[D2, LM] Lamentations in The Woods (Open)

[Kaiu Setsu]

Back on his daily trining to get back into a shape he never really had, Setsu returns to the woods to train. Opening his personal trainer fitness app, the Crab resumes the series of the Berserker Training Drills that promised him to get ripped in a matter of moths. With each burpee, there's a cry of lamentation from the office tanned Kaiu.

At a point, he simply loses all the strength in his limps and stays there, kissing the dirt to regain some breath.

[Yogo Ono]

Ono was strolling around the New Grove before going to the clan thing he had for later. He had occasionally run on ghosts there and it was usually refreshing to speak with people not tainted by the unnatural obsession with technology like his contemporaries. In any case, his presence in the New Grove was normal, contrary to that poor Crab, who apparently chose the wrong park for training. He chuckled and tried to approach him and couldn't help but laugh as he saw him falling. Momentary he regretted ordering Jun to stay outside, but then he reminded himself that it would be blasphemous.

Once he stopped laughing he asked for the assistance of the kami. He remained a Scorpion Priest, but his skin didn't have discoloration and he looked younger. Then he approached the Crab and waited to see if he was still alive.

[Kaiu Setsu]

Some signs of life can be seen as a puff of dirt comes out from his face at the floor. Setsu notices the approach and resumes his workout as if getting into the floor was part of the burpee movement –– which could have been, if one had some odd training method. "Huff. Nineteen."

He repeats and finishes, "Huuuurrr. Twenty!"

With a sigh of relieve, the Kaiu dusts off his training shirt and looks at the young samurai, greeting. "Good day for training, isn't it? Just finished one of my routines."

[Yogo Ono]

He bowed to the Crab.

"Blessings upon you and yours, Kaiu-sama." He returned the greeting and offered a small bow.

"This one is Yogo Ono, a servant of the kami. I hope the ghosts didn't bother you during your routine."

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Honor to meet you, Yogo-san." He says, still maintaining a stoic pose –– to visually support he was doing some exercise. "Kaiu Setsu, Chief Engineer at Kaiu Heavy Industries."

He follows that with a bow, then takes a look around, saying, "The opposite. The ghosts are helpful."

[Yogo Ono]

"Are they know?" The Crab's answer seemed to have picked his interest.

"Any particular ghost or in general?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

“In general. I mean. First, they cover up any whimsy noise I might make while exercising.” He chuckles and then rubs his chin. “Also, my training requires me to be at very potentially dangerous and terrorizing locations.”

[Yogo Ono]

"In that case you might want to try out the Desolation." He suggested.

"You would need some paperwork done, but nothing that a Crab wouldn't inflict to anyone wanting to pass through the Wall." He added.

[Kaiu Setsu]

“I am pretty sure permit to enter the area is forbidden. Specially to non-Scorpion. Is it not?” The Crabs rubs his chin, knowing perfectly well that entrance could be achieved with questionable methods.

[Yogo Ono]

"As were permits to cross the Wall." He agreed.

[Kaiu Setsu]

“Not really. There were indeed special moments that such permits were granted. Specially during the winter.” Setsu mentions as he starts to flex his brain muscles, “I would be honored if my Clan permits me to adventure there to train, and that the Scorpion agrees to it. Highly unlikely to happen. My work as engineer is definitely more valuable than my training choice for location, I am pretty sure.”

A chuckle and Setsu adds, “It is a good tip, though. Have you ever been there?”

[Yogo Ono]

"For the sake of your honor, I will ignore that question." He said and approached him.

"Shall we walk?" He suggested.

"I could put a word to my Clan, if you are interested of course. But I would advise you to consult with any member of the Kuni family, that you trust, before deciding that."

[Kaiu Setsu]

The Crab raises an eyebrow at the mention of protecting his honor by Scorpion ally. Not finding offense, he shrugs and follows the man. “Sure. I could make use of a break by now.”

He dits off his t-shirt once more and mentions, “I confess I have the curiosity to visit the place, but wouldn’t bother an ally to search for it since it is just a personal thing, and not a Clan necessity. Interesting enough, there’s a Kuni staying at the Embassy with me.”

[Yogo Ono]

"There you have it then. I am sure that you will find there the best possible assistance." He smiled.

"Obviously I would appreciate it if you could relay my regards to the fellow servant of the kami."

[Kaiu Setsu]

“Of course. You should come for a cup of coffee, tea or something.” He says without much formality, “Crab and Scorpion after all, neighbors and buddies.”

[Yogo Ono]

"Exactly." He agreed.

"I expect some serious praying to Bishamon-no-kami over sake." He clarified, since he would prefer the Crab understood that he felt that tea was cool only when socializing with clans with avian motifs.

"You have previous experience with my family?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

Setsu nods with confidence. "No. Never had experiences with the Yogo."

"Sake, though."

[Yogo Ono]

He smiled.

"We are a strange lot." He commented. "But we tend to create quite an impression. I hope that I do honor my illustrious ancestors."

"What about you, Kaiu-sama. What aspires you?"

[Kaiu Setsu]

"Strange is often quite interesting." Setsu mentions, trying not to be that rude, "In that, Yogo-san does indeed honor the ancestors."

At the question, he takes a sigh and nods, "Breakthroughs. Personal and technological. That aspires me."

[Yogo Ono]

"Thank you Kaiu-sama, your compliment is received in the manner it was offered." He responded, but he tensed as he heard him bringing technology into the otherwise sufferable discourse.

"Breakthroughs are a noble goal." He agreed. "But I dislike technology. I suppose, you will be able to ignore that, as I ignore your fondness for it." He suggested.
