The Music Of The Night (D6, EN)

[Susumu Yakumo]

Yakumo listened, and did her best to follow, but it was sadly a bit too complicated for her to fully understand all of the difficulties. Ugh, why did the clans have to isolate so much!?

"Sounds like quite a challenge, yes. Hmmm... it would also be tricky to get people to catch up on it. But luckily! That is something I am better at, than techie-stuff," she smirked knowingly to Kazumi, "spread the word enough and people will be interested."

"Nothing a bit of time and determination can't overcome. Besides like you said with you throwing star power behind the idea I'm sure it'll become the thing of next court season." Actually with her connections to imperials she might actually have the key to easing delivery of data between clans. But that was a problem for a deeper think than they would get on their walk.

"But it does seem like the two of us would make a pretty good team." They said with a smile to Yakumo.

The pair found themselves about to enter the Aerie enclosure. The last remaining habitat for virtually all of the planets avian species. Some colorful birds flitted from tree to tree though this late at night many were already settled and it was more the darker nocturnal birds active.

"Mhm, it does seem so, Kazumi-san," she nodded, and found her attention drawn to the songs of the nocturnal birds. "I can't make any promises as such, but if my contract with the Imperials is renewed, I will be keeping you in mind for possible collaberations for my new album. Already have three new songs ready for it now."

When the muse inspired you, you had to work while the inspiration was there, and Yakumo had lucked there.

Now Yakumo's attention was fully captivated by the birds. "Ah, this reminds me more what it's like being on Isora's Rest... the music of the night, brought to you by birds."

Kazumi chuckled as they walked looking up to see some shiny black birds fly over landing on branches near by "Well you've surely been a busy little Spider. Do you ever just take time to fully relax?" They asked smiling to her showing a slash of white teeth in the grin "not that I don't understand the drive, when the inspiration hits you have to just ride the wave."

They chuckled a little "I sometimes get so much into the flow Yurei has to remind me to eat or I'll go an entire day without eating."

Kurayami unfurled his wings and flew up ahead of them a little as they were nearing the spine drake enclosure. Kazumi didn't seem alarmed by the drake flying off.

"Oh, I do! In fact I'm going to be relaxing a lot after today, because apart from the social events I'm required to be at, I have little on my schedule. And it's best to not work too hard. Gotta play hard too," she said and gave him a wink before watching Kurayami fly off.

"Oh, Yurei the ronin, yes? She is sooo sweet. So adorable." Yakumo was rather smitten by the cuteness of the ronin girl.

Kazumi saw the wink and smirked back at her playfully "Well perhaps with all the free time I can show you how the Scorpion play." They said back with a wink of their own.

"But yes Yurei-san has become a very close friend over the past year or so. A rare good soul among the hard ronin on World of Dreams." Not that it was their fault they were hardened to life when the planet tends to chew up and spit out any ronin who showed weakness.

"But let's focus on the here and now." Kazumi said withba smile pointing to some of the birds and spine drakes "did you know these birds are the last of their kind here on the planet? The conservation efforts........."
