A ronin who doesn't keep their word not only dishonors their name but is also a ronin who cannot be trusted with future jobs. Once that reputation starts to spread one can easily find themselves starving on a street corner.

As such, having showered and changed, he presents his forged ID to the guards and begins his night.

The guards let Dai in, casually checking his papers as they chatted the latest gossip, name of certain Susumu Yakumo popping up more than once. On the way out Dai had a close call - a guard was an about to turn to look at his direction when someone called at her, distracting the young woman, the brief moment allowing Dai to slip out into safety.
