[D6 LE, OPEN] Oshidama Victory Party

[Kuni Koyuki]

"Oh a secret. Ok!" While it wouldn't take Yakumo long to pick up her things, Koyuki would still get a good headstart ahead of her.

Yakumo cast a last look around before heading outside to meet the Kuni.

Meeting outside, Koyuki was mindful of the surroundings best as she could be and secreted Yakumo away. From there, with the songstress properly rescued from the party for the end of the evening she would be taken off to somewhere she might rest, relax, and recuperate in good company . As much as the songstress herself might allow before she inevitably would find her way elsewhere. Koyuki herself would make the most of every second she was given.

Sakura, who handled her matter of fealty with a confusing mix of mystery and honesty, smiled sweetly. "But of course! And that is why Bayushi-sama is such an inspiration. Born of prestige and talent, yet still worked hard! Gambatte!"

She eyed the cup. "Would Bayushi-sama care for another cup?"

Mariko smiled a bit smugly at that. "It does make me happy to hear that I've been a good source of inspiration for you and I do feel that you may just be destined for great things in the future so long as you turn that inspiration into reality. Be sure to keep at it and you'll find success in time, perhaps even influence your scion in the future."

She gave her hair another quick brush, although settled that might be all she could do for the time being. "Please. Actually, I could use some of that green tea cocktail in a bottle. I lost my bottle a bit ago. It would be nice to finally get a sip to wash out this taste in my mouth."

Mariko smiled a bit smugly at that. She stood and hesitated for a second. "Bayushi-sama mentioned a picture together with Yoritomo-sama..back at the arcade?" Her tone was quite hopeful.

Kazumi nodded "Fascinating work you do, asteroid sculpture. I'd imagine it's an impressive thing to see, though I doubt I'll ever get the chance to see it in person. The photos I've seen are quite spectacular."

Kazumi nodded in thanks when the glass was filled "Uhm, well its something I'd toyed with the idea of doing before but" they shrugged "never had the confidence I guess? I'd relesed the song in a slightly different version before but no one knew I was the singer on it. I showed it to Yakumo-sama and she said it was good and I mean, I guess I figured if someone like her liked it then I was probably ready to share with everyone. That mixed with the concert happening" They shrugged "guess it just seemed like the best time. But thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it, we all put a lot of work into tonight so its nice to hear people enjoyed it." Kazumi gave her a look that expressed sincere gratitude.

"It showed." This shot she sips at. Slowing her uptake just a bit. "Susumu-sama might be the big draw, but everyone added to that overall feelin'. T'be honest, I hadn't expected to like her music so much. There's a...satisfaction, I guess, with hearing the parts of your stuff fittin' together. Those ballads don't do that as much, but there was a power to the words and sound tonight that worked." Her own gaze goes a bit distant, hearing things in memory.

Bringing her focus back to the artist in front of her, she adds. "The extra confidence sits well on ya. Locally, at least, your big reveal's probably at least as big a deal as offworld stars performin,' yeah?"

She circles back to the comments about her sculpture after another sip. "Almost nobody goes up to see my big works in person. I design the drone footage to be as 'you are there' as possible though. This one'll have a showing in a few days."

[Hotaru Jun]

"Naz-kun said something about a private performance for the Lord Magistrate on New Bikini . . . him, Yakumo-samaaaa and a Yoritomo Shrimp-sannnnn? "

He looked unsure.

"I think it was that, something about a Mantis Shrimp anyway. He never said anything about a public concert but he wasn't there long."

"New Bikini.... You know I think that's a better name for it then what they gave it." Jun replied with a low chuckle.

"But yeah, I do think one of the other acts was a Mantis artist that went by shrimp or something." He frowned for a moment, If he was honest he had mostly went for reasons other then the music, and it was a bit hard to remember. Course he'd drank alot on New kalani as well. "It was a bit ago, and I can't quite recall though."

[Asahina Hinata]

"New Bikini.... You know I think that's a better name for it then what they gave it." Jun replied with a low chuckle.

He frowned for a moment, If he was honest he had mostly went for reasons other then the music, and it was a bit hard to remember. Course he'd drank alot on New kalani as well. He blinked, looked down at a water jet that he'd managed to move his hip into and carefully moved a little to the right to avoid it.

"Sure, let me get some for you." She beamed. "I will do my best to make good use of Bayushi-sama's inspiration."

She stood and hesitated for a second. "Bayushi-sama mentioned a picture together with Yoritomo-sama..back at the arcade?" Her tone was quite hopeful.

I'd love to have a picture taken with both of you."

Coming back to the pair (if they did pair up), Sakura brought a drink for everyone. She handed the actress her cocktail, and brought a pair of shots for Seika and herself. She hooked arms with the Mantis and swished back her drink with an almost feverish frenzy. "Come on minna-chan, let's get in pose! Bayushi-sama, would you mind standing in the middle, and Yoritomo-sama and I will stand on your sides. Perhaps like a pose from Medical Units, Unit Go! You know the one, during the opening?"

She was practically vibrating.

"So cooooool." Meanwhile a heimin was tasked to take a picture of the rich, the pretty and the weirdo.

"Oh, hi again, Bayushi-san! I guess we're taking a picture for the history books, huh?" She doesn't know what Medical Unit GoGo! or whatever is, exactly, but she'll happily strike a pose. "Careful with my baby, Jiro-kun," she warbles to the lucky(?) staffer on holorecorder duty, "I got the settings all perfect, so you just have to press that button..."

"It was kind of weird, but at least you didn't really have to worry about weather."

"Not from your hotel room or anything." Jun said with a shrug. "But they made beaches at the edges of the bowls and you could go on trips to see all kinds of fish and stuff. Was pretty neat."

"The used stuff from the sea for just about everything too." He raised his cup. "Even made weird sake out of kelp."

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh, of course, of course." She would say after a gulp and she sat her drink elsewhere for safekeeping before assuming the spot reserved for her in between. After taking a breath in, she adopted her pose from the opening credits, standing upright with one arm behind her and striking a salute. She stressed her jaw with an eager smile, perhaps enough to make her remember why she had a little difficulty managing her perky Soshi Akane role from the show. Did it always hurt to smile this much?

"Haaaaai! Attention!" She would say in a slightly more upset tone of her voice as Soshi Akane was present at the party, albeit her hair was different and she was wearing a swimsuit.

"I think you get me."
She winks back before sliding a little lower in the Jacuzzi.

"Food and a double date it is. For now I'm just going to sort of...close my eyes. If I slip below the water can you kick me or something?"

"Oh, yeah, no problem." Hide, herself just slipped further into the water. She tool another drink here and there, but she was just content with the water.

After the pictures were finished, Mariko returned to her normal resting-face self. She would have felt better if her hair wasn't ruined before, again. However, if she didn't do much to keep whatever fans she had, then she might just end up as the next Hashinako.

She took a long sip from her glass and her gaze went to their Yoritomo hostess, clearly noting her languid demeanour. That's perhaps where she wanted to be, to be honest. "Yes, please, Hotaru-san. The party has been rather splendid, other things notwithstanding."

Hinata listened and then looked very puzzled for a moment. Another moment of deep thinking passed before finally.

"What is kelp?"

Dust suckers could be a weird lot at the best of times, so Jun didn't blink at Hinata's question, merely took a sip of his drink and answered.

"Sea grass."

"It's kinda dark green and slimy, think some people put it on their faces as a beauty product?" He glanced around. "The Mantis could probably tell you more about that though."

"Sea grass . . . grass that grows underwater and people make drinks out of it and put it on their faces . . . . ???"

He made a face that is best described as 'bleargh'.

"Oh, I bet this hottub water tastes better than that . . . "
