[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura felt a small weight fall off her chest as Seika agreed to help out in return for nebulous "favors", but it was better than something. Besides, she'll just forward any requests to Yakumo and Rei, or something.

She borrowed Tsuyo's tea set once again, and prepared some tasty tea from Shark lands, ah she awaited her guest.

[Yoritomo Seika]

Seika steps out of the elevator into the Minor Clans' shared lobby and looks around herself with confident curiosity, eyebrows raising a bit at the sight of the shelves loaded with paper scrolls and books. Hard to picture Jun in the same building as so many dead-tree documents...

"Hey, Hotaru-san." She greets Sakura with a little wave. "Wow, when you said 'library' I didn't know you meant... this kind of library. Impressive."

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura let out a small laugh. "Certainly, it is a bit unusual, I guess." She shrugged. "It's my pride and joy thouh, I recently reorganized it as per Hotaru-sama's request."

She brought out a small tea set with Yume-do theme on it.

"Care for some tea? It's from Zairyu, the Shark clan provided it. I reckon it's something you might like, like home." It was a weird dark green color, but she till followed the steps of the ancient ceremony.

"I am very thankful that you came...Seika-sama." She hesitated on the name, but gave it a try.

[Yoritomo Seika]

"That's half a Mantis world, too, y'know, Sakura-san." Seika smiles as she flops down opposite her Oshidama partner-in-victory at one of the asteroid-slice tables. "Shark have the land, Mantis have the seas. Kind of backward, when you think about it..." She waves this off. "Yeah, Tea would be great, thanks. I've been running around doing official business until I got your message." She wrinkles her nose a bit at that. "As long as whatever you have going on here is more interesting than import tariffs, it's a big upgrade."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Oh, it is..." Sakura replied ominously.

When the tea was finished, she sat down. "Seika-sama...this is going to be a pretty esoteric topic, but you're a priestess, and quite bright, so I ask you to indulge me, and a few others, based on trust for now." She took a deep breath. "We are looking into ways to...exorcise an ancient spirit from a currently living host. I can give you some details, but not necessarily all, unfortunately." She waved at the library. "The full might of our library is at your disposal, and in return..I guess I owe you a big favor." She smiled, hopefully.

OOC:
1) What exactly does Miniechi have partially possessing him, and how is it cured? Second half more important than first, but I figured this might count as 2 questions.

2) Now that we have the name of the sword, can we find anything useful in looking up its history?
1) Lore: SR TN:20 Raises likely needed.
2) Lore: History or Lore: Bushido TN:25 Raises likely needed

[Yoritomo Seika]

"Whoa. A currently living host, huh?" Seika's eyes widen. "This isn't your way of telling me you're possessed by a kitsune who's really good at oshidama, right? I mean, sorry, I shouldn't joke about things like that." She shakes her head. "Anyway, I have had some run-ins with spirits from other realms before, but I'd need to know more about..."

Unfortunately, even with Sakura answering her questions, Seika comes up a bit short of the cure her friend is seeking for this unknown patient. She can find some rituals that might work, but it's hard to say which of the lot, if any, would be the likeliest.

The cursed sword, at least, proves an easier set of basic information to track down.

"No, sadly, no cunning Kitsune, just plain old me." Sakura helped and listened and nodded and....

"Well fuck."

She sighed. "Either the answer is here and my organizational skills suck, or maybe there is no answer...."

She took another sip of tea. "Would you like something stronger?"

[Otomo Koroshi]

The Firefly would get a request that an Otomo Koroshi wished to use the library under Usagi Rei's suggestion.

The request would be accompanied by a business card with a doodle of an octopus eating someone on the back.

She sighed. "Either the answer is here and my organizational skills suck, or maybe there is no answer...."

Seika, looking exasperated at the latest dead end, straightens up and rubs her eyes. "Urgh. You're tempting me, Sakura-san. I probably shouldn't get loaded before that gallery opening tonight, though, you know? I mean... not too much, anyway,"

She closes the book in front of her with a sigh. "Sorry about your... friend? Patient? I think you need a real expert for this one, though. The Yogo or Soshi probably have a few on-planet... but I'm gonna guess there's a reason you're not asking them."

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura smiled. "Don't worry Seika-sama, I won't tell anyone." She winked at her friend. "Eh...it's art. I assume being slightly tipsy might help you make some sense of some of it? Except for Tsuyo-sama's footage, I am really looking forward to that one!" She was pretty eager.

"Well...it's a friend of a friend, let's leave it at that. I'll let them know, but...I'm just the librarian here, I guess. How have you been since the party?"
