Hat considered the question.

"Perhaps...but the one who has wronged this is not wrong....so much as he is misguided. His sense of filial piety is so strong, it blinds him to the truths that others can see. Truly it is said, 'When you swear yourself to vengeance, be prepared to dig two graves." she offered.

Hato appreciated the Otomo's earnestness so much. But it was a long truth for her that one day, there would be another death.

[Otomo Koroshi]

"Ah." Koroshi stood and put his hands to the sky. "May the Heaven's save us from those who seek revenge for things they do not understand!"

The Otomo paused and waited to hear back from his prayer before putting his hands down. "This one will pray further in a more auspicious location for you Hato-san. I expect that you will not be looking to kill this man? That would be unwise and dishonourable."

[Hato]

"Ah." Koroshi stood and put his hands to the sky. "May the Heaven's save us from those who seek revenge for things they do not understand!"

Hato thought of her mother, her sisters, her friends.....all dead because of one man's need to honor his warped memory of his monster of a father. She had known for a long time that one day the two would face off and one of them would die. She had accepted it would probably be her, had fantasized that it would be him.

The Otomo was just too hard to look at, and it wasn't his clothes. There was just too much nobility in his demeanor. It really was like looking at the sun. She wanted to swear to him that she wouldn't, that she would be honorable, and just and good.

Hato studied the ground.

"This one understands, Lord Chrysanthemum. It would indeed be unwise and dishonorable." she said quietly, but no more.

[Otomo Koroshi]

"No worries Hato-san, this one would have you show him a better food truck. This one will buy your meal for the gift of your company!" Koroshi thumped the wall and got off the ledge to stand expectantly. "We talk no more of dark things for now. The sun is...sorta shining. I think. The skyscrapers are ever in the way."

[Hato]

Hato bowed.

"This one would not refuse Lord Chrysanthemum in this. Although, this one would perhaps reverse Lord Chrysanthemum's thinking. The Sun is always shining, even if one cannot see it through the skyscrapers." she offered.

It seemed like a more hopeful way to think of things.
