The stage of the Wicked Wasp stood ready for tonight's exclusive live show. Low music was playing already as the final tests of the sound systems were happening

Any minute now, the magic of music would happen.

[Soshi Kazumi]

After a while the low music cut out and experienced concert goers cheered as they new this meant things were getting under way.

And a renewed cheer lifted up from the crowd as Lazumi stepped up to the dj table. Kazumi was Dressed daringly in a new outfit they had gotten for the show. One couldn't share a stage with THE Spider Princess and a member of Usagi Drop! And not dress to impress. The black number fit their shoulders well, the outer jacket almost reaching the floor and a space un the middle exposed some chest. The Scorpion had their usual mask on with the build in lights turned all the way up.

"Good evening Wicked Wasp! Now I know all the regulars know me pretty well by now but for those that are new around here my name is Moonshade and I'll be opening you up tonight!" They paused for some cheering and clapping

"Without further ado let's get this party started with a classic of mine!" Kazumi shouted before beginning to play one of their earlier techno songs. The dark, heavy beat letting the bass flow through and the mid tempo making it pretty easy to move to and enjoy. The track was very well composed, especially for their earlier works.

[Asahina Hinata]

After Kazumi's first set was done it would soon become apparent why most of the stage was left empty. Their first clue would be the house lights dropping and a strobing red light across the stage accompanied by a mechanical voice over the speakers . . .

"Warning! Orbital drop in five seconds . . . four . . . three . . . two . . . one! DROP!"

On the shout of Drop!, Hinata jumped from the slightly elevated stand he'd occupied in the dark, landing centre stage as the lights came back up and striking a traditional Usagi Drop! pose.

The traditional Usagi Drop! entrance achieved, the music started for the Drop! hit '"Feel My Heart" and Hinata launched into dance as the intro played out before performing his actual first ever solo performance since joining Drop! Hinata's ever fully charged energy levels had him using the entire stage for his performance, even pausing in the instrumental between the second and third verse to cast an illusion of sparkly butterflies across the stage.

With the number finished he bowed to the crowd, waved and skipped off the stage, through the butterflies, dispelling the illusion and leaving the stage and crowd ready for the . . . main event!

The lights dim as Hinata finishes his number, and slowly a familiar tune begins to build as the stage gradually becomes flooded in lights. Yakumo steps onto the stage, wearing a red jacket with a huge bow on her back made to resemble an admiral's jacket, her black hair free with a red ribbon adorning it. Holding her microphone Yakumo raised her hand, greeting the audience. "Hello Wicked Wasp!"

Then of course, she had to deliver her signature-line that she opened up all her concerts with the past year; "Watashi no uta wo kike!" (Listen to my song!)

The music turned to its high-tempo and she moved to the music, fully falling into the sound of it all as she began to sing; those powerful and enticing vocals, changing pitch and register and weaving together in that truly unique sound that was Kumohime.

"If you saw the disconnected sky…
If you can hear this shaking voice of mine…
Soar high enough to be shattered to pieces,
fly with wings of your shattered and resolute memories.

Back then, I always talked with you.

I’ll just have to keep getting up until I can resurrect those days.

"A big applause to Asahina Hinata of Usagi Drop!, and your own local star, Soshi "Moonshade" Kazumi!" Yakumo encouraged the audience in the lull between music. "We're, truly, joined by some amazing talent here tonight. And we're joined by such a wonderful audience! Thank you!"

Her smile was warm and affectionate as she looked out at the gathered crow. "Be ready to hear not only some of your favourite songs tonight, but some new work we've all prepared just for you tonight - songs never heard before until this evening!" A moment was given for the cheer to calm down.

"I wrote this especially for this world. This World of Dreams. Hear my Song of scattering of reverberation!"

Upbeat music began to play, soon followed by Yakumo vocalising along to the beat of the melody before the first words came. The special effects of the Wicked Wasp simulated the appearance of fireworks and sparkles to accompany the performance.

Just a splash of indigo blue dropped there
Adding a vermillion moon to a night of flamboyantly melted colors

Cutting through the wind as if to tumble
I grew stronger with every stumble

The music carried on a bit more and came to an end, and Yakumo was breathing heavily as she took a bow again.

Steadying her breath, she placed her hand over her heart. Without a word, the sound went right into the next song, this time one of the most popular songs she had been performing this last year. Even with a slightly different rythm and sound, it was unmistakeably Do you remember love?.

After two upbeat songs, calming down the energy of the room with a romantic ballad was just the right thing. The effects of the Wicked Wasp for a moment looked like the stage was surrounded in starlight as she began to sing.

Just when it seemed loneliness had beaten me.

Finishing the song, Yakumo placed the fingertips of both hands to her lips, and blew a kiss to the audience. "Thank you, I love you." There was a warm tenderness to those words, almost as if they could have been said more privately.

"Please show your appriciation to Soshi Kazumi and Asahina Hinata!" With those words, the lights dimmed and Yakumo departed the stage for now.

[Soshi Kazumi]

Kazumi made their way back on stage up to the table "I mean just wow! We all know she's the Spider Princess of Pop but that was amazing!" The Soshi gave Yakumo a round of applause and the crowd joined in.

Giving them a minute to die down Kazumi started again "While Yakumo rests those golden vocal cords I have a brand new mix to keep it going." With that Kazumi Started pressing buttons and slowly a new song filtered through the speakers. The music had a funky disco like beat to it. The song was a remix and mash up of a few of the greatest hits of Shosuro Eruton a pop star from decades ago. The tracks blended together incredibly well and new vocals accompanied the original music all sounding very natural while still being transformative.

The funky dance beat was not too crazy intense but had a nice happy and light sound to it picking the nenergy back up from the crowd slowly and promoting a fun dancey mood.

As it finished up Kazumi looked out to the crowd "Hope you all loved that as much as i loved making it! Lets keep the energy going for Asahina Hinata!" They shouted as the house lights dimmed out again for another switch.

Much less of a flashy entrance for Hinata's second appearance. He traipsed on stage having changed into the one and only 'Stormbird' style outfit he had (baring what Couturier-samaaa made for him at the embassy). A wave to the crowd and then the music started up again.

Despite saying he'd stick to his group's older songs that he knew backwards, he'd actually picked one of their most recent singles for his second song. The reason would be that it was the only one in their catalogue were he was used to taking the lead role. Anyone familiar with “The Amazing Adventures of Space Hero Pilot Captain Inu Shikoku-ken” would instantly recognise it as having been used extensively in the recent "Rabbit Drop Troopers" arc of the long running cartoon. "Never Stop!" being a quite apt description of Hinata himself.

The song and dance were quite a bit slower than his first, but equally well represented and suited to his high voice. Very high for a male, but completely natural sounding. The short instrumental was accompanied by another prayer to the air kami, this time forming an illusion of the daring Inu Tai and Nousagi the Rabbit Trooper saluting the crowd.

Song complete, he once again bowed to the audience.

"Oh thank you! Thank you!!!!! Now it's time for more Yakumo-samaaaaaaaaa!!!!"

He skipped off stage to allow the Spider songstress to replace him.

Darkness, and then a previously unheard dark sound began to play before the lights bathed the stage in red lights where the Spider diva stood. In the time off stage, Yakumo had changed into a new costume, keeping the same theme of a giant bow on her back. The special effects of the Wicked Wasp simulated red, billowing smoke, adding to the dramatics of the song.

Her voice rung out in a passionate, almost sensual tone.

"Time standing still beneath a burning sun
Without a choice we're wandering aimlessly
Surrounded by a chaos deep within the night
The howling wind drowning out our voices

Searching the barren world a single ray of hope
Our hearts have left behind their long forgotten dreams

"I am so thankful to be performing for you tonight!" She waved and smiled to the audience. "Let's enjoy another song together, one I know you have all enjoyed a lot this past year."

"Let's become synthetic~," she sung just that one line, and for the fans it was recognizable as the song Forbidden Elixir, which had had a pretty popular music video since the release of her album (mostly because it had featured Yakumo playing the role of both a bride and groom).

Sensual yet poppy music began to play, and Yakumo brought the microphone up again. Some of the lights on the stage adding in pinks and reds, while it seemed like butterflies were flying around during the performance.

Kazumi Appeared this time in a much more normal outfit for them dressed in black pants and shirt with a leather jacket on top of it. Though this time they walked passed the DJ table and Kazumi approached the mic at the front of the stage "So, we have a bit of a night of firsts here, first time hearing some of Yakumo-sama's new music, First time hearing Hinata-sama performing solo and Now First time I have ever sang for a live audience. I hope you all like it!"

and with that the band starts with something a bit heavier than the other offerings tonight and then Kazumi came in and that one of a kind voice sang for the first time on stage.

For an apparent beginner their sound was on point, soft where it needed to be and loud, full of emotion when the song demanded it. Kazumi poured themselves into the song their eyes closed as the words flew from their lips a passion that came from their core.

The song came to a close and a slightly breathless Kazumi looked out to the crowd "Thank You!"

As Kazumi finished up his number, all three of them could be heard shouting together "Listen to my song!" right before the final number began playing, as Hinata and Yakumo both came out on stage with an energetic jump. The special effects filled the stage with bright and fun lights, some like hearts and others like small explosions.

Almost around midway through the number, the Spider songstress was starting to look weary, as if her voice might almost falter, but somehow she found that second wind and came back stronger and more energetic!
