Shigure decided to get some practice with the bow he won on the arcade. It was small and the arrows would probably poke an eye out if not properly aimed. The Morumoto shot his arrows between some of the branches and the weight was slightly off but not by much sometimes he hit the branches sometimes it went between them. When he ran out of arrows, he would go and retrieve them just to start again.

Not too far away, a monk strolled the grove, enjoying the morning air. When he saw the dragon archer he changed his path in order to avoid ending up in the way of the arrows. It would be rude to prevent them from getting where they are going after all. When he was close enough, he greeted the Mirumoto with a bow. "Good morning. Lovely day for that it seems. Not too windy."

"The weather is good for many things... if it keeps heating up probably for a swim." The Mirumoto commented. "Good morning monk sama. I am Mirumoto Shigure." He lowered his bow. "What brings you to these parts?"

"Oh, it's just my daily hour-long wander to see if I stumble on enlightenment walk. Most monks do them," he playfully jokes. "And I've found someone practicing some old school archery. Not something I've gotten to see that often."

"Ah... well l hope to be somewhat helpful in your path." The Mirumoto gave a small bow. He looked at his toy bow and chuckled. "Old school might teach a thing or two. My school ancestry was archers using such rustic weapon. I may have an advantage while hunting unarmored prey. The silent arrow would not scare them if I was to miss."

"I imagine that depends on how much you miss by. Even if it's pretty quiet, if the arrow lands at the prey's feet they'll probably flee just the same. Also, this one is Taiguno, devotee of Uzuki the Immaculate," he says with a bow. "Since she's the fortune of perfection, I am curious what a perfect shot would look like. Is there anything on the subject of the perfect shot in the lore of archery?"

"The perfect shot is the one that achieves your goal." He nodded. "Perfection is quite like enlightment if you seek it you will never find it."

"Well, the likelihood of getting there is infinitely small and vanishing, but not exactly zero," he replies with a chuckle. "But then, it's only nearly impossible with objective, quantifiable perfection. Doesn't prevent todays weather from being perfect for my preferences."

"That is good to know. One can find perfection on just the simple things... like you have with this weather. I have found a nice spot to play with this bow."

Taiguno smiles at that. "So, you are trained to use traditional archery then? Is that common in your school?"

"It was the base of our traditional school as modern things came about seem people like the new weapons... no is not really common... but I find it sometimes cathatic... a form of de-stress." Shigure smiled at the toy. "Even if this is a simple toy I find enjoyment in practicing with it."

"Well, you can probably imagine I tend to favor more traditional pursuits as well. Something about monasteries and asceticism," the monk replies with a chuckle. "But then, if you ever find yourself needing to survive without modern comforts it's useful to have such knowledge."
