It was a similar setup to the day before. Rei sat in his office, the door slightly ajar. Anyone could come walking in.

In front of him was a tray, tea and more packaged rice cakes. In fact, there was a little bag of them on the desk next to Rei.

He waited patiently, working casually on his console.

Still slightly damp from the drizzle that remained on his walk between embassies Dai nonetheless seems quite pleased as he enters the room. Not cocky, but the light of someone who had overcome some personal annoyance.

He offers a polite bow, "A pleasure to see you again, Usagi-sama."

He proceeds to collect a cup of tea and a rice cake. As he settles to sit a datadisk can be seen where the tea cup had once stood.

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting." He laughs slightly at this.

Rei grinned. "A pleasure to see you as well, Dai-san."

Smiling, he reached out, taking a rice cake himself, as well as the datadisk. He placed both on his desk. "Not at all. You look like you're having a good day. Been busy, I take it?"

"Not quite as busy as I anticipated I'll admit. It seems some folks don't worry much about who knows who they've been speaking to... or listening to." Dai having lucked out in retrieving not only communication logs of the Ide but also copies of communications that they had intercepted.

Rei tucked the disk away in a secure location. "Well. That's welcome news from my end." He flashed the ronin a quick smile. "I suppose busy but not too busy is exactly what I hoped you would be."

He gestured to the larger package of rice cakes off to the side. "You seemed to enjoy those last time, so I put together a box especially for you." He gave the ronin a significant look.

Dai nods, "They definitely helped give the energy... and motivation... needed for such a task."

(23 Information to the Hare)

Rei smiled. "I'm glad to hear it. Do make sure to take them with you when you leave." After all, the Ronin's payment was in there.

Turning back to the Ronin, Rei smiled. "Well. So. Have you made a decision as to whether you'd like to do more work for us?"

"While I do hope to have another chance to work with the Hare in the future I fear that my other obligations means it may be a week or two before such would be possible."

(Session 4 heist is booked so sadly no co-operation this game - but he is feeling good about the transactional relationship)
