Koroshi arrived to the Lion Embassy with a great big fan with the character of 'honor' on it and a green and orange striped jacket that looked like St. Patrick's day vomit. He had submitted a request to speak to the ambassador of the Embassy, or a lower ranking courtier if the 'very important samurai was unavailable', as Koroshi understood the value of time. For all he knew the ambassador was meeting with individuals a dozen times more important than himself all throughout the day.

In the mean time he would be absorbing the décor. Very...spartan.

Koroshi was made to wait in a room decorated with scrolls exalting the virtues of sincerity and honesty, the life at the Lion embassy continuing as normal, official and diplomats busy at work. Pleasant scent of fresh wood and incense filled the air, cacophony of voices echoing through the hallways. Perhaps half an (Rokugani) hour later a rather nervous young Ikoma would escort Koroshi to a threadbare office, announcing his 'arrival'.

"Otomo Koroshi-sama, Akodo-sama." they piped before scurrying away.


"Please come in, Otomo-san. Take a seat, please. How I may help you?" Hisakazu asked, fiddling wit his densai, a flick of his fingers closing an article about Susumu Yakumo.

Koroshi had enjoyed the scrolls for the first few minutes but gotten bored after that. It was a relief to see the ambassador himself, Koroshi had personally become convinced he wouldn't meet anyone that day.

"Of course, Ikoma-sama. This one wishes a thousand blessings upon your house and line." The Otomo said as he took the offered seat, after bowing deeply to show respect for his position.

"This one has an outrageous request that he hopes will be listened to for at least a few moments." Koroshi began, adopting a earnest tone on the edge of politeness. "I wish to speak to you about the possibility of speaking to a Lion spirit-caller."

He waited a second to see how that was received.

"Blessings on your line as well." Lion ambassador nodded, frowning as he eyed Koroshi with no small amount of suspicion. Imperial mon rarely meant anything good, the great houses playing games of their own. "Uh. I beg your pardon?" Hisakazu blinked as if he had not quite understood the request.

"A Sodan Senzo, Akodo-sama." Koroshi inclined his neck to try to generate a feeling of maximal respect. "I would like to request the opportunity to speak to one about a spiritual issue they might be able to offer a unique perspective on. This one wishes to be circumspect in the exact nature of the issue if at all possible."

"Uh-huh." the older man blinked as he tried to process this request, scratching his chin. "I mean. We do have one here. However, Otomo-san must understand that Kitsu-san cannot promise to keep anything from her kin... or me. But if Otomo-san is fine with that, I see no reason why a consolation could not be arranged."

"This one does not mind too much if Akodo-sama had access to Kitsu-sama's perspective on the matter. It is merely best if this matter is not immediately used to embarrass the hosts of this planet. It involves thoughts on how to make the Desolation less...the Desolation." Koroshi said as he wondered how exactly one would bring up the glimmerstone's true nature in a roundabout way.

"So this one would request that consult, and that the items of discussion would remain opaque to those outside of this Embassy."

"Well well well." Koroshi could see Akodo's eyes brighten, the older man still stroking his chin. "Indeed. That would be most unfortunate, yes. I suppose we will do what we can to avoid any sort of problems." he added, sounding rather sincere.

Koroshi is gladdened to see that cooperation is possible. "That is indeed most excellent to hear Akodo-sama! This one will remember your ancestors in his prayers."

He bowed at recieving approval for his request.

"Very good. TAKESHI-KUN! PLEASE TAKE OTOMO-SAN TO KITSU-SAN. I THINK SHE IS IN THE GARDENS." Hisakazu yelled loud enough to make people next room feel uncomfortable, a young and visibly nervous assistant appearing at the door, beckoning Koroshi to follow with a rather distraught expression on his face. "Ikoma-san will take good care of you." he assured to Koroshi. "He's a good lad. Do carry the Fortunes, Otomo-san."
