quite ingenious really, but it means the planet is mostly farms and factories with only small cities for the Susumu. Not many visit though because of that, so some of my kin who never leave the planet will rarely meet anyone outside the Spider, except for Mantis and Unicorn really as they have embassies on the planet. I have to admit I was glad to be able to leave for diplomatic missions, as there are so many sights in the universe."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Ah, yes, sightseeing is a noble endeavor." She only comments. "May I?" She asks and points towards the other girl's arm, but she doesn't really wait for an answer and she touches the tattoo with her index, tracing it gently through the lines of the pattern. "It's magnificent and suits you rather well, Sumi chan. May I ask how you came up with the design? Does it have a special meaning for you?"

Sumiko didn't react when her hand was touched, other than to move it slightly so Senshuken could see the design better.

"Well, there is an expectation still for me and my kin to wear Jade, so why not turn that into an opportunity? I came up with the design myself, and one of my kin performed the tattooing including adding the Jade. I got the inspiration from looking at little spiders making a web outside my parents home. It reminded me that even when people are untrusted, or unwanted, they can still find union and kinship among friends."

Quite a few moments are spent in silence while Senshuken ponders on that last statement. "Do you feel lonely?" She finally asks. "You mentioned being away from your family and friends for months now and they seem important to you."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Lonely?"

Sumiko considered that for a few moments, before a smile and a shake of the head.

"While being away from my family and friends has been difficult, I've gained so much in doing so. Visiting other planets, other clans. The famous Tower of Storms on New Kalani, the brilliant machinery employed by the Firefly. Everything in the World of Dreams. As for friends?"

She reached out and poked Senshuken on the cheek, with a grin.

"I have important people here too, even ones I've met only a day ago have already shown themselves to be so. Thank you for your concerns Senshu-chan, but I assure you I'm very happy and excited to be visiting other places. It's an adventure, and as someone who wants to explore the unknown it's exciting."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Just be careful of the Scorpion. They are sneaky, I hear." She winks playfully and takes a spoonful of the chocolate ice cream.

"Are there any places in the city that you would like to visit? Besides my bedroom." She jokes and sticks her tongue out playfully. "Perhaps I could accompany you."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"It's ok, I can't swim so I won't be going in the water" Sumiko teased back with a chuckle, moving to take a spoonful of the strawberry ice cream as Senshu claimed the chocolate.

"Hmm, well I've partially ticked one off now with the Fortunes bringing me to meet you here" she winked "however the Sanctuary is very appealing to me. I intended to go visit in a few days time. I haven't really explored the night life here yet, just visited the sake house, so there is that as well. Is there anywhere else you recommend Senshu-chan?"

Sumiko thought about mentioning the Desolation but dismissed that notion. Far too dangerous to mention to a Scorpion.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Oh! Did you go to the Golden Frog? I do hope you sampled as many of the cocktails as you could. They are truly marvelous!"

"Nightlife, heh?! You asked just the right person, my Lady!" She exclaims. "You definitely have to visit the Wicked Wasp. It's the hottest club for quite some time now and personal favorite. If you are the type to enjoy your time in an arcade, I recommend the Blue Moon. I go there myself quite often. And there is the Akatsubaki. It is a quite interesting oiran house with an excellent reputation."

She seems pensive for a few moments before adding in the end. "I enjoy myself wherever I go. Even at the slums. Having fun is a matter of perspective."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I sampled one cocktail on recommendation, called Lovers" Sumiko chuckled.

"Hmm, so many locations. The Scorpion night life certainly is very packed! I'll have to pick one each night to visit, perhaps I'll even invite someone along" she winked at Senshuken "but if you go there a lot anyway I imagine I won't need to, as you'll be there already and the Fortunes will guide me to where you dance."

There was a curious look though as Senshuken continued.

"It sounds like the fun and enjoyment isn't the location, but the people. Or in this case, the person who is a paragon of fun, Senshu-chan" Sumiko raised a spoonful of chocolate ice cream the womans direction "I'll have to thank the mysterious entity that brought you into my life. I was so worried it would be a winter court lacking excitement."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Or it would be wiser to allow the Fortunes to rest for now and exchange contact information so that we could call each other, no?" She suggests and smirks.

"Supposedly a winter court never lacks excitement, especially one taking place is the World of Dreams. Still it's only my first so perhaps you are right."

The Bayushi takes a look around her. "Would you like taking a walk at the beach?" She asks. "I don't like staying still for long."

[Susumu Sumiko]

Sumiko reached into her jacket, taking out her communicator and putting it onto her number.

"My number Senshu-chan, feel free to call me anytime! Although if it's the middle of the night I hope it's an emergency" she laughed. Once numbers were traded she quickly had another mouthful of ice cream before standing up and picking up her jacket.

"Hai, let's go walk on the beach. I bet it's really lovely this time of evening."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshuken also stands up. She takes a black pair of shorts and a red t shirt from her backpack to put on. Then she picks up her helmet and looks towards Sumiko. "Ohhhh! You shouldn't have said that." She says regarding the phone call in the middle of the night. "I am extremely tempted to do it now that you mentioned it." She's probably joking. Probably.

The Bayushi puts her mask back on and gestures that she's good to go. "Are there beaches on Whispers? Tell me of the waters of your homeworld, Sumi chan."

[Susumu Sumiko]

"I will pray that no emergency happens to you" Sumiko said with a chuckle, politely turning away as the other woman dressed.

"Mmm, beaches? Not really. There are some large lakes but because of how the planet is we don't really have any oceans. All the available land is taken up either by the side of the planet permanently exposed to sunlight or by settlements. It's not a large planet though. I don't think you'd find the planet that interesting, except for me being there" she grinned as the woman moved, starting to walk along towards the beaches "Spider worlds aren't really designed with tourism in mind. Longshore, the world we share with the Shark, might be the best when it comes to tourism. Not that I've been to confirm that. I'm sure somewhere in Spider worlds you could find large planes of water for surfing, but I'm not sure it'd be very recommended."

"It's no World of Dreams that's for sure" she looked to Senshuken with a chuckle "but you said you weren't from this part of the planet either right?"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Yes, I was born and raised in a more industrialized province not far from here. Seizu province. It's not as cosmopolitan or beautiful as it is here, of course, but," she shrugs, "life has always been good there and it's really close to this city and all the fun."

She bumps Sumiko with her elbow playfully while they are walking. "A very important and serious question for you now. Are you shy, Lady Susumu? I was merely dressing earlier. Where would you look if I did the exact opposite?"

[Susumu Sumiko]

"Industrial cities have their own charm right?" Sumiko said with a smile "sounds like you would be fine on Whispers, it's very much like that."

She chuckled at the question.

"I was being respectful Senshu-chan, call it years of training making a natural reflex. I do apologise, from now on I shall ensure to watch you no matter what state of dress or undress you are in or moving to" she winked at the woman "it would be a much better view for me as well, so I don't mind doing that."

"If that's how you define respect then by nature, habbit and training, I am rather disrespectful, I must warn you." She winks. "But I'll take your promise to heart. That's a good starting point."

"Is there a racing track for motorsports on Whisper?"
