There is certainly plenty of concrete and metal in this area, which may be receptive to some questions posed to the earth kami. Of course, there is also the air kami everywhere but they do travel frequently. Most of the rain from the previous days had finally drained out of the district.

His attunement to all elements was balanced, still interacting with concrete always felt weird to him. So he went for a kami residing some metal in the area. He cracked his neck and started chanting.

While they were there Lazumi took a few minutes to see if they could make any sense of all the information, or at least start to.

They recognized a few names and places but it would require more looking into to really figure out. Kazumi stashed the device in their bag and made to leave. It wasn't much but it was a clue.

"What happened here?"

There was the slow creaking of metal that made it almost sound like the majestic groans of a whale song...or what you would hear if you drag a heavy safe river concrete floor. Ono is able to discern some language from the sounds of protesting metal.

Two step in. Two step in after. Three step out. One remain. Now, many step in after. Disturbance.

"Which direction did those three that went out go?"

If there was a way for metal to sound a bit clueless or uncertain, Ono would hear such sounds now.

We do not follow the earth everywhere and the earth can only follow so far. Two went home and one went home.

The sounds of metal are a bit more muted now but speak nevertheless.

Normalcy is found in routine. Routine is peace.
