[Kuni Koyuki]

Koyuki grinned when the drink was handed over, and as the question was asked it looked as if Koyuki wasn't listening. Busy as she was at the time she downed the remainder of Hide's drink in a gulp, set the glass on the counter, and then returned fully toward Hide. Taking a moment to settle her own outfit a moment, making sure she was looking somewhat presentable despite her state. Everything was in a nice pleasurable fog, so it was best to be careful.

"Now your wife owes me," she unsubtly teases, and then walks around Hide's side as to face them both toward the dancefloor, assuming Hide turns with her. "Sure-" she says, in an abruptly sober manner. "There's a real good trick to it. And I'll tell you," she nods toward the floor, "dance with me?"

"Oh thanks Usagi-sammaaaaaaa!"

To be honest Hinata had been about to resort to climbing up and sitting on the bar to get someone's attention. He also didn't want a repeat of proving his age like he had had to do at the door. He really didn't like having to wave his wakizashi around.

Once finally noticed for service he ordered something multi coloured with three umbrellas and a plastic Shimmerwing on a stick in it.

Glancing at the drink, Rei just nodded. Yeah, that checked out.

"Sure thing." He said, smiling. And yet, he couldn't take his eyes off of the drink. "Okay, I have to ask. Just what is in that thing?"

Senshuken is already out when she receives TamTam's text and there is only one question that comes to her mind and has no answer at all: why not?

A few minutes later, the young Bayushi enters the place and looks around her for the Yogo. She's dressed in a baggy pair of black jeans, red crop top and red sneakers.

Having been recommended this place and agreed to meet certain local souls here, Yakumo easily strode past the waiting line at the door as she casually name-dropped herself at the entrance and went right in. Incognito wouldn't do when you wanted to be seen and to benefit from being a well-known celebrity.

Yesterday's traditional yukata had been exchanged for a sleek black attire with gold embellishments that almost were in the style of an old Spider parade-uniform (not that most knew that) and a pair of thigh-high high-heeled boots. Instead of a proper mask like she had worn yesterday, today she wore a sheer veil covering the lower half of her face.

She spotted Rei, but more interestingly she saw Koyuki heading towards the dancefloor. Not something she had expected from the Kuni, at all. A hand was raised to catch the Hare's attention at least as she made her way over to him. "Hey."

"Senchuchan!!" Tamiyo bounds over to her Bayushi friend. "Been too long! How you been? Love the look, suits you!"

She does a little pirouette so the other Scorpion can take in her own outfit as well, before producing a dataslate.

"Guess what I have here?" The Yogo girl smiles mysteriously and continues before waiting for an answer. "It's the recording of a colab I did with Shinjo Aoki. I know, right, Shinjo Aoki! He remixed one of my songs for the Ninjala game!!" The smile turns into a mischievous grin and gestures towards the dj booth. "Hasn't been released yet, so how about we make this an exclusive event and I post that I let the DJ play it in about an hour?

Should have the place packed and hopping, no?"

Hide's mind went through a mini-panic, but she had experience with a certain tease in her life before. So she trusted this Kuni wouldn't do anything too untoward, given her knowledge of Hide's availability. Hide turned to join Koyuki towards the dance floor. "Ah, sure. Just can't dance for very long."

Koyuki lead her onto the dancefloor, taking the lead and for what it was worth giving a decent show. It wasn't something the woman seemed to be unfamiliar with, but the moves in particular weren't important. She moved to the music, inspired Hide to do the same, and in the midst of it all would lean in at appropriate times.

"Ask her," she said, a half-chuckle. "That's it. That's the trick," she glances away, scanning the rest of the room but not seeing much. She'd likely not be able to recognize any of the faces from here, they were all a bit blurry she'd have to admit. Again, "Do you love her?" she asked, there was a particular sound to her tone. It wasn't conspiratorial or suggestive, if anything it felt as if the words put weight on her to speak them.

He hesitated a moment, looking back and forth between Yakumo and Hinata. Was there going to be more yelling? Not that they didn't get along, but that they got along in such a strange way. "Well, at least I don't have to introduce the two of you." He murmured, smiling.

"It's a Red Dragon Blue Dragon Sunrise!!! The embassy staff said I might like them."

And like them he did, even if he did nearly shove the plastic shimmerwing up his nose when attempting to get to the straw.

"Hi Yakamo-sama!"

Not quite a shout, but enough for her to hear.

Hinata, as always, made her react with a sigh of exasperation and amusement. "Hello Hinata-san. I see you're already enjoying yourself here." She glanced around, then back to the Crane. "Did you just get here too?"

He attempted another sip and this time an umbrella got in the way of his straw. He blew at it from the corner of his mouth until it moved out of the way.

Looking between Rei and Hinata, Yakumo picked up her drink, holding it up slightly. "A toast to acquaintances, new and old?"

Koyuki nods, her own mirth a constant ebb and flow given the conversation. It was hard to not be infected somewhat by Hide's ease, especially when she was drunk. Something to remember for herself later, don't get drunk around Matsu Hide. However, it was hardly the worst loss. With sober intention she leans closer, "Has she ever lied to you? Would you even know?"

What? Hide was at a loss. She had no idea what kind of question that really was. Did Eriko ever lie to her? Would Hide know it? The Matsu's brows knit in thought before taking in a deep breath. "I wouldn't know! And it doesn't matter! I don't believe she could fake the involuntary smile she makes when I come into the room. If that was the insinuation, that is."

Koyuki watched her intently, drinking in the way Hide responded. Those physical touches of surprise that people wore, and that Hide especially wore. Was almost surprising someone so honest as her could exit. It was enough to bring her a smile, even if Koyuki's eyes didn't match it. Nodding she finished in the middle of their dance, and had apparently guided them near enough the side it wasn't too troubling to stop. Reaching up, she dared, and placed a hand upon Hide's shoulder, rubbing it briefly with her thumb.

"Maybe you should ask her?" Shaking her head regardless. Offering up a rare soft smile, "Thank you for the dance, Matsu Hide-sama," and before she allowed a chance for Hide to say anything further she left the floor, and walked with intent toward the bathroom. Maneuvering through the crowd best as she might manage.

Rei shrugged, smiling. "I'd drink to that." He lifted his glass, toasting it with the two pop-stars... wow, it had been a DAY... before tossing the rest back.

Still smiling, he waved to the bartender. "Another of these, please." He had a feeling there was going to be dancing, and by Rei's calculations...
1) Holding a drink was an excuse not to dance
2) Having a few drinks was an excuse not to dance well

He'd played this game before, oh yes...
