The previous day had been rough for Hato. A delusional Kuni had recruited her to witness her personal love drama. The run on Watanabe Heavy Industries had failed when the computer she accessed committed virtual seppeku. Still, she hoped the tea ceremony provided by the Yasuki turned Miya would bring her harmony.

She approached well in sight of the guards, and bowed deeply.

Hato was trying to put a good face on it, but Yasuki business sense could definitely tell that her position from their last meeting could well have shifted somewhat since then based on those challenges.

"Lord Chrysanthemum speaks the truth. But as a wolf, there's precious little one can do about it. You trust and hope a combination of honor and force keeps everyone in line, but at the end of the day, when this one is crossed, they are but one gun, not a hundred." she said.

Hato was clearly disappointed in that deal. While the Phoenix had seemed like a wildly out of touch academic, she had hoped he'd be able to at least stick to the basics of such agreements. But he was apparently just that much more bit out of touch.

"That seems....both foolish of the Dragon, and yet most fitting of their character. There are more than a few stories of the Dragon clan being where they are least expected. But this one agrees that the those who serve the throne should be kept aware of such....drastic events." she offered politely.

She was curious what the Carp turned Miya might be able to offer her. True, she had told the Phoenix she would do work for him, but then things had gone badly on both sides of that equation, so she was more inclined to hear what the Miya would offer for such information.

It was clear from her expression that she had no clue as to what Nishida was foreshadowing. Still, whatever he wishes to talk about, she was happy to attend to.

She glances at the bushes to see if Yogo Ono was about to jump out, with the illusion of Nishida fading away and the Yogo crowing 'Yo' Ronin, you got punked!'

Hato prostrated herself before the Miya.

The actual adoption and swearing oaths would be later and much more formal...but Hato was truly overwhelmed by the Miya's stunning offer and stayed prostrated.
