D11 MN -- A Troublesome Gent

[Yoritomo Seika]

"Hey..." Seika's voice comes through the electronic announcer/lock system in the door of Jun's fancy-pants hotel suite, slightly warped by the excited Air kami animating the speaker. "Are you, like, awake? Mind if I come up? It's Seika."

A brief crackling pause.

"If it's too late, I'll go."

[Hotaru Jun]

Truth be told Jun had been asleep, but years on a ship were an alarm could go off at anytime had him up on the chime.

If it had been anyone else he would of told them to fuck off. This was Seika though, so after clearing his throat he spoke. "Yeah, I'm awake... Come on up."

[Yoritomo Seika]

"Okay..."

A short while later, there's a knock on his door and he'll find Seika on the other side, composed if a bit tired-looking. Her hair is slightly wet, as though she'd just showered before coming here. She'd been in a hurry, though, and might have missed one or two tiny flecks of dirt and dried blood stuck under her fingernails.

"Hey... look, Jun, I'm sorry to crash on you this late. I just got back from... well, anyway, I guess it was kind of an impulse but." She tucks a damp strand of hair behind her ear. "I've had enough of missing the moment and only seeing you when there's other people around--or killer robots--you know?"

[Hotaru Jun]

Jun had managed to get into some sort of state of dress before Seika arrived, though it was probably easy to tell the undershirt and pants had been thrown on. At least if you judged by the messy state of his hair.

"It's no problem, I've always got some time for you." He replied as he looked over her for a moment, before gesturing for her to come in. "Or I try to, even if finding it has been a bit rough these last few days."

[Yoritomo Seika]

Seika slips into the room. "Funny. It was my fancy hotel last time," she observes, lips quirking as her eyes take in the rather appealing contrast of luxury hotel furnishings and slightly rumpled Jun.

"Yeah, it's been... stupid busy winter court. Stupid gaki." She scrubs a hand through the cropped side of her hair. "Um. Did I mention the gaki?"

[Hotaru Jun]

That brought a brief frown to his lips which quickly turned to a look of concern as he looked Seika over. "No, you didn't mention a gaki." HE offered a moment later.

"Are you okay?" Was what followed a moment later. He knew she could take care of herself but, that was neither here nor there.

[Yoritomo Seika]

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Not a scratch." A gesture that starts as a waving-off of worries ends, without Seika quite noticing, with her hand unconsciously extended toward Jun, palm up.

"It was a weird scene, though. Like, would you believe Susumu Yakumo just walloped a demon right over the head? It's a long story if you want it, but, anyway..." her brows knit a little. "I... it's kind of a reminder that anything can happen, right? And not to put off the important shit."

[Hotaru Jun]

"Yeah, murderous robots should of reminded us of that shouldn't it." Jun replied, reading Seika's hand as a stop sign and for the moment keeping his distance. "Instead it's slender popstars hitting demons on the head with a pot or something." He couldn't really imagine Yakamo weilding an actual weapon, she;d probably shoot herself in the foot.


He took a slow breath. "So, where should we start."

[Yoritomo Seika]

"It was a magic lantern, actually." Seika lets out a shaky breath--shaky more because she's finally alone with Jun again than for anything to do with her recent brush with danger. "But yeah." The fingers of her upturned hand curl in a little, softly, much more should I? than stop.

"Where should we start? I want to kiss you. I want it so bad." She smiles crookedly. "But also, if I start doing that, I'm kind of afraid that I'm not gonna remember to talk about any of the things we ought to."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure you aren't wrong there." Jun replied with a snort of amusement. "Cause kissing is just one of the things I want to do right now." The rest probably didn't need to be said right now.

Sighing he shook his head and moved to plop down on one of the couches. "So I suppose talking comes first...." He grimaced. "I'm pretty bad at that though."

He looked towards her eyes. "I suppose I should start by saying I like you Seika, I mean really like you. I know we've had differences over some of our friends and acquaintances, but that didn't really change anything for me."
