[Day 4 EA] If you could get under my skin (Expecting/Closed)

Yūrei flushes slightly a hand moving to the spot before she nods.

"Thank you. It's appreciated. Security might have some words if they see me wondering around alone. And then I'd have to come back immediately and I imagine you'd be very disappointed in me."

She goes to let Koyuki lead and then remembers the Crab seems annoyed by overdue deference and instead opts to fall in beside her.
"I um, got a password and location for the next party. If you're still interested." pause "That's umm, not how I got shot though."

[Kuni Koyuki]

"I would not hold others actions over your head, Yurei-san," she says, being the one to open the door out and lead the way more fully. As they proceed through the halls, she gives a seconds pause before she answers. "It would certainly be a far more interesting party if it was," she said. Offering her the rare opportunity where her stony near-neutral tone actually played up the joke far better than if she'd thrown some clear humor into it.

"I would appreciate that, Yurei-san."

Grinning very slightly
"As you say Kuni-sama, I look forward to seeing you there. You'll be one of our VIKs."
Yūrei keeps her head on a swivel as they move through the building, less distracted than she'd been when she arrives. Part of her is noting guatds and cameras, a slightly larger part is trying to work out if there's any good lying around.

"The building is very impressive."

After some fair bit of swiveling, Koyuki would stop and stand beside a door. Looking at Yurei with some intent to her gaze. Holding that look for a moment without saying anything, just standing there watching and waiting.

Yūrei pauses and glances behind her to see if there's anyone before looking back at Koyuki. Slowly, her tongue checks there's nothing between her teeth.

"Kuni-sama?"

"You have wandering eyes," she says, and then pushes through the door like she hadn't. Leading them out into the main lobby area Koyuki continued to walk, and talk, as if that brief interaction hadn't taken place at all.

With the same casual demeanor, "What is a VIK anyway?"

[Yūrei]

"Oh...I was just wondering where the kitchen is. Always get hungry after a near-death experience."
She bows her head in apology

"VIK? Very Important Kuni. It's a great honour, means your drinks are on the tab."

[Kuni Koyuki]

"Sounds excellent," she says, with some extra level of detachment to her tone. Coming to a stop near the center of the lobby she turns one last time to Yurei. This time more like a casual waiting than like a parent catching their kid with a hand in the cookie jar. Arms crossing over her midsection as she inhales, and lets that inhale give rise to her chest and shoulders as if to stand tall and proud.

"Just be careful in the future, Yurei-san. You should be careful you don't make poor decisions in your future, mm?" she says, and then with a sharp nod of her head indicates the door over her right shoulder.

[Yūrei]

Yūrei bows low and holds for a few seconds before surely straightening.
"I will do my best Kuni-sama. Thank you again for your hospitality. I hoe the fortunes find you well for he rest of her day."
With one last arched look at the receptionist and a small smile at Koyuki she's off.
