[D1MN] Night Court? (open)

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi raised a drink back to the Hare when greeted. Kazumi may have invited him over were he not seemingly continuously and interestingly occupied. First a Kuni and a Lion who quickly left to be replaced by a Crane and then a Spider. Shame. He was pretty cute but he seemed to have eyes for the Spider, though no one could blame him. Tall and dangerous looking in her own delicate way.

It was an interesting night in the Wicked Wasp. Not one but two Galactic superstars sharing a drink with a minor clan samurai. There would surely be paparazzi around if word strayed too far. Actually, three. Kazumi was certain they had spied a Yogo with a certain amount of budding star power around as well.

Who needed holos when life on World of Dreams was this star studded and interesting. For now the dark, intelligent eyes remained on the room watching the people partying with a detached interest. Kazumi had no official status here but they did think of it a bit like their den.

The performer kept distance for now but maintained an air that said should someone approach the table they wouldn't be turned away.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Senchuchan!!" Tamiyo bounds over to her Bayushi friend. "Been too long! How you been? Love the look, suits you!"

She does a little pirouette so the other Scorpion can take in her own outfit as well, before producing a dataslate.

"Guess what I have here?" The Yogo girl smiles mysteriously and continues before waiting for an answer. "It's the recording of a colab I did with Shinjo Aoki. I know, right, Shinjo Aoki! He remixed one of my songs for the Ninjala game!!" The smile turns into a mischievous grin and gestures towards the dj booth. "Hasn't been released yet, so how about we make this an exclusive event and I post that I let the DJ play it in about an hour?

Should have the place packed and hopping, no?"

The Bayushi smiles broadly upon seeing her friend, a fact that is evident even behind her mask. "Fabulous as ever, TamTam chan!" She exclaims. "A lot of new faces tonight, no? Make your post and let's grab a drink and take a look around. Who's on the decks? Do you know them?"

[Yogo Tamiyo]

The Bayushi smiles broadly upon seeing her friend, a fact that is evident even behind her mask. "Fabulous as ever, TamTam chan!" She exclaims. "A lot of new faces tonight, no? Make your post and let's grab a drink and take a look around. Who's on the decks? Do you know them?"

"Right! Wait, come here, selfie time!"

Which obviously gets posted, together with the announcement of this night's exclusive. Hey there my beloved Bakemonoko! Have I got a treat for you tonight! I'm @ the Wicked Wasp with my bestie Sensuchan. Join us asap cuz I'll be dropping something new and unreleased in an hour and you get to dance to it for the first time together with little old me!! Tamiyo glances at the dj booth. "Oh, that's Stingface, the regular of the house, I'm sure he's game!" There's another grin. "I'm really happy about this remix turned out and so looking forward to how the crowd will react. But yeah, could use a drink." She gives her friend a friendly bump as they make their way to the bar. "You've been hot on the track lately, haven't you? Going for the big prize this year, neh?"

[Bayushi Senshuken]

That's what she said.

"Do I have to wait for an hour before listening to the remix? I'm not good at waiting. Not good at all!" She protests after checking the Yogo's post. Thank the kami she looks more than fine at that photo.

Bikers, drivers, pilots, cyclists and runners assemble! This girl knows how to make your heart race! The first to arrive might get to ride with me in my new Bayushi Ironworks T750. If I like them enough She comments and shares the selfie.

"There, there." She orders sake with RedBoar on the rocks and smiles broadly once again. "Thank you for noticing it! I'm doing really well, but the press is hitting me really bad. Crushing is part of racing, but obviously I, and no one else, am reckless and irresponsible. And now I find myself with court duties because my public image needs rebranding. Ugh!"

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata finished his drink for the toast, once again almost putting the plastic Shimmerwing up his nose in the process. Judging by the colour and consistency it had probably had a decent dose of sugar in it, and it was a bright eyed Crane that put the empty glass on the bar counter and then pointed at Yakumo and Rei.

[Usagi Rei]

Hinata finished his drink for the toast, once again almost putting the plastic Shimmerwing up his nose in the process. Yep, he saw it coming. Smiling, Rei held up his freshly poured drink.

"I would, but, ah, fresh drink." He said, giving it a bit of a waggle. Rei had a carefully cultivated image. Awkwardly shuffling didn't quite fit it. Flailing about like a weirdo definitely didn't fit it. Those described his two real moves. Well... just about, anyway.

"You two go ahead." He said.

[Asahina Hinata]

"Awwwwww, Usagi-sama! I was going to do the Bunny Victory Jive from Inu Tai with you!!!!!"

Which was a very energetic dance that would definitely qualify as flailing about for the untrained. Hinata tried the big eyes technique.

"Pleasssssssssse!"

[Usagi Rei]

Darn it, Airi used the same move on Rei, and it tended to work then, too. In some ways, the extended pleasssssssssse was sorta like her hiss. "Hrng..." Rei grimaced...

He looked at Yakumo. "What about you. You in?" He asked, flashing a charming smile... his eyes just a little wide. With two pop-stars for cover, with any luck, he'd just be a faint grey blur in the background...

[Susumu Yakumo]

Yakumo giggled watching the interaction, and as the question was directed at her, she bought herself some more time with taking a sip. "Eh, we can always get fresh drinks when we came back. My treat."

Even she had the mind to not drink open beverages that had been left unattended. Never knew when there would be creeps about, doubly so for a world that doubled as a hive of scum and villainy.

Another sip, and she placed the glass down on the counter. "Let's see if Usagi-san has been watching cartoons in his morning hours, hm?" she said with a teasing smirk.

[Asahina Hinata]

Hinata did not need any more encouragement and with a wiggle of silver clad hips was already on his way to the dancefloor, and soon synched himself up with the music moving like an absolute lifelong dancer.

[Yogo Tamiyo]

"Senshuchan, look! That's Asahina Hinata from Usagi Drop! And Susumu Yakumo!" There's another bright grin. "Let's go and say hi!"

She grabs Senshuken's hand and rushes over to that side of the bar, the Bayushi in tow.

"Asahina-sama, Susumu-sama. I'm so honored!" There's a proper, though rushed bow from the extravagantly-dressed girl. "My name is Yogo Tamiyo and this is my friend Bayushi Senshuken-sama. I am a fan of your work and have recommended it to my own followers. It is so very nice to make your acquaintance!"

[Otomo Koroshi]

Dancing without a care in the world is Otomo Koroshi in a bright yellow and black striped suit that resembled a horribly large yellow wasp. A cloak of sorts in pink and green sat on his shoulders, while a very large hat with the character gi for Justice in styrofoam proudly stood on it. The comically large hat was held in place by a strap under his chin but it seemed unnecessary as the Otomo busted out a wide range of boy-band staples without a hint of stress.

His face was utter joy as he took a moment to send the cloak fluttering behind him to compliment his superhero pose. Then back to the fast paced moves of current pop.

[Susumu Yakumo]

Yakumo watched as Hinata disappeared onto the dancefloor, knowing there was not much stopping the blue-haired doofus once he set his rather simple mind to something. So that meant she had to cover for the Crane performer now.

"Ah..." she looked a bit sheepishly at where Hinata had disappeared, then focused fully on Tamiyo and Senshuken. "My apologies for Hinata-san. I'm sure he'd be happy to meet a fan too, once he returns. A pleasure to meet you, Yogo-san, Bayushi-san," The tall diva bobbed her head in greeting, showing she was rather relaxed with formalities here in the club as she kept a casual smile on underneath the sheer veil. "Are you two local here on World of Dreams then?"

[Usagi Rei]

Another sip, and she placed the glass down on the counter. "Let's see if Usagi-san has been watching cartoons in his morning hours, hm?" she said with a teasing smirk.

Sighing, Rei slid his drink away from him, back towards the bartender. At the same time, though, he cast Yakumo a smirk. "Bold of you to think I'm awake in the morning hours." He said, beginning to rise...

And then the little group was mobbed by famous teen girls.

Smiling, Rei sat down again, content to watch, sipping his drink again.

[Yogo Tamiyo]

Tamiyo blinks as the Crane storms off to the dancefloor. He probably didn't hear. She hopes...

"Ah..." she looked a bit sheepishly at where Hinata had disappeared, then focused fully on Tamiyo and Senshuken. "My apologies for Hinata-san. I'm sure he'd be happy to meet a fan too, once he returns. A pleasure to meet you, Yogo-san, Bayushi-san," The tall diva bobbed her head in greeting, showing she was rather relaxed with formalities here in the club as she kept a casual smile on underneath the sheer veil. "Are you two local here on World of Dreams then?"

Tamiyo nods her head enthusiastically. "Uhuh, Susumu-sama, sure are! And please, just call me TamTam. I'm a pop idol, just like you! Well, not quite yet, you are obviously much more famous, and you know, different styles, but still, I'm giving it my all!"

The Yogo smiles brightly as she sips delicately from her cocktail, followed by a frown.

"Oh, I would normally ask if I can take a selfie with you, but, like, full disclosure and stuff, I kinda need to let you know I am planning to letting the DJ play an unreleased song of mine, well, remix really, and just let my Bakemonoko know that there will be an exclusive happening here today. Anyway, you obviously don't even know me or my music and I totally don't want to make you being here tonight appear as something it is not, you know?"

[Asahina Hinata]

It's maybe half a song later before Hinata realises he hasn't been joined by those that had promised they would. He uses one of the few advantages of being small and slips back through the dancing throng to find his would be dancemates had been waylaid by a pair of Scorpion girls. He bounced back over and stood, hips still moving in time to the music and looked questioningly around.

". . . ?"

[Yogo Tamiyo]

"Ah, Asahina-sama, my apologies for detaining Susumu-sama. I just wanted to say hi out of respect. The music of both of you has brought me joy."

She bows again, still smiling.

"My name is Yogo Tamiyo, also a musician, though I would not expect you to know of me..."

While she might be more local than them, still, seriously? Nothing!? For real!?

[Susumu Yakumo]

"Is that so?" Yakumo glanced in the direction of the music master of this club, seemingly expectant of what sort of talent they would be treated to soon.

At that moment, the Asahina came back. "Hinata-san, this is Yogo Tamiyo, a local musician who is a big fan." Who she was a big fan of, Yakumo didn't specify. Probably because she was having her Primadonna-feels show up now. "Why don't we take a picture with her, hm? Wouldn't that cause a big stir - the tw-three of us, together?"

Somewhere in her dark twisted mind, she was imagining another short Usagi Drop! member spitting out his tea in surprise when the picture would eventually cross his newsfeed.

[Usagi Rei]

"I can take the picture." Rei volunteered, giving the lot a charming smile.

[Asahina Hinata]

"Hi Yo . . . "

His greeting was waylaid by sudden Yakumo photo op.

"Pictures????!??!?!?!"

The slight bouncing of his hips turned into full bouncing of the entire, small, body.

"Oh yes! Can't wait to send these back to the other boys!"
