[Susumu Sumiko]

"Did you ever find it frustrating? Seeing things like that, putting them together and not understanding why others didn't see it?" Sumiko asked, curious. It felt a lot like her schooling.

[Miya Nishida]

"Not really. Those who failed to shine ended up in unimportant posts and places where the light of civilization and glory barely shines. If anything, it's a necessary evil that some win, others must lose." he replied drily.

[Susumu Sumiko]

So cold, I admire that.

Sumiko smiled, and nodded.

"Thank you Miya-sama. It sounded like your schooling experience mirrored mine, so I thought I would ask. Forgive me for prying" she bowed "I can understand your mindset, it would certainly fit the virtues the Spider would teach their students as well."

[Miya Nishida]

He shrugged his shoulders. "The Yasuki don't have much room for those who can't rise above others. At least that's what my father and mother taught me. Possibly my mother's clan also played a role in my attitude. It's better to be the hunter than the prey, don't you think?"

[Susumu Sumiko]

There was another nod.

"Exactly so, so that you can inspire others to greater heights. That's why you are an Imperial, and the others are not right?"

She stretched, and then looked outwards.

"I think I should take my leave for now though. Thank you for the wonderful conversation Miya-sama, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

She collected her towel and rose, doing her best to cover her modesty - although the Very Jade-like green tattooed into her hand might have been more interesting to a former Crab - and bowed.

[Miya Nishida]

He nodded. "You've been a wonderful person to talk to Sumiko-san." he said, averting his gaze slightly. "I'm already looking forward to tomorrow."

"Thank you Miya-sama. Have a lovely rest of your day!"

With that she climbed out, and went to the changing rooms.
