The other day he had met that weird Kaiu kid and he had told him about a Kuni being around. So after some correspondence between Jun and some heimin from the Crab embassy, it was arranged that he would be visiting at the hour of the Goat on the 17th day of the month of the Tenth Kami. He liked goats. He liked Kuni too.

Remembering how he stood up Soshi Kazumi that very morning, he made sure to give more precise information about the waste of breath of a servant his Lord had gifted him with, before preparing himself. He cleansed himself, meditate, and prepared some paper wards.

Finally, he went through his wardrobe and choose a black with crimson details kimono. Scorpions and Yogo heraldry details could be noticed. For a mask he opted for a Maw mask, hoping that the Crab would recognize his homage to the skull of the Oni Lord they had defeated multiple times in their glorious history. He double-checked that his pale patches were covered, put Tsuko in his backpack and motioned to Jun to not follow.

He discovered skating when he moved to this poor excuse of a planet. It was one of the few things he really enjoyed.

I am being dramatic. Gotta check if Saiko-chan is free later today.

He was probably near the Crab embasy a little earlier than expected, so he looked for a public display of the hour and once he verified it, he skated around the Crab embassy sometimes to study the lay of the land. As would be expected, getting in or out without them noticing, wouldn't be an easy job.

Finally he said. "Pikahh!!!" and activated one of his paper wards.

He approached the guard and bowed.

"Crab-sama, this one is Yogo Ono and I have an invitation to visit your embassy." He said and presented the printed communication of his servant with the Crab embassy.

Having been asked to return to the embassy for a meeting with an enquiring party, Koyuki would actually arrive just about at the time that Ono strolled up toward the front of the embassy. In her hand, a coffee that she sipped at a bit while curiously gauging the man at the door. A quirk of a brow at the fact he was walking around with a skateboard of all things. Unique as it was, it would of course garner her attention enough to be curious about it.

Strolling up behind him, she gives a brief wave to the individual he was addressing and they nodded to her before turning. Attention gained, she would approach conversationally. "Yogo-sama, you have business here I assume? I can escort you," she says, taking the moment to think, she probably had a few more minutes.

A female had dismissed the guard and offered to escort him. He had zero objections to being escorted, as his quick check, had already confirmed his suspicions that breaking in would suck.

"That would be a pleasure, Crab-sama." He replied and bowed.

"But you have me at a disadvantage. Would you dispel my ignorance by revealing your name, if only so that I know which family founder to praise for producing such a resplesant specimens of a samurai?" He asked and smiled beneath the mask.

Great work on the face paint, I approve. She seems a bit young though.

Narrowing eyes gave the man a renewed measure, briefly. Offering a bow in return, as was only proper.

"Kuni Koyuki, I am serving as an attaché to the staff here at the embassy. I do have a meeting to get to; I must ask we get underway Yogo-sama. What might your business be so I can help you on your way?" she asks, half turning and taking one step toward the main embassy entrance already to inspire a little more of that haste in him. Inflection of her voice remaining that business-like tone, with a little bit of rush mixed in.

Setsu gets a message in his communicator that there's a Scorpion which he mentioned to the staff before that could arrive and the clerks point to where Koyuki went to meet their visitor. Entering the room, the Kaiu provides a bow to the Kuni and another to the Yogo. "Good day to both of you."

Straightforward, but not that bright. Apparently, she was unaware that he was her meeting. He almost chuckled.

That kid is smart. He thought and the kid appeared.

"Good day to both of you."

He returned the bow, of course bowing quite lower.

"Kaiu-sama, blessings of the kami upon you and your's." He returned the greeting.

"I was about to inform Kuni-sama that I am not visiting on business but on an errand of Benten-no-kami." He explained.

"But she seemed unaware of my visit."

"Ahh. I see," she says, looking between the two men. Eyes narrowing slightly at first but a far more charitable interpretation of events taking hold. As she'd suddenly fallen out of favor of being interacted with directly, he must have met his intended recipient. With a bow to Setsu, as was only proper, she takes one step back.

"It would appear fate has brought you to where you need to be. Please, do not allow me to intrude further then. I hope you both enjoy your time together," she says, offering another quick but perfunctory bow, and then turns to walk inside the embassy.

He expected the Kaiu to explain the situation but instead, he just saw the Kuni walking away...

I wonder if that's her real ass He had a strong suspension that the air kami around Lady Kuni would be happy. Beneath his Maw mask, he smiled.

He found himself thinking of the Kuni more than he usually spends on women. His utter boredom at the nonsensical chatter of the Kaiu most definitely was fertile ground for his frivolous thoughts. He decided he needed to leave. He rose and bowed as soon as it was polite.

"Kaiu-sama it was a pleasure. Sadly I must pray soon and skating to the temple takes time." He said apologetically. The Kaiu said something, he didn't respond and left. He was halfway to the entrance when he realized that he could probably find Lady Kuni. He cursed himself for his insistence on not using mobile phones.

Saiko-chan will understand.

"Is Kuni-sama still present in the embassy?" He inquired the first guard he met.

Still just inside the doors, Koyuki hadn't gone far and was actually at the main desk. Guard that Ono asked was likely posted right before those main doors and so he was simply shown in and told to ask within. Once entering he would find her there standing just a few feet away from the reception desk with a densai in hand. Slowly flipping through the information presented on the device with a deal of focus.

She was apparently reading so he waited for her to finish whatever she was doing and recognize him. Of course, he took his time to study the room and count some of the tiles. He was definitely not looking at the Kuni. Not at all. He just waited there.

Taking a minute or two, Koyuki would eventually turn with a sweeping gaze over the space and hand the densai back to the individual sitting at the reception desk. Speaking a few quick words, one of which sounded like a name that was completely unimportant to anyone's ear save for the receptionist who played her last part in this story. Turning to Ono following and approaching a conversational distance.

"I take it you are not here to see Kaui Setsu. Which would mean.." she leads, but seems to offer the space to let him finish.

Dammit, she figured it out! Oh, boy.

He bowed. "Yes, I was mostly interested in meeting you and before you falsely assume that I have any kind of romantic interest in you, I need to inform you that I have no permission to get involved with any non-Scorpion samurai."

With his fingers, he made some weird gang hand signs, One never knows, if buznis has arrived.

"Sadly the reason for my visit is of different nature. I am trying very much to hide my outrage, but I hope that a fellow servant of the kami will understand my feelings. You see, Kuni-sama, I met Kaiu-sama while he was working out in a place known for the activity of gaki and worse. His ignorance was such that he even joked about it. I would have educated him myself, had he not mentioned the presence of a Kuni in the delegation of our esteemed and respectable allies. So I suggested to him to inform you of our exchange and if possible arrange for me to be introduced to you."

He took out his pipe from his left sleeve.

"Is smoking allowed in here?"

Settling down on the back of her foot, Koyuki listens to what Ono has to say. Reading him as much as she's gathering an understanding of what he's saying. When he digs for his pipe she takes a quick moment to reach over toward the reception counter where she left her coffee and return it to hand. Sipping at it while she nods the affirmation first, "Feel free, Yogo-sama."

"I am following you so far, Yogo-sama. Not that I am quite certain what you are looking for exactly but maybe that's best for somewhere not in the lobby. Care to follow me?" she asks, and directs the way toward the common room.

Should he accept, she'll start walking to lead him there while giving him free reign to continue as he wishes.

"Of course." He responded and followed her along as he prepared his pipe.

His eyes were anywhere but on his pipe. He studied the space, looked for windows, created mental adventures to facilitate his memory all that while preparing the pipe and following the Kuni. He waited for her to select where they would sit and tried to act normal.

Does her silence on the matter imply a lack of understanding?

"So now that we have both followed each other, where did I stop making sense?"

Having been lead to the common room, where the pangolins were kept and comfortable seating was abundant. Koyuki gestures for him to claim a seat and then takes one herself. A film of professional demeanor facing forward she thinks for a moment, not offering rushes words.

"You did not stop making sense. I am only asking you what it is that you want me to do. Exactly. I only know so much about this situation and could not hope to explain what it is about it that you might be seeking for me to explain to him?" she asks.

He was unable to understand her. He lit up his pipe m.

"Do you partake?" He suggested and offered the pipe to the Crab.

"I am not sure how to politely state it." He begun.

"Unless.... You are a servant of the Kami, ain't you?"

"Some things cannot be politely stated, Yogo-sama," she says, with that directness to her tone. Glancing to the offered pipe she simply shakes her head. Coffee still to hand, she takes a sip of that instead. Closing her eyes for a moment she calls no attention to the intentional calming breath through her nostrils.

"Please state it plainly. I do not wish to partake in the cat and mouse game to find the answer," she says, and though the words are certainly harsh there is no edge to her tone. Just a woman who earnestly didn't wanna dance around when they could just talk.

"Your attitude is pleasant." He replied.

"I felt that I should inform you about the ignorance of Kaiu-sama. I didn't want to imply some lack of interest on your behalf or any other shortcoming. I just felt that I should inform you and check to what extent he would have acted as advised." He finally talked straight.

"As for your question, I don't want you to do anything. I am confident that your sensei has taught you anything you needed on the subject and implying otherwise is something I wouldn't do."

Koyuki glances over the man, gaining his measure in that moment. Letting it sit with her before finally offering a quick shrug, "Thank you for offering me this information Yogo-sama. You have my apologies for assuming that it was something offered with the insistence of a particular action. Not being the case, all that remains is my thanks," she offers, and dips her head in a perfunctory manner.

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Well, we could scheme together in the spirit of the Alliance of Claws." He responded and puffed his pipe.

"Or we could gossip for a bit, you know. We are here, what needed to be done is done. Surprisingly till now this has gone much better than members of my family are used to, so why don't we make the most of it?" He suggested.
