[D7 EA] Measurements for a friend!

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata was pointing at the screen which had a picture of Yuji with wife and kids, but he was staring at Sakura wide eyed and actually considering what she said.

"Oh, I meant Susumu-samaaa . . . but Yuta-kun couldn't have kids . . . could he?"

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Oh, oh, I see. Oh wow, his wife is cute too." She nodded vigoroously.

"Oh...I don't think so...I mean, you are pretty close...unless he's hiding them? Does he disappear on occasion with weird explanations?"

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata blinked and then concentrated. Hard. There might have been a burning smell . . .

Finally he came up with the answer.

"No . . . he doesn't."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Ah, okay. No secret kids then. Probably." Sakura nodded and smiled, satisfied at having solved the mystery.

"Besides, you are all too young a bit for family, neh?"

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh we're all nineteen. Being the same age was one of Doji-samaaa's requirements when he recruited us."

He accidentally deleted part of the search terms and the screen was flooded with pictures of Yakumo and those horrid rumours about her.

"Oh ugh, Naz-kun is going to go spare when he sees this."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Oh? He must be fond of Susumu-sama then, to be so angry over these clearly false allegations." She smiled and nodded with the joy of the ignorant.

[Asahina Hinata]

"They're always talking about each other. They must really like each other."

He sighed.

"Like Naz-kun always finds news about Yakumo-samaa before the rest of us spot it and he's always so heated about it."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Sounds like very good friends then." She nodded. "And I see Susumu-sama and Asahina-sama are also close friends? Maybe Susumu-sama likes all of the Usagi Drop group? It's hard not to like you all, after all."

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oh she likes me, not like-likes me. Same the other way around. . . . Wait no! . . . No, Yes! . . . I think."

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Is there...anyone Asahina-sama like-likes?" She asked in a sing-song voice.

"Oh I'm not supposed to tell you that!"

He covered his mouth.

"Not even the other Drop! boys know that and we share nearly everything!"

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Ah, gomenasai! I do not mean to get Asahina-sama into any trouble!" SHe glanced at the machine, still puttering.

There may have been smoke, and a keening sound.

"Is...it supposed to do that?"

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata stared.

" . . . mayyyybeeeeeee."

He got up and pressed the first button he reached.

It beeped.

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura watched as after the beepo, the colors on the screen turned from blue to....yellow.

"Wow, Asahina-sama is such an expert."

Hinata grinned, having absolutely no idea what he just did.

"Errrr where did you put Manual-san, Hotaru-samaaaa?"

Sakura looked around. "Erm....I'm not sure?" Uh-oh.

Hinata looked at Sakura, eyes widening.

"Oh no."

There was a panicked search and a flurry of fabric before Hinata finally found the book by tripping over the corner of it sticking out from under a chair.

"ACK!!!!!"

Sakura jumped to help Hinata!

And by help, we mean trip in the same manual and fall on top of him.

"Ackack!!"

[Asahina Hinata]

"Oooof!!!!"

The little Asahina was not strong enough to throw Sakura off and totally winded by his own fall and then her fall on top of him.

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Gooomenasaaaai Asahinaaaataaa-saamaaaaa!"

Sakura tried to apologize to Hinata.
She also tried to roll off.
Presumebly, she also wanted to bow.

Doing all 3 at once, was not a successful attempt. Luckily her elbows did not mash any faces. Ideally.
