Rude Awakenigns (Day 5 Late Morning)

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"There's a concert at the Wasp tomorrow." Kiyoshi added as he sipped his tea.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei nodded. "That's right. Susumu Yakumo headlining, too." Rei grinned.

"Asahina Hinata of Usagi Drop is gonna be performing too, as will Soshi Kazumi, a notable local DJ. Sounds like it's going to be quite the show." Rei took a sip of his tea.

[Hotaru Jun]

"Kumohime does put on a good show." Jun noted with a bit on interest. "Suppose I'll have to make my way over and see it." The Usagi Drop member he'd seen before wasn't too bad either. "The drinks there any good though?"

Could be it was all watered down and lame like at some places he'd been to in the past.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei shrugged. "They're alright. Most people don't go to the Wicked Wasp to drink, though. For that, go to the Golden Frog."

He looked at the Firefly, pale eyes narrowing. "They do try to fancy it up a bit, but they'll give you straight drinks too. That's my preference."

[Hotaru Jun]

"Think I'll like Golden frog better." Good drinks was a positive indication of a places caliber. "By the sound of it at least."

He frowned for a moment. "Straight is my preference too. Don't really have much need for all that fancy stuff."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"They're well stocked for any taste." Kiyoshi nodded. "As you'd expect of the Scorpion. You can find almost anything you want here."

[Usagi Rei]

Rei grimaced. "And then some."

A moment, and then he looked curiously at Jun. "What's your drink of choice? Shochu's mine, but they've got sake, whiskey, lots of different beers." Rei shrugged casually. "If you like, I can show you sometime." See if they could find some Scorpion ladies. Or maybe something less deadly...

"They're well stocked for any taste." Kiyoshi nodded. "As you'd expect of the Scorpion. You can find almost anything you want here."

Jun nodded at that. You could probably get into plenty of trouble here to while you were at it. "Sounds about right."

"Sake mostly, but I like just about everything else you named to." He wasn't really a picky man. "Long as it wasn't distilled in the back of an engine room it tastes just fine most times." At the second part he nodded. "Couldn't hurt. Easier to keep out of trouble in groups too I imagine."

Rei chuckled. "Just like Kitsune-san says. The Scorpion have some of their best stuff here. The prices, though..." Rei grimaced. "That takes some getting used to."

Smiling, he took another sip of his tea. "Alright, we'll see about doing that. Maybe make it a whole MCA thing." He frowned a moment, considering. "Maybe I'll invite a few others, too. Yurei-san, for instance."

[Hotaru Jun]

"Eh, I'm not too worried about the prices." Jun replied with a shrug. "There isn't too much to buy when you're on a mining ship for months on end."

At the mention of bringing others Jun shrugged. "Sounds good to me." As long as there wasn't fifteen people or something.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei nodded. "I'm not sure I can get anything set up by tonight." Also, he didn't know it yet, but he was going to be super busy tonight. "But maybe day after tomorrow? Tomorrow's the concert. Can't miss that."

Crossing his arms over his chest, he looked at Jun. "How long had you been spaceside, anyway?"

"Not really in a hurry so no need to rush." He took a final sip from his tea, emptying the cup. "Takes time to get things put together."

The second question got a shrug. "Well, can't say it was really much longer than usual. Eleven months or so?" It wasn't too bad of a stretch, and he'd made it to one of the motherships a few times in that time.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei's eyebrows went up. "Eleven months, huh? That's a pretty long tour."

He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "I've spent my share of time on ships myself. Hare fleet, back and forth between Crab and Crane holdings. My parents were both in military support, so we went to..." He chuckled, "-well, not quite where action was, but action adjacent, anyway. Lots of station life, too."

He spread his arms. "And now I'm here."

"Not my longest, but pretty far up there for most." Jun sat his cup on a nearby table to free his hands. "Even when I get dirtside though, it's only for a couple weeks at most."

He frowned a moment. "Now you're here though. Like it better then space?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

Kiyoshi and the Detective were simply listening. They'd traveled a lot, but had never spent that long in space. In truth, being out there had always bothered the Fox.

He frowned a moment. "Now you're here though. Like it better then space?"

"I'd say so." Rei said, shrugging. "Better nightlife. Better drinks. World of Dreams has a lot going on. In my three years here, I haven't experienced everything the planet has to offer, not nearly.

He took another sip of his tea. "Make the most of it while you're here."

Something told Jun that if he spent three years on the World of Dreams, he'd likely end up throttling people in an alley. Still to each their own. Or so he'd heard.

"I'll try to do just that, though it's not likely I'll be here for long. I suppose I'll ask. Anything you'd suggest outside drinking?"

[Usagi Rei]

Rei considered that a moment.

"What do you like to do?" He asked. "World of Dreams has a lot on it. Beaches, entertainment, gardens, shops..." He shrugged.

"Probably best to avoid the beaches." Jun replied with a smirk.

"Eleven months in space doesn't really prepare you for fun in the sun." Fun in the sun was what hip people called it, right? Probably not. "I'm pretty open otherwise though. Can't really spend all my time drinking after all." Though he could try, if he really wanted to.

[Usagi Rei]

Rei considered. "Try Akatsubaki. It's a respectable Oiran house. A lot of business meetings happen there. The staff there is very talented in traditional arts." He smiled. "And they're very pretty, as a bonus."

He shrugged. "Not sure if that's your sort of thing. But like I said, it's respectable, and a bit of luxury for a fun evening. Not a bad place to spend some of whatever you've saved up in the last eleven months."
