(D1, LA) Meeting New Friends

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

The Detective clapped and chattered cheerfully. Then he put a hand full of gummed in his mouth.

"He loves fruit and sweets." Kiyoshi chuckled. "But, I limit the latter."

[Asahina Hinata]

Just like the Crane usually limited Hinata's sweets . . . and purchases, but he was on his own here . . . freeeeeeee!!

"He looks fine, you must take good care of him."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Well, we've been constant companions for a few years now. We take good care of each other."

[Asahina Hinata]

And Hinata found that to be absolutely adorable.

"Oh that's just absolutely adorable!!"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Even as a child, I spent much of my time with animals." he shrugged. "Foxes, ravens, wolves, squirrels, bats. They'd come to me and we'd play. But, then they'd leave. I took a while for me to get used to living with the monkeys."

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata had had few pets. The 'Canary Incident' had put paid to that.

"The Fox homeworld sounds so full of life."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Few other worlds are like Inari's Cradle." he nodded. "It's very different from the World of Dreams, with only a few farming communities and habitats. We have lush untouched forests, teeming with life. But, every world is different and amazing in its own way."

[Asahina Hinata]

"Are there lots of foxes? I mean little foxes . . . . little furry foxes?"

Keep digging that hole, Hinata-kun.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Oh yes." he nodded. "More than you could count. All kinds, too. Red ones, brown ones, gray one, white ones, large ones, tiny ones. Some are a bit unusual, but they are all adorable."

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh."

He was clearly trying to imagine all of them . . . at once . . . in the same place.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"I could send you some holorecordings, if you'd like." he suggested.

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh yes please!!!!"

He happily gave over his communicator details.

"Especially if you have any of baby foxies."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Of course." He quickly took the contact information. "Here's a little one."

[Asahina Hinata]

There was no other word for it . . . he squeeed.

"Squeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Oh, it's sooooooo cute!!!!"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

The Detective shielded his ears with his paws.

"I'll send you more later, Asahina-sama." He did not want to overload the Crane.

[Asahina Hinata]

"Awww just look at the lil ear wiggling . . . . "

To say he was pleased was a gross understatement.

"Thank you, Kitsune-samaaa!"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"I'm pleased you like it, Asahina-sama." he smiled. "Thank you for your company this afternoon. I should get the Detective a proper dinner, before he fills up on gummies."

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh yes. Lots to do. I should get these plushies back to my room."

He was likely going to be scrolling through fox videos for hours . . .

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"I hope you have a pleasant evening." he offered a bow. "Hopefully, we'll cross paths again soon."

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata bowed, just about not dropping his purchases.

"Thank you, Kitsune-samaaa and Detective-sannnnn."
