[D4 ME] Trap's Wide Open

[Yūrei]

Yūrei wonders why the heating is so much higher in the common room, silly, really.

With the tone of a drowning woman nearly resigned to her fate"Oh I think the last thing anyone wants is to see me in that blue dress."

Increasingly flushed now, trying to change the subject
"Your butt does look great, Sakura-chan"
But when she said that she meant it platonically, as one bestie to another. Kami, why did Rei and Sakura have to work in the same building?

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Mhm, you're right Usagi-sama. Yurei-chan, c'mon, let's see what we can find." She eyed her friend. "Maybe not the blue dress...but there's that jumpsuit maybe? I think it would fit on you." It was a really figure hugging jumpsuit bought cheaply at one time.

"Be back soon Usagi-sama."

Her voice was full of business and devious planning.

[Usagi Rei]

"Oh, I'm suddenly very curious about this blue dress." Rei said, nodding seriously.

"I'll be waiting." Rei called after them, grinning.

[Yūrei]

Yūrei lets Sakura drag her back into the room, dropping her voice to a whisper

"Sakura-chan, what am I gonna do? He's still out there."
She slowly peaks around the doorframe to confirm.

"And I'm just wearing...you know, casual clothes. And he is too but he's got that thing where he looks really good in them and I just kind of look like me."
In a rapid low staccato
"And he's going to be at the orgy and I'm not and he won't say anything since he's nice but I bet he's wondering why I didn't get an invite and then he sees me like this and he thinks 'oh, that's why'. And that's not why, it's a clan thing, not because I'm just kinda plain."

[Hotaru Sakura]

Yūrei lets Sakura drag her back into the room, dropping her voice to a whisper

"Sakura-chan, what am I gonna do? He's still out there."

Sakura harrumphed, put her hands on her hips, and pointed her finger at her friend. "You. ARe. Not. Plain. And you look cute in this." She waved at Yurei's "girl next door in the trailer park" getup. "But c'mon. Let's find you something nice to wear and wow him. Besides, it may not be an orgy!"

She wasn't certain. The wording was unclear. Only "bring your best and scandalouest!" Which she was sure wasn't a word.

"He thinks you're cute, but now you can wow him." She pulled out the jumpsuit, which was dark green for some reason. Prolly why it was cheap. "We both know you're the prettier of the two of us." She had to raise her voice, as apparently Tsuyo was whacking at some part of the dress that wasn't fitting perfectly.

Meanwhile, she pulled down the blue dress, which was more elegant, like what one wears to a 14 year old's pre-gempukku dinner. "...maybe not. I look like like my grandmother, whoever she may be."

she turns the jumpsuit this way and that with a squint
"It's gonna be a bit tight, isn't it? You sure I won't look goofy?" And why was it green?

"Yeah that blue on you is very 'I had to put on something formal so this is it'. Takes you into respectable and then over the border into stuffy." Pause "I'm sure your grandmother was cool though."

She eyes the skirt and decides on the lesser of two evils, shrugging off her clothes to do her best to slip into the jumpsuit

"Oh that notta is coming back to bite me, this is definitely karma."
With a few awkward wriggles she starts working it up her body.

She eyes the skirt and decides on the lesser of two evils, shrugging off her clothes to do her best to slip into the jumpsuit

Sakura quickly stepped in and started pulling the jumpsuit up to help her friend getting in the way. "It was either this or maroon, and maroon clashes with my eyes. And my sense of taste. Now, go get out there, while I look for something that is not my unknown grandmother's." She gently but firmly tried pushing Yurei towards Rei.

No one seemed to pay attention to Tsuyo for now. At least nothing was on fire yet.

[Usagi Rei]

As the pair returned, Rei sat up again. And, upon taking a closer look, his eyebrows went up as well, and he smiled.

"Hey, you look nice, Yurei." His eyes flickered down and then back up. "You got the figure for that. It's very green though, isn't it?"

Tilting his head, he smiled at them. "Although... at this thing, it is okay to show a bit of skin. If you want. Nothing scandalous, but... a bit." He suggested casually.

[Yūrei]

"Yup, very green."
She reaches down and yanks some of the uncomfortably tight jumpsuit down which just leaves it pulling on other areas.

"Rei-sama is right. Even if I can't be at the orgy, because of a bureaucratic mixup, it sounds like you're allowed to be adventurous."
Putting a hand on Sakura's shoulder, which she's pretty sure results in a rip in the jumpsuit
"Just, not too adventurous, alright? I want you safe at this high society sex party."
Turning back to the Hare.

"You too, but I know you can handle yourself."

[Usagi Rei]

"Uh, hold on." Rei laughed. "It's not an orgy. It's not even a sex party." He considered that for a few moments. "Well... it's definitely a sexy party. But that's different."

Shaking his head, he chuckled again. "Don't worry. I'll make sure she gets home safe. But thank you for the vote of confidence."

[Yūrei]

"Uh, hold on." Rei laughed. "It's not an orgy. It's not even a sex party." He considered that for a few moments. "Well... it's definitely a sexy party. But that's different."

Shaking his head, he chuckled again. "Don't worry. I'll make sure she gets home safe. But thank you for the vote of confidence."

She mouths a sincere 'thank you.'
"I'm just usually there with her." Pause "In general, not at the orgies or sex parties. We don't go to a lot of them. I think, I don't know what counts as a lot. But some of those people can be pretty sleazy, and not in a good way."

[Usagi Rei]

Rei looked at her, lips twitching. "But you do go to a few?" He asked.

Chuckling, he nodded. "But you're not wrong. It's best to be careful."

[Yūrei]

"We've uh, worked security at a few. Or we did, Sakura-chan would never need to do such things now. But some of the hosts preferred 'pretty' guards and a koku is a koku."
Shrugging

"Sometimes it got a bit weird, but you just stare ahead and pretend not to recognise the ass of that Bayushi Lord you've definitely seen before."

[Usagi Rei]

Rei stared hard at Yūrei for a few moments, then frowned, considering Sakura. He'd never... no. He was positive that he hadn't ever meet either of them in a different capacity.

"I hadn't considered that." Rei said after a few moments. "Well. Here's hoping for better fortune all around. Bayushi-sama's ass included."

[Hotaru Tsuyo]

Sakura quickly stepped in and started pulling the jumpsuit up to help her friend getting in the way. "It was either this or maroon, and maroon clashes with my eyes. And my sense of taste. Now, go get out there, while I look for something that is not my unknown grandmother's." She gently but firmly tried pushing Yurei towards Rei.

No one seemed to pay attention to Tsuyo for now. At least nothing was on fire yet.

A voice from beneath the frail-seeming skeleton of thin metal strips says, "Take off a couple feet at the hem and slit the sides and everythin' your granny owned will be just fine for the party." She crawls out and sets her tools down. "Make sure that girl gets somethin' to eat before she leaves, neh? There's got to be leftovers from some meeting out there."

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura frowned. "It's not? The invite said "get ready to be scandalized by decadence"? What is it going to be then? Chocolate fountains?" She sighed. "Man, at best it's a Blue Ball then." She looked between the two to see if they get her Amazing Joke.

She did move closer to Yurei wearing her jumpsuit. "To be fair, this is not really mysterious. You kinda see most things..Yurei-chan, you're toned! Been working out? You look good!"

Yūrei just looks at Sakura, and looks, and looks...then she coughs which is definitely not a suppressed laugh.

"Definitely not mysterious, you could count my ribs through this thing."
It didn't help they had a tendency to stick out from time to time.
"Working out? Nothing like that, just a few runs. Toned is a nice word for it though babe. Implies there's not a lack of anything."

Losing a little of her self-consciousness, part of her mind now running on Tsuyo's suggestion of leftovers in the future.
"You know, you could wear something kinda like this, right? Play up the whole Firefly thing with a jumpsuit. But make it a sorta edgy flattering jumpsuit?"

Sakura was still looking at the jumpsuit...and slowly circled around Yurei, placing a hand on her behind. "Oh wow. Now this is toned Yurei-chan. Running for your life has done wonders for you." There was sincere buttockal admiration in her voice.

"Maaaaybe, but we're supposed to hide who we are. Will see."

She turned back towards the room. "Don't worry Tsuyo-sama, I put away some of supper for Yurei-chan. Will make sure she won't starve."
