[D6 LE, OPEN] Oshidama Victory Party

[Susumu Yakumo]

"Strange. I don't remember hearing anything negative like that about you," she lies excellently. A brief smile, "Must not have been that important," she says. Taking a sip of her drink she looks to Yakumo over the rim of the glass. Hatching quite the devilish plan in her mind, and one with a certain nefarious ending for the idol singer.

"Would you be kind enough to join me for a bit, Susumu-sama? I do not get the chance often to bend the ear of someone as well known, and talented, as yourself. Maybe you could join me in the jacuzzi," she glances off in it's direction, one of the rounding 'corners' of the oval not yet taken up, "or maybe by one of the loungers?" and she shifts her gaze that way. A few loungers that seemed to have a couple of pillows to each, not the comfiest looking pillows but they were certainly there.

She was already thinking the loungers, and then seeing the activity in the jacuzzi it just cemented her decision.

"The loungers sound like a wonderful suggestion, Kuni-san, thank you." She said with a nod and a smile, letting Koyuki lead the way as the one who had suggested the idea, and Yakumo trailed next to her.

"I hope you enjoyed the concert, yes?" The topic was chosen to maintain that polite facade, until they could sit down and talk.

[Kuni Koyuki]

She was already thinking the loungers, and then seeing the activity in the jacuzzi it just cemented her decision.

"The loungers sound like a wonderful suggestion, Kuni-san, thank you." She said with a nod and a smile, letting Koyuki lead the way as the one who had suggested the idea, and Yakumo trailed next to her.

"I hope you enjoyed the concert, yes?" The topic was chosen to maintain that polite facade, until they could sit down and talk.

"I was surprised by it," she says, almost too neutral to convey the truth. Though, Yakumo likely could see that subtle difference after their bit of time together. Koyuki wasn't as expressive as most, but she certainly had her tells. Just had to have a mind to look close enough, long enough, and you could read her like a book.

"I am not much of a fan of the type of music. Pop, the mainstream, being so very passionless," she says, giving a glance to Yakumo as she waited for someone to cross in front of them. That slight smirk worn openly in the moment, a sip of her glass to conceal it. "Though I enjoyed this performance a great deal. It'll be memorable." Finding their way through, she scopes out a couple of loungers for the both of them and makes sure to get Yakumo the comfier of the two (by whatever measure Koyuki can find to claim as much) and suggest that one to her with merely a glance.

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata just stared at all the men throwing themselves at him with a shocked look . . . which meant he ended up swallowing some of the jacuzzi water splashed in his direction.

"Oh bleargh . . . ugh that's horrible . . . "

He took a swig of beer hoping it would dispel the horrible chloriney taste.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Kiyoshi had intended to avoid the jacuzzi, as it was likely to be crowded. As he emerged from the water, however, he lifted himself up to sit on the edge, assessing how soaked his clothing was.

"My apologies, mina-sama." he dipped his head low towards the others.

[Matsu Hide]

Well, despite the party being a Mantis party… Hide couldn’t help but live up to her Party Lion nature. Plus, her wife had expected her to make a lot of friends and Hide didn’t want to disappoint. So, instead of being nervous about coming Hide owned it. She participated at the oshidama tourney as well, so it’s normal to congratulate the winners. So she put on her sporty top and shorts and grabbed a drink.

Why was the area around the jacuzzi wet…? Well, Hide just shrugged and slipped in the tub carefully, so she didn’t spill her drink.

[Kuni Koyuki]

Taking the seat beside Yakumo, Koyuki doesn't so much lounge as sit sideways in it so that she can remain facing Yakumo directly. Regarding the woman while she gets settled in that way which she'd keep as private as possible. Breaking away, as if to flee from the feeling of looking too long and too directly, by taking a drink from her glass. Glancing out around the party, and how many familiar faces there were among them all. It was almost surprising seeing them all, how many people she knew here and how she'd felt today. A smile rose, and then an acidic nugget appeared in her stomach soured the thought a bit.

"I know," she says, looking back to see Yakumo appropriately settled. Touch of a smile at that thought. Ruminating on that feeling a bit, she glances down at her drink and swirls it with a motion of her wrist. "You were really something today," she says softly, leaving off the address as to avoid being overheard.

[Hotaru Jun]

"Oh hi Hotaru-samaaa! I'm Asahina Hinata!"

He then realised that the other occupant hadn't introduced themselves and he wasn't even sure on clan.

"From Usagi drop." He had though he'd recognized the man from the concert. More was about to be said but it was interupted by a large splash as a crab enter the jacuzzi. Jun managed to keep his drink, but the glass was now half full of jacuzzi water. After brushing the water from his eyes he looked at the glass for a moment before bringing it to his nose for a speculative sniff.

This was followed by a frown before he sat the glass to the side. It was probably best not to drink jacuzzi water. Especially if he took into account the look on Hinata's face. Luckily Sakura's presence was a saving grace and he looked up at her and extended a hand. "Please."

[Bayushi Mariko]

After that rather upsetting display and the vocal outrage she displayed, she gave a quick flick of her hands and wiped her face from the chlorine water. Did some sort of bomb go off in the water or was this some sort of prank? She was so not amused.

When her sight cleared enough she saw it was the Kitsune, Kaiu, and even a Matsu that wasn't there before. She had expected a Mantis-headed party to be a little wild but this was probably several leagues past uncouth than what she was expecting. Was there going to be a raid, next? Her gaze went to each of them in an alternating fashion to find the guilty party. It sure looked like the Kaiu, she was almost sure of it...The Bayushi could easily detect the face of failure, despite not having all of the evidence.

She pointed up as if making a declaration to the people at the jacuzzi, looking a bit bewildered as she bottled up the rest of her outrage. "Okay! I think I'm done."

With that, she out of the jacuzzi and stormed off to the changing area.

[Matsu Hide]

Hide slowly blinked at the Bayushi’s reaction. What was that about? She was so confused! After taking a sip of her beer, she looked at the others in the hot tub with a bewildered expression. “Did I do something to offend her…?”

She had no idea exactly what transpired before, only that Mariko decided to up and leave almost as soon as Hide got in. So there had to be a correlation, right?

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata had experienced a few Nazuna meltdowns in his career, so knew it was best to just let the Bayushi go and not make things worse by an unwanted commiseration or a badly timed joke.

So he kept quiet, looking from Setsu to Kiyoshi to Jun to Hide and then back again, all over the top of his beer bottle.

[Kaiu Setsu]

Setsu doesn't even blink as he's being laser fried by Mariko's glare. As she moves away and attention is diverted, the Crab slowly floats to the lonely side of the jacuzzi and nonchalantly fetches himself a drink while trying to figure out how he could apologize to Mariko.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Akira-chan stormed off the same way in the middle of series six." Kiyoshi sighed. "It was never the same again."

She had blamed him, he knew. She had been pulled into mischief that tended to follow him too many times.

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi leaned against the bar glad they hadn't made their way to the water just yet. The drink came up to their lips and Kazumi took a solid drink smiling a little at the Bayushi's outrage. What's the fun of a pool party if you don't get a little wet after all?

[Hotaru Sakura]

What the ever living fuck?!

Seeing Mariko storm away, Sakura chased after. Oh no fucking way.

"Kaiu-sama, what the ever living fuck was that?" She threw in before running after the actress.

[Matsu Hide]

“Ohhhhhh…” The water around the hot tub, the water in Jun’s drink, the reaction of Sakura, and the unamused looks all around. Did… The Kaiu jump into the hot tub like a pool? Hide took another look around, gathering as much info as she could.

Sure seemed that way.

So she just took another sip of her beer before placing it on the ledge beside her. “That’s pretty cringe, bro.” That was her attempt to at least raise the moods of the others around.

[Susumu Yuji]

Arriving fashionably late to the party, Yuji was dressed in his bathing suit from the oshidama tournament. Though unlike Rei, he opted to go without the unbottoned shirt. His pale skin a stark contrast to the dark of the trunks, his hair, and lipstick. An easy going smile.

Though as he entered, he witnessed Mariko storming off. Slow blinks as he wondered what had happened.

Best to find a beer.

"I'm glad to hear that... didn't want to disappoint after all, especially since my muse had been asking for me to bring more passion to my music." Of course, that muse could be anybody!

"But to be honest, I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow. At least a little," she chuckled as if sharing a naughty secret with the Kuni.

[Bayushi Mariko]

Sakura coughed up the water...

What the ever living fuck?!

Seeing Mariko storm away, Sakura chased after. Oh no fucking way.

"Kaiu-sama, what the ever living fuck was that?" She threw in before running after the actress.

For a moment she noted the arrival of her Spider superior, and did think man, Kimurahime is one lucky woman, then she focused back on Koyuki again, nodding gratefully as a sincere smile came to her features.

"I'm glad to hear that... didn't want to disappoint after all, especially since my muse had been asking for me to bring more passion to my music." Of course, that muse could be anybody!

"But to be honest, I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow. At least a little," she chuckled as if sharing a naughty secret with the Kuni.

There was a certain draw of looking to follow where anyone's eyes went, and Koyuki was helpless with this one. Yet, all she was treated with was one of the other Spider who was apparently shirtless. Very- she looks back to Yakumo without dwelling on it. Not like it would do her any good she simply could never find the appeal herself. Focusing on the woman opposite her though, well.

From the first, she earned a smirk. A smirk which slowly shifts simply into a light smile before fading appropriately. Running a thumb along the edge of her glass in lieu of anything else, "Your muse is lucky. They certainly must be impressed after tonight's performance. I do not think anyone could possibly argue otherwise that you gave a truly inspired, and passionate performance. After one like that you deserve all the chance to rest you can claim for yourself."

"I wonder.. to be seen as a muse by the likes of you; I have to wonder how someone manages to live up to such a standard."
