Sakura giddily started working on the dress, inspired by Bayushi Mariko.

Sakura turned her head up.

The Detective came in first. He had a ripe persimmon hanging around his neck. Kiyoshi was a few steps behind him.

"Kon'nichiwa, Sakura-san." he smiled. "I hope you don't mind us paying a visit."

"Of course not, minnasama."

She glanced at the detective.

"New fashion, I take it?"

"A souvenir from our adventure yesterday." Kiyoshi responded. "I'm still trying to decide whether or not to eat it."

"Oh, I woukdn't eat the Detecr8ve." Shs winked at the both of them.

"Oh, you had an adventure yesterday? Can I ask what happened?"

"It will need some explanation." He rubbed the back of his head, remembering being hit by multiple persimmons. "A mischievous spirit took the detective to a party yesterday morning and I had to track them down while drunk. Then, I had to perform a concert with several other monkeys and win a dance off with myself."

Sakura blinked. Then blinkes again. "Well, one fo you won, I presume, by rules of elimination..."

She started to fold her new dress. "This planet is weird sometimes. And I've kived here my whole life!"

She sighed. "How's your hangover?"

"Actually, this kind of thing happens to me fairly often. But, I feel pretty good today." he smiled again. "They left me a cure and I went to the baths this morning."

He glanced at the dress. "Is that for you or someone else?"

She tentatively unfolded the dress, stood up, and held it in front of her body.

"I don't understand how anything could hate you." he shook his head. "That's beautiful, especially on you."

"Well, you are not a hungry dead person whose meal I snatched, so must be a cognitive thing."

"Not a problem." He gave a dismissive wave. "It would have been different if you'd called while I was drunk and dancing with the monkeys. So, what was that all about anyway?"

"Well...I think I may have gotten you something to do after court. You know Nari-chan? She's off the net now, but I flaoted the idea of you joining up with her for some streams, perhaps talking about animal preservation as a topic." She looked away sheepishly. "Sorry, if I was too forward. I just wanted to look into what happened to Nari-chan, and I needed an in."
