It had been a singularly....compex day so far. Yamako felt the tension she used to feel on New Kalani beginning to build and all of Noburu's sweet comms weren't making it go away sadly. So, she turned to a time honored habit to try to take her out of her mind.

A drink and a dance. Thankfully, the Wasp seemed to have some partiers who were still going from the night before, so it wasn't sparse and she could enjoy herself and let the music flow through her. Hopefully this would be just the right thing to get her back on track.

After arriving at the Wasp he went directly to the bar. It let him take a look around the place after a few weeks away. He was smartly dressed in a well-tailored suit that bridged the gap between fashionable and business-friendly.

Katsutoshi spotted the Ide in the crowd just before he was about to order. He was pretty sure she fit the description he had been given so he approached and offered a polite bow before extending his hand.

"Ide-sama, right? I'm Hotaru Katsutoshi. I spoke to someone at your embassy about arranging a meeting? I was hoping we might have a chance to meet up soon! Would you care for a drink?"

Her face was relaxed briefly, clearly enraptured in the music. The moment she heard embassy, her courtier mind snapped back into place. “Ahh. I am sorry, I just not have heard my comm over the music. Yes, of course. Hotaru-San, I would be glad to have a drink.”

She moves away from the crowd, heading back towards the bar, waiting on him if he pauses.

The Firefly paused a moment. "We can dance first if you're into the music? I'm easy, and there's no rush!" A small smile played across his face.

"I'm sure this song was playing on Moshi Moshi Super Sunrise Dancing Inferno last night. It was Turbo ticket night and I'm a bit of a sucker for games." He gave a little laugh and let her choose what they should do.

She smiled. “Ahh I missed out on the arcade. Too much work these days. But I wouldn’t mind a dance, long as we can get to business after?” She said with a slightly raised brow.

The Firefly smiled. "Well my balance isn't what it used to be... So, one song? Then I'll get those drinks and we can talk trade!" He seemed pretty enthusiastic about all of those things and moved over towards the main dance floor. He was pretty good at judging the mood and his dancing wasn't too terrible.

She laughed, throwing her head back. “Sounds good fly boy. Let’s dance.”

Her moves aren’t bad but she’s clearly a little rusty. Still enthusiasm does a lot.

Managing not to embarrass himself too much Katsutoshi had fun feeling the rhythm. It definitely sounded different to shipboard music. Less engine noise for a start. With a grin he pointed back at the bar. "Okay, now that was a good way to start a business meeting. Drink?"

She laughed, a little of her lighter self showing through. "Yes, please. I haven't danced in ages. Its good to get the blood flowing so the mind can get going." She let him lead the way.

"Healthy body, healthy mind. Too true!" Once they reached the bar he asked what she was in the mood for and ordered their drinks.

"I'd better keep it light. I'm playing in that card game tournament later... Fantasy Flight, maybe you've heard of it?" When their drinks came he passed Yamako's along and then turned to look for a table.

"I do like this place. Saw some music hee a couple of months back. Nothing like it where I'm from of course." Where he was from there would be a constant drone of engine noise in the background, or life support.

“You live on board a ship mostly yes? I met another of your clan a year ago and he spoke of it.” She took a sip of her drink and smiled.

“Must be nice to get some fresh air.”
