"I appreciate the discretion." Yūrei takes the long spoon and carefully probes the desert dish, it seemed to be a chilled fruit dish served in a Kappa head ice sculpture. At least she hoped it was a kappa head.
The sweetness was nearly overpowering, but the cold of the dish and slightly dilution from the melting ice combined wonderful.
"Mmmhm, this is wonderful though. I just hope I don't knock mine over." She gives it an experimental wobble but her seems steady enough.

"Lots of physical activities, mostly. I need to burn a lot of calories."

He grinned a bit, even if it was hard to see in the dark.
"Admittedly, that limits my food consumption. I compensate for that with tea."
"Yes, my body is a temple?" She hoped he wouldn't notice all her hobbies were all something you could do without much of an income.
With genuine curiosity, maybe jabbing the bottom of her Kappab bowl a bit too hard
"You work on robots? I had no idea Miya-sama was an engineer. Can I ask what sort? I am only really familiar with the robots at the garden of Mists."

Nishida knew that the choice of her hobby was equal to her budget. He was rather surprised that the choice was so rational. In his understanding, poorer people usually had several vices they indulged in, which usually did not help a small budget.
"Multifunctional bots. My current project is a souvenir of Asakaze. So far, the Y4SUK1 bot can serve tea and find things. I hope to make him a little more useful."
One of the Kelleners came over, took the Kappa heads and served a bottle between them with 2 small glasses.
"I hope you like sake. It seems to be a noble drop according to the description."

Yūrei takes the bottle and slowly attempts to pour Nishida a glass, her brow furrowed in concentration as she can just make out the outline of the cup in the gloom.

Slooooowly the glass is filled and she carefully slides it over to Nishida with palpable relief, pretty sure the bottle was worth more than she was. Her own glass is poured much more quickly.
"And that is where you met your partner? A successful miai indeed." She takes a hold of her sake but waits for Nishida to drink first.

He then drank the sake.
"Ahh, it's damn good," escaped him in his old crab way.
"...yes, damn good." Which it was, in fact it was some of the best she'd ever had.
"I'm not worth to even consider such an exalted match, so I labour along. But that allows me more time to focus on my work, neh?"

"And they can swim...and worse they'll tell you that, constantly." She sips her own enjoying the spreading warmth and harsh flavour.
"This has been a very productive evening Miya-sama, I am honoured to have been a part of it."
"That's true. Tomorrow we should discuss your little request. Come to the embassy for that and give my name to the guards there, we should be able to meet in the lobby," he said and put down his glass.

With these words, the content of the evening devolved into shallow small talk. Yurei was probably surprised that Nsihida left her the bottle at the end, perhaps that was something like an advance payment for the coming, certainly extremely life-risky work.
