[D10 MM] Before The Storm, Figuratively Speaking

[Matsu Hide]

“Hey now, I wasn’t sayin’ you can’t be a fan of Delinquent Crabs.” Hide put her hands up in mock defensiveness. “Honestly it’s pretty cute how much of a fan you are. They’re lucky.”

[Matsu Eriko]

"The Delinquent Club," Eriko corrected her with a faint smile. "I guess they are pretty lucky to have me, even if I kind of ditched that show on Asakaze for another reason but I guess I could have hatched the alibi-and-sneaking-out plan without being in the audience. The fact that I was there meant I did consider going to that show at the very least. I suppose if it was any other night, I could have considered wrangling some cosplay outfit ."

[Matsu Hide]

“We were not very inconspicuous at the show, not gonna lie.” Hide had to wonder how some of them never got caught. “Waaaaait. Does this mean… We were all being delinquents?!”

[Matsu Eriko]

"No, they did see us there on purpose and then we left coincidentally when everyone's attention was on the climax of the match. They'd ID us there and not sneaking off in the night, it was a pretty good plan." She said confidently on the matter. It was her plan, after all!

She pursed her lip as she got up from the bed and stood up, considering this implication. "...I don't think I'm going to deny that I kind of led you into acting like delinquents but I think no locals got hurt and we did manage to find a maho tsukai who would have otherwise not been found, so it was kind of doing good. So, maybe like one of those delinquent detectives, at worse."

[Matsu Hide]

“Hey nooow, I was just teasing you.” Hide held out her arms in an offer to hug. “I’m sorry if you thought I was implying anything untoward about you. My mouth is kind of stupid sometimes. Like my brain. And sometimes the former acts without permission from the latter.”

[Matsu Eriko]

If Hide was going to offer a hug, Eriko was gladly going to take it. "I'm not upset or anything! I was just going down the path of completely justifying myself. You're good, I know even if your mouth is stupid sometimes, your brain is still very smart," she winked at her and gave her a quick kiss.

[Matsu Hide]

Hide just let the kiss sink in for a moment before clearing her throat. Her face was a bit red from a combination of the closeness and the kiss.

“So… Which of these teas do you like best? There’s an impressive variety that you have here. I usually just keep a couple types.”

[Matsu Eriko]

"I'm a pretty simple girl, thankfully, nothing too fanciful or top self. I usually appreciate something that at least gives me some pep in my step." She smirked as clearly saw the hue on Hide's face. "I think I'm generally a fan of genmaicha, or anything dark otherwise. Coffee is always good too, obviously."

She took a look at her surroundings, giving a glance at the bed behind her. "Aw, well now you have me up and off the bed. Do you think we should just up and go have breakfast? I mean like in person, in the restaurant."

[Matsu Hide]

“I mean, that could also be fun. But it’s up to you… I’m up for whatever.” With there being no coffee, Hide just eyed one of the dark teas and decided to prep two cups of that, since the water was almost ready. “I guess when this is all over, we can just spend a whole day lounging in bed. That sounds like a nice way to spend a day off.”

[Matsu Eriko]

"We're going out for breakfast," Eriko said very decisively on the matter. "I'm already up on my feet and walking around. It looks very much like we're going for breakfast. I just have to hit the shower, get dressed, and do my face...after all that's done, hopefully, it won't be lunch yet and we're going to have some awesome, nice, and very delicious sushi from Funaki's! If there's already a lunch line up by the time we get there, you might have to hold me back because it's not going to be pretty. I might make it on the afternoon papers and all that, you're going to need to call an ambulance...for the people I hurt."

"Only until the bedsores how up! But maybe that'll put me one step closer to running the embassy kitty's approval! Live like a cat for a day, not a bad idea." She smirked.

[Matsu Hide]

“Well, don’t forget your tea while you get ready. You’re gonna need it go keep from committing assault on those people in the hypothetical line.” Hide held out a cup for Eriko, steam rising from it.

“And I do look forward to you having me all to yourself.” She shot her wife a smirk as she raised her brows suggestively.

/fade to breakfast?

[Matsu Eriko]

Eriko took the offered cup from Hide at first and gave her a funny look with a tilt of her head. "Look forward, now? Look forward, nothing! Come here..."

She stepped forward and this time took Hide's hand as she began to drag her off with her.
