Rude Awakenigns (Day 5 Late Morning)

[Hotaru Jun]

There wasn't much room to stretch in the bunks of Firefly ships but Jun did his best of it as he woke. It'd been a while since he'd drank that much and he'd probably slept in more then a bit. A frown crossed his lips a moment later though when he didn't feel the familar kiss of cold steel against his forearms.

"Fuck." That was right, they'd been on a dirtball to party for Koseki's coming wedding. Rolling out of his futon he took a few momentss to look around and take in his surrinding. The question now though was where the fuck was he? They were supposed to maketheir way back to the ship last night... Weren't they?

[Usagi Rei]

Outside the door to whatever room he was in, some sounds could be heard. A man's voice, something opening and closing. The sound of running water.

It also seemed to be light out there.

[Hotaru Jun]

Straightening his rumpled clothes, he'd need a shower or something before he changed Jun ran a hand through his hair and stepped out. Hopefully it wouldn't just be a crowd of dust suckers out here prancing around like planets couldn't explode. Or whatever it was they did in their free time.

Glancing around e tried to spot whoever it was he had heard talking, maybe they could answer his questions.

[Usagi Rei]

On the door opening, Jun would spot Rei, who quickly turned to look at him. The other man was dressed for the day, sharp and clean, shaved, with every appearance of being a morning person. He wasn't, but he cleaned up nicely. He was also just putting away a communicator with one hand, and putting on the electric kettle with the other.

"Oh." Rei blinked surprise. "Good morning... Hotaru-san?" Casually, Rei bowed. "I'm Rei. Usagi Rei." He straightened, eyes narrowing as he looked at the unfamiliar man.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

A monkey suddenly scampered in, looked back and forth between the two men, then scampered off.

[Hotaru Jun]

Jun nodded at the Hotaru, but stopped as the creature scampered in... "That's a big fucking rat." He muttered, mostly to himself likely.

"Yeah, I'm a Hotaru. Name's Hotaru Jun." He replied with a polite bow to the the man, rising and scratch at the few days of stubble on his chin. "Nice you meet ya Usagi-san. I'm guessing since you're here. I'm in what an embassy or something?" He asked as he looked around the area again.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei looked at the man, eyebrows going up. "Uh... yeah. Um, also, that's a monkey. Don't mind him. You get used to it."

He nodded. "This is the MCA embassy." Surely he didn't need to add... "-on the World of Dreams." Yeah, better make sure.

Pouring a cup of hot tea into a mug, he handed it to Jun. "You look like you need this." He said, smiling.

[Hotaru Jun]

Jun shrugged. "Close enough, they're both mammals." Jun left out the part about being dirty and smelling bad. It was only polite.

The second sentence recieved a grunt of understanding and a nod. The cup of tea received another grunt of thanks this time, probably.

"Sounds about right." He offered after taking a long sip of the tea. "Makes some sense at least." After what was probably a bit of an awkward moment the firefly added. "I guess the makes you something of an ambassador then?"

[Usagi Rei]

"I'm the senior attaché for the Hare here." Rei explained.

He poured a cup for himself, then jerked his head out towards where the monkey had gone. "C'mon. You wanna see if any of the others are around? There should be a few fellow Hotaru somewhere."

He frowned. "Uh, is your paperwork all in order?" If not, well, at least they were in an embassy. It would probably only take filing a few more forms to get it sorted out.

[Hotaru Jun]

"So that means you spend all day flirting with Scorpion girls?" Jun asked taking another sip of his tea. It was probably a joke. Maybe?

"But sure." He gestured for Rei to lead the way. "You say I have a few clanmates here?" It was a bit surprising. This was followed by. "Paperwork?"

"Yeah, probably." If not it would be sooner or later.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei snorted. "Well... yeah?" He flashed the other man a grin. "You want me to introduce you to some?"

He nodded. "Yeah. A few, actually. If any of them are around, they can probably get you sorted out."

He gestured. "Here. C'mon." He lead the way through the doorway the monkey took, out to the main room. It had some public terminals, two sitting areas, and a number of doors leading off in different directions.

[Hotaru Jun]

"Maybe, could use something to do." Jun replied easy as breathing. Though he wasn't quite sure Scorpion women were the best idea in that regard.

"Ah, I can get sorted easy enough. A bunk and a place to eat is about all I need." He frowned a moment. "Meeting them probably isn't a bad idea though."

He followed along with the bunny, keeping his eyes open to the surroundings. "Well maybe directions to a bath house too."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Eventually, the monkey returned, pausing at the entrance. He looked back down the hallway, chattered, then pointed at the Firefly. A moment later a man wearing a t-shirt with a large stylized version of the Fox Clan mon appeared.

"Ah, I see." he said to the monkey. Then he turned and bowed to the other two men. "Good morning."

[Hotaru Jun]

The big rat had returned and Jun found himself wondering if you could ever really get used to it. Not that he he said anything about that.

Instead he returned the new man's bow. "Morning."

[Usagi Rei]

"Maybe, could use something to do." Jun replied easy as breathing. Though he wasn't quite sure Scorpion women were the best idea in that regard.

"Ah, I can get sorted easy enough. A bunk and a place to eat is about all I need." He frowned a moment. "Meeting them probably isn't a bad idea though."

He followed along with the bunny, keeping his eyes open to the surroundings. "Well maybe directions to a bath house too."

Rei chuckled. "I'll see what I can do."

Giving Kiyoshi a wave, Rei moved over to his own console. "Hey, Kitsune-san. This is Hotaru Jun. Hotaru-san, this is Kitsune Kiyoshi. As you see, they've got us all stuck in here together."

He pulled up something on his console, frowned, and shrugged. "We've got showers here." He looked back at Jun. "But if you're looking to relax a bit, check out Gokuraku over in the third mercantile district. Lots of stuff happening there."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"I haven't been there yet. I doubt the Detective would be welcome." Kiyoshi picked up the monkey and placed him on his shoulder. "Is there more tea?"

[Usagi Rei]

"I haven't been there yet. I doubt the Detective would be welcome." Kiyoshi picked up the monkey and placed him on his shoulder. "Is there more tea?"

"Just filled it up." Rei assured him with a smile. "If you wanna grab a cup, you're welcome to."

He looked at Kiyoshi. "You could go... but leave the Detective here, right?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Yeah. I probably will." he nodded. "That's what I did for the party."

He poured a cup for himself.

"But, I do try not to leave him on his on too much."

[Hotaru Jun]

The detective, kind of a weird name for an animal, but weird was to be expected when dealing with mudballers. "Might be I'll stop by later then." Proper baths were one of the benefits of being on a dirt clod for a prolonged period of time after all. "Sounds like a good place to relax."

The mention on party caused him to raise an eyebrow though. "Party? They have a lot of those here?"

[Usagi Rei]

Rei chuckled, shaking his head. "This is World of Dreams, during Winter Court. There's going to be a high class party going on somewhere pretty much every day. And if you don't care about high class..." Rei shrugged.

"And that's not counting the bars and the clubs." Rei looked at the confused Firefly. "If you're here long, check out the Golden Frog and the Wicked Wasp." He pressed his lips together a moment. "Maybe Akatsubaki. If you're feeling so inclined."
