[Bayushi Senshuken]

Classic Tamiyo. She asks a question showing that she actually cares for a conversation only to leave her hanging. Ok, ok. There is a bit of bitterness and inaccuracy in this thought, but only a tiny bit.

Senshuken waves hello to the Spider, the Hare and eventually the Crane.

"Yes, a local. Almost."

"Yes, the three of you should have a photo together."

She throws some random answers and comments while taking a more thorough look around her for potential vict... err, targ... errr, dance partners! The Usagi is really good looking, but the Asahina is so short that it makes her heart bleed from cuteness. She definitely has a thing for shorties. And there is the Otomo nearby of course. Funny and stylish at the same time.

Choices. Impossible ones!

She decides to attempt to explore all of them. "Asahina san, the dancefloor awaits for your moves." She urges him once the photo is taken. "I'll join you if you join me!" Whaaaat? Not her best line admittedly, but who cares. Hopefully not the Crane.

[Yogo Tamiyo]

"Yay, picture time! Thanks you two, really appreciate it!"

She hands off her device to the volunteering Usagi and takes up her position (and most kawaii pose).

"Arigato, mina-sama! And now, if you'll excuse I'll go make arrangements for playing my newest track!"

The next line is delivered while channeling every high school anime ever, complete with clenched fist:

"Even if you haven't yet, I'll make you notice me, sempai!"

The wink and friendly grin that follows means it was in jest, and with that the colorful Scorpion is off in the direction of the dj booth...

[Hotaru Sakura]

Another figure entered the fray!

Oh wow, what a tumult! Sakura had her first free night in a long while, so decided to take a look at the Wicked Wasp, and she saw some familiar figures. Well, one figure familiar from life, and a few others from magazines.

Is that...Yogo Tamiyo? And Hinata of Usagi Drop?! And...Susumu Yakumo?!

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

"H-hello...Usagi-sama." She greeted Rei weakly.

[Usagi Rei]

Smiling, Rei snapped a few photos of the famous group, with Tamiyo's device, his own, and any other that was handed to him. "I'm sure you will." Rei murmured, smiling, to the Scorpion idol, passing her device back to her as she made her departure, as sudden and dramatic as her entrance had been. Rei chuckled, shaking his head as the other Scorpion teen asked Hinata to dance. Ah, the energy of youth.

Hearing a familiar voice, Rei glanced over, smiling again when he spotted Sakura. "Oh. Hey, Hotaru-san. How's it going?"

Noticing her apparent nervousness, Rei's smile widened, just a little bit. "I was just enjoying a drink with some pop-stars. You know how it is." He took a slow sip of his drink. Set it down. Sighed pleasantly.

"Would you like me to introduce you?" He finally asked.

[Hotaru Sakura]

Sakura nervously nodded, holding her arms, hugging herself.

Usagi-sama is so cooooooooooool.

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata poses appropriately for the photo op, ie overly kawaii pose to match Tamiya's.

Luckily for the Usagi he had been dragging to the dancefloor, Hinata was facing the other way at present and the previous thoughts had been swept away by the photo op excitement. A moment or two looking blank as he tried to remember and then he was back to cheerful all smiles.

"Aww can't have been important. Let's dance!! Do you know the Bunny Victory Jive from Inu Tai?????"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshuken laughs. "I have zero idea what language you are speaking. Probably cutish. Worry not. I'm a fast learner!"

[Asahina Hinata]

"Aww c'mon, I'll show you!"

The dash to the dance floor was short and Hinata judged the current music to have a fast enough tempo for the dance he'd mentioned. Which was very fast and high tempo but he launched into it without a second thought, putting on his Stage Face while all brain power went into keeping the step sequence and arm movements going correctly.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Senshuken has no problem with the fast tempo. Speed is everything. Speed is life. Thank the kami that she is agile enough to, at least, try to do the right steps.

"Awesome!" She exclaims from time to time. Truly exhilarating! Thankfully her mask mostly covers her pink by now cheeks.

[Susumu Yakumo]

Posing for the picture, Yakumo was of course standing behind the much shorter people... which let her hold up her hand to make bunny ears behind Hinata's head. It would look great for a photo, Hinata would love it, and a certain other Usagi Drop! boy would flip his lid - in other words, it was perfect.

"It was my pleasure," she managed to squeeze in before the everyone dispersed again. Tamiyo's "notice me senpai"-line got a good chuckle out of her and she gave the girl a wave, then returned to her drink. She was in fact waiting with some excitement to hear what sort of music this girl made.

She and Hinata seem to be on the same wavelength at least, Yakumo thought with a touch of wistfulness, finding herself again the odd one out. Something she was used to from her years with the Crane.

[Usagi Rei]

Sakura nervously nodded, holding her arms, hugging herself.

Usagi-sama is so cooooooooooool.

Rei nodded. "Alright." He glanced quickly around. Tamiyo had zoomed off already, and Hinata had been dragged off by the second teen Scorpion. Come to think of it, she'd also looked familiar...

Shaking his head, Rei stood, stepping closer to Yakumo. "Susumu-san, allow me to introduce Hotaru Sakura-san, a coworker of mine from the embassy." Different clans, of course, the the MCA had a lot of overlap. He turned back. "Hotaru-san... this is Susumu Yakumo-san." Rei kept his casual smile throughout, still holding his drink in his hand.

[Hotaru Sakura]

"Susumu-sama...it's an honor!! I'm a huge fan of yours!" She seemed to be shaking like a hummingbird. "I didn't know you knew Usagi-sama! He's so much cooler now!"

[Asahina Hinata]

Placing her glass down again, Yakumo inclined her head to the Firefly girl. "Thank you. I'm flattered, Hotaru-san. You're a friend of Usagi-san?" she asked, glancing between the two Minor Clanners. He'd said they worked at the embassy together, but perhaps it was more than just coworkers.

Placing her glass down again, Yakumo inclined her head to the Firefly girl. "Thank you. I'm flattered, Hotaru-san. You're a friend of Usagi-san?" she asked, glancing between the two Minor Clanners. He'd said they worked at the embassy together, but perhaps it was more than just coworkers.

"Ano...I don't know...Usagi-sama is certainly a friend of mine. He has been kind since I...I joined my clan, I guess." She suddenly opened her purse, filtering through everything that was in there.

"If you don't mind Susumu-sama...I might have something here that you can autograph perhaps? If..I'm not too forward."

[Usagi Rei]

Rei was content to sit back and drink, doing his best to display the cool that he'd apparently earned. Wasn't he already cool, though?

"As you can see, Susumu-san-" Rei flashed her a wry smile. "Lots of fans on World of Dreams." He let it lie there, taking another sip.

[Yogo Tamiyo]

In the meantime a lot of Tamiyo's fans managed to gain entrance into the club, easily recognizable by the kawaii-style street fashion they share with their idol.

And finally it happens! The lights and sound cut out while the dj Stingface makes an announcement.

"Heya boys and girls, men and women and everyone in between! Tonight we can treat you to a surprise: our very own home-grown Queen of Kawaii has graciously offered to perform for us!! Everyone, here she is, put your hands together for Yogo TAMIYOOOOOO"

The spots light up on the Scorpion idol holding a microphone who bows deeply.

"Welcome, my Bakemonoko, and of course all you other guests. I just had to share this new release with you all, which I'll be performing here for the first time! Please forgive me honored management, but sometimes I can be so impatient and impulsive!" She shares a wink and mischievous smile with the audience. "Please feel free to make lots of pictures and videos and share them on social media to create hype for my new work so my bosses won't be too angry!!

Now, with lots of love me for all the wonderful people here, my 'Ninja Re Bang Bang' in the Shinjo Aoki remix!!"

The music kicks in and it's her classic, bubbly and upbeat synthpop, but now more up-tempo and with Aoki's unmistakeable touch. And she is totally on fire, giving it her all in a high energy performance which manages to enthral even without her usual backing show.

A clearly ecstatic Tamiyo takes her bow as she basks in the loud applause. "Thank you, mina-sama! Hope you enjoyed it!", followed by another of her impish smiles. "Sempai, did you notice me?"

"Music and dance are..." Universal she was going to say when Tamiyo gets on stage. "Oh, the city has a soft spot for TamTam. Let's try her choreography!"

"Oh, not too forward at all. I'd be happy to." It was more or less being on auto-pilot with this. Smile, be happy, accomodate the fans. She did adore her public though. Her darling fans. So as Hotaru brought out something to sign and a pen, Yakumo put down her name in ink.

"Oh, it seems we're being treated to some local music now!" She would of course give her attention to a performing artist. Professional courtesy and all that, but it was important to stay on the pulse of what was popular. In her eyes, it was a spirited performance with good energy, but lacking in that exceptional polish she had become accustomed to.

But the girl deserved applause and a thumbs up. Which was about all she could do from across the room.

Unlike certain members of Usagi Drop!, Naz-kun, Hinata was more than willing to dance along to someone else live and even try their moves.

And enjoy himself at the same time.
