[D11 LE] To The Victors

[Matsu Eriko]

Hide looked to the hungry ronin and quickly grabbed a bowl of what looked to be some baked shrimp chips. “Yurei-san, want some snacks?”

Of course, Hide got a bit distracted by Eriko as she entered the room.

Eriko made her way over to Hide with a smirk. "Figures everyone is making themselves home already with you around. This was very much your idea and it's a good one!"

"Hey, everyone!" She called out to the room at large. "Don't be shy about drinking or eating anything here. We have what's at the minibar but we brought a few of our things too. Room service costs an arm and a leg around here, so yeah...we don't have room at home to bring anything back too. So go nuts! Okay, not too nuts, the room needs to be perfect."

[Kuni Koyuki]

First up, Koyuki makes a rather particular drink over at the mini-bar. One that she doesn't add ice to right away, and leaves it to sit for a moment. Anyone coming anywhere even near the mini-bar gets a death glare should they think about touching it. Next up, she pulls over the sake she'd brought and a bit of shochu that was available. Two drinks. First, the shochu, one part five she puts it together with a peach sodawater. Next up, is something similarly a bit easy to put together. One part sake to four parts orange juice which is a bit more than usual but she uses the extra to flavor out the harshness of Kuni sake she'd brought.

With her two lovely little creations put together, she pokes her head into the conversation of Rei and Reki just as Eriko is announcing they have free reigh. Which was good considering she already made herself right at home and maybe feeling a bit too comfortable just taking stuff. She doesn't intrude, but silently offers Reki the sake and Rei the shochu.

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura arrived a bit late and perhaps a tad

overdressed

? Besides the new dress, she also wore heavy golden make up on her lips and eyes, reminsienct of a certain Mantis.

Still, this was a party, neh?!

She waved at everyone, and seeing Yurei, immediately skipped next to her, leaning to place a small peck on Yurei's face if allowed.

"Hello minnasamaa! Sorry for being late! Getting ready took longer than expected."

Yūrei pauses with her mouth stuffed full of chips as Sakura kisses her on the cheek.

"Mmwhmm!"
There's a crunch and a laborous swallow.
"I mean, hey babe! All that getting ready was worth it."

"Real worth it." Without looking away she offers the mostly empty ball
"Chips?"

"Shot...a lot of people? Also a slaughter demon? It was a wild night, I can see why you stopped working the desolation so much. But everyone made it out again and it doesn't get much better than that."

[Miya Nishida]

Nishida arived a bit late to the party, he had some business to do eforehand, but now he was here, "Greetings, minna-san" he gretted everyone in the room, "I see that everyone is still in one piece?"

Rei put his habitual flirting on pause for a moment, turning to Koyuki. His eyebrows went up as he accepted the drink. "Hey, thanks, Kuni-san." He lifted the glass to her in a sort of cheer, then brought it to his lips for a tiny sip. Eyebrows went up again in pleased surprise. "Very well done. Where'd you learn to make drinks like this?"

Then Rei looked at Koyuki, tilting his head as he regarded her. "What are you drinking tonight?"

He turned to bow and wave as the newcomers arrived, giving a brief grin as Sakura and Yurei seemed to be official. Yeah, he shipped it.

"Kuni-sama!!! If you feel you still owe me, then how about two...make that three drinks perhaps? " She waved at Nishida "Miya-sama, welcome, welcome! I think we are far too sober so far."

She turned her back to the Kuni to wink at Yurei. "My GIRLFRIEND said she's not willing to dance with me until she gets some more booze in her. Willing to help a girl out Kuni-sama?"

[Akodo Reki]

The ears provided such interesting cues as to what was going on in the mind of the otherwise composed Akodo. Normally Rei thought of her as attractive rather than cute, but... "Mmm." He murmured sympathetically. "Yes. Work. I had to deal with that, too. I hope yours went alright?"

Rei took a deep breath, tilting his head to regard Reki with a smirk of his own. "I very much do think they're fun... Akodo-sama." He said, looking at her. "But I'll admit it feels a little unfair. I get a clue as to what you're thinking... but can you tell what I'm thinking?" His eyebrows went up, just a little.

Reki blinked at that, the cat ears whirred and flicked in a confused or quizzical gesture. Then they shot straight up and the Lioness actually blushed, the two cat ears laid flat against her head and she looked off to the side. "Oh...I hadn't considered they might do that..." The ears popped back and she straightened her dress. "But...I hardly need a pair faux rabbit ears to divine your thoughts Hare-san." She smirked.

Further comment was interrupted when Koyuki offered her the drink, "Oh...ah...thank you, Kuni-san." She smiled warmly at the Crab. Waving at the power couple in the room, "Ah Matsu-sans, thank you for this again! Let me know if you need help with cleanup. Usagi-san and I would be happy to help." Yes she had just volunteered the rabbit, no she didn't feel bad about it.

Her eyes shifted to the new arrivals, "Hotaru-san," She gave the Firefly a nod. "...Miya-sama." Reki didn't know the man, but she had been around enough Imperials to not try to offend one.

She quickly made her way to a side closet and pulled out a karaoke machine she rented from the hotel. "This."

Eriko found herself glancing to Hide a few times when Sakura joined the party and got rather friendly with Yurei. Wait, were they an item this entire time? She supposed she didn't get to know them very well but it would explain why she was so protective...

"What?! Oh no...Only because you've beaten me to the punch! I was trying to wrangle a loan from my cousin Sango but it looks like you got one already. Well, this one will do. I honestly thought something was missing around here. If it were up to me, we would have started the Lion meeting with this." She grinned as she went to help herself to something to drink. There was a glance given to Yurei with the chips, she wasn't going to eat everything, right?

Rei chuckled, shaking his head. "Sure. I'll help with clean-up. Of course." He gave Reki a wry smile.

His attention was drawn by Sakura and Yurei's antics until it was drawn by the sudden appearance of the karaoke machine. Rei grinned... but then his grin slipped, his expression turning strange. He covered it was a drink from his glass.

"I'll just watch and listen, if that's alright." Rei said, lowering his glass.

She took a sip of the drink and blinked. Orange juice and beneath it something with bite. Real bite.

Yūrei grins at the karaoke machine before looking back at Sakura with a glint in her eye.

"I think I know just the way to make some noise. Time to turns things up a notch. Also maybe get a noise complaint from the neighbors."
