"She's friendly too, as long as she wants to spin you in" he replied with a grin, "A fox in a fox mask is not very creative indeed.... who do you think is the man in the mystery gentleman suit? I think he has pincers in any case,..." he gave as a hint.
The Little Fox stared at the Mystery Man rather vacantly. It kinda reminded them of the Usagi but not quite.
"Errrrr I don't think I've met them."
The Crab hint had not been ignored, he just hadn't talked to any Crab on the planet as yet.

"Careful there," the woman would say impassively as her gaze took another look at his costume. "It would be rather embarrassing if you couldn't find your way back home after being blinded. I don't think this place takes well to loiterers at the end of the evening. They have a lot to clean up afterwards."
She took a sip of her glass, filled with some wine that made the event a little more bearable. If nothing else, the drink offerings here were always exquisite. You can't celebrate the height of decadence if you're going to have poor refreshments, it tends to easily spoil the mood for everyone. "Oh? I might be able to help you with that. What would make you a villain?"
"Praised be Osano-wo that left such a remarkable resistance into his descendants. Getting struck by lightning is something that dizzies and blind many of us, but only for a moment." He smirk, mentioning the Crab Clan samurai as a whole, not himself specifically. It could do the trick not to worry Mariko about any potential stalking from his part, if the rumors weren't so vicious.
"If the Star of Night unmasks this admirer, I am sure it would make a villain out of him instantly. Tomorrow's sharp tongues would definitely mar her reputation. Now to make a charming mysterious man, I am sure that is something you might help me with." The previous grin turns into a smile.
"Sure, I know where they're hidden." He'd been taught to locate everything everywhere without much thought. A flicker of something jumped from eye to eye as he said that, perhaps the atmosphere of the event triggering him in some way. Still, he just provided the pointers.
"At the event? Yeah, it's been interesting, special Scorpion aesthetics and all. On this world? Hell yeah, my wife's here, she's the joy of my life." He replied to the Unicorn woman with a grin.
She gave a light punch to Ryuhei's arm, "Ixnay on the ifeway. I'm undercover, darling."
Speaking up again, "If you don't mind, my fellow Scorpion here can show you to the facilities so you can freshen up. I should probably take care of this napkin myself anyways."
Leaving the two Unicorn to talk, Tenma takes the red napkin to a place for used utensils and such.

"Only for a moment? That is rather impressive," she said casually about the matter with a few nods. "I hope it doesn't happen too often or some people might consider you to be a lightning rod for disasters, even if you are immune to it."
"I see..." she said on a slightly unsure note on the matter. "I'll just have to take your word for it, Tuxedo-san. If that's the case, I'm sure if anyone attempts to unmask someone here, they will be turned into the villain for spoiling the spirit of the evening. I'm not going to do that in the slightest. There are many things here that are better off as mysteries than reality."
She rested a hand on her hip, humouring him at the moment. "And what sort of help do you need, Tuxedo-san?"

"I confess it does rain a lot in the World of Dreams, and the thundering strikes happen much more often than in any other world I've been before. Gladly the masks help a bit to avert the gaze. I am also trying not to be out in the open anymore, as to avoid further disaster." He says looking up to the ceiling and covering his hat with left hand.
Her arm movement brings his attention back to the maiden, and he puts some intentions out there for open interpretation, "A good word to our Night Star's most prestigious family line about a certain ally of similar upbringing feeling rather blue and, I dare say, lonely. Perhaps the idea of putting a show of a great magnitude, of heavy metal, industrial even, could shake up new connections for both families. I am aware of some artists in red and black capable of putting such a show."
"Well..." Rei gave her a smile, lightly playful. "Only if my mysterious company will have another as well. Or half of one, at least." He waved a hand, trying to catch the attention of a nearby server.
Listening, still smiling, he nodded. "Oh yes, there's many mysteries to be found here. Uncovering those is a seperate full time job." He flashed a quick grin at her wink. "But it does keep the mind occupied, at least."
"Oh really?" Rei tilted his head, regarding Sumiko with that same playful smile. "It sounds like you're a woman who enjoys new experiences. Is that so?" A server arrived; Rei snagged two drinks, replacing his old nearly empty one on the tray, offering a fresh to Sumiko.
"Let's say half" Sumiko laughed "I won't force you to drink a full though if you don't want to, Mysterious-kun."
She accepted the drink with a smile and a nod.
"Thank you. I'm trying to work out if I've had these before, they're not as sweet as the ones I tried a few days ago so perhaps not? Those were experimental. I do like new experiences, finding the unknown is one of my favourite things to do. There is much to see, many things to try. What about yourself, do you seek the unknown or are you content in your life as it is?"

He took a sip of his drink, the grimaced. "Those experimental ones. Yes. I had a few of those. They were interesting. But yes, I'd say I'm quite interested in trying new things.
A moment to let that hang, and then: "Have you ever been to the Golden Frog? They do a lot of interesting things with drinks there."
"I confess it does rain a lot in the World of Dreams, and the thundering strikes happen much more often than in any other world I've been before. Gladly the masks help a bit to avert the gaze. The lady took two sips of her wine, looking a bit curious at where he was going with all of this. "That might work out for you in the short run but if you stay inside for too long, people are bound to know that you have something to hide. Lightning might not strike you but people are going to conjure stories."
"That's an idea." She said with a few nods, trying to progress it. "It would seem like a good idea between the Scorpion and Crab. Are you organizing and bankrolling this concert in the next future?"

Kimurahime smiled at the affectionate gesture given, although found herself blushing faintly as Yuji pushed a little more on the veneer of decorum here. "Let's see what comes from this before you thank me, although my intuition hasn't failed me yet."
Despite taking a backseat to the political negotiations, it was hard to dismiss her Imperial heritage and training.
The masked woman raised her brows when she was approached by not just one but two Spiders. She smiled softly as they neared, giving them a bow in greeting. "Good evening. I wouldn't say it's always good, especially when you've missed a good bulk of the conversation. Sometimes duties do get in the way of leisure but I hope there is some good company to be had still."
Yuji would return the bow, keeping an eye open for a servant carrying drinks, as long as they were nearby, to get one for their new friend. "I understand that, duties being what they are." He smiled, the evil design of the mask making it look wholly wicked. "May we offer some company, then." There was softness to his tone as he asked.

"Avoidance doesn't mean reclusion. I'll leave my appearance in the hands of the Fortunes. Lightning or not." He opens his arms with a flick of the cape, saying, "If I get the proper permissions with the hosts, I would certainly address that with the Crab Embassy and who knows, KHII's sponsorship, maybe?"
"Of course, please," the woman would say with a nod of acceptance at the offer. "I'd love to catch up on the proceedings tonight, no matter how brief. Admittedly, I was hoping business would be left at the door but I know full well that is often wishful thinking. Are you local?"
Susumu Kimurahime
Meanwhile, Kimurahime was getting a good sense of where Yuji's gaze was going. It was perhaps well and fine that he did that dramatic flourish earlier for her but that gesture was probably best held back with a guest, until he got his full sight back at least. She would preemptively wave one over so that their guest can get one themselves.

A deeper smile replaces the courtier's one she has been using under the mask. "I am deeply grateful for both of your assistance. IF you can point the direction, I will head that way myself. But it is good to see a former clanmate in a new place."

The woman smirked faintly before taking a sip of wine. "I trust that you know how to manage your appearances. If you were a true recluse, then you wouldn't be here. Is that to say that you also know less is more? Managing events is hard work and typically something I would leave to the producers. However, if there's something happening worth my while, I will show up."

Yuji was deeply appreciative of Kimurahime's presence, and keeping him from embarassing himself in public. A step closer to her side as they spoke with their masked stranger.
"We are. And isn't that always the hope, to leave business behind for the day, when we are wearing these. While there's much to discuss..." Yuji kept his tone low with the Crimson and Gold before the pair, his features kept pleasant. "It's beennfsr more interesting seeing how the non-local guests adjust to the game. To see how faces blush behind their masks, while dealing with the prods and jabs and... other scandalous delights." He looked to Kimurahime, his smile broadened to her, and another reassuring squeeze.
"And yourself? Local, or on assignment from a distant, exotic star?"

The golden woman would take a small sip from her glass, more with the intention to savour rather than to drink. She gave a small nod in agreement. "Sometimes my days are so booked that sometimes I do have little time to address any business not in front of me. So I can understand taking any opportunities possible. Perhaps we can keep this somewhat casual?" She proposed with a small smile.

"Of course, we will be sure to not take away from your leisure here. I'd like to think that's the intention all of us strive for this evening, after all." She would smile back at Yuji and return the hold in kind.
"Mm, wonderful." The woman would muster more of a smile. "To answer your question, there was a time I used to call the World of Dreams home but now my home is somewhere else. My assignments bring me everywhere but it's always splendid to be back. There isn't quite a venue like this one anywhere else in the galaxy, especially not many found in Imperial worlds."

"And what nickname would you give me Mysterious-kun?" The woman replied, her green eyes almost having a glow to them in the light as she studied the man with an amused expression.
There was a small laugh as the grimace. "I found them quite enjoyable, but I left there without nursing any kind of issues, whereas I did see many drunk souls stumbling out. The Dark Blossom Blend I think I liked most. I've also been to the Golden Frog once. I haven't tried most of their menu, I just had a Young Lover" there was a smirk "I'll have to return there, it was pretty good."

"Tricky." Rei murmured, looking at her. "I fear that Emerald-chan might be a bit too on the nose. And yet, I find myself drawn to it, somehow. What do you think of that one?"
Taking a drink, he shifted just a little closer. "The Golden Frog is a fine establishment. I often go there myself. There's a booth by the window that I particularly like to have a drink in, sometimes with company. A good variety of drinks, too."
He turned his smile back on his companion. "But if the Young Lover is your drink of choice, well then. Perhaps we should get you another." His teeth flashed playfully at her.

"I would think we all would prefer casual." The gaunt, dark Deceiver smiled at that, truly relishing the game, and more importantly, the presence of Kimurahime here. Truly feeling basked with his better half.
"You are right. This place itself is a vibrant jewel in the void. Though I think it's the chance meetings we encounter that truly make it sparkle." Another sip from his drink, his gaze drawn back to the woman before them. "Those experiences not to be found elsewhere."

"I think that would entirely depend on what becomes of those chance meetings, of course. The city seems to have a million coincidences that happen every day as people cross the sidewalk but they are just that. It's hard to make a sparkle out of just one second. It's usually up to those to take the initiative to make something happen. And where are you hoping to happen?" She asked, directing the question to either of them.

Yuji smirked, a bolder step forwards to being the conversation closer. "There are plenty of little hideaways to which we can abscond. Never knowing more than just the moment. Places of shadow and silk that remains so close to discovery, yet entirely owned in privacy." There was a look to the charming Scorpion, and then back to Kimurahime. "Seconds can last in memory for far longer."
