Osamu strides to the entrance with casual ease, holding a tray of steaming hot tea. "Mornin'" He rumbles, doing his best to not seem as if he has a care in the world as he flashes a badge to the guards. He had heard of the Undercity, and the idea of a secret area had been too much of a draw to not at least take a stab at visiting.

Whether his fake ID would do the job? Well, that was another guess.

OOC: I would have the guard roll against your fake credentials, if I could find the roll where Osamu gets the fake credentials. Could you please include that to your original post.

The guards manning the post along the road leading to the undercity looked a good while at the papers Osamu had provided, running a scanner of some sorts over them. Then they laughed, the man holding the papers tucking them into his pocket even as his two friends moved their hands to their sidearms.



"Phoenix-san, how about you show us your ID?" One of the guards asks, stepping closer.

Osamu hands it over, doing his best to sigh and appear a soul of patience.

"Asako Osumu-san, yes?" the guardsman asks, his comrades still holding their hands on their guns. "Why on earth would you want to get into the Undercity so badly that you would get forged papers?" There was a distinct tone of disbelief in man's tone as if he couldn't understand why Osamu's motivations. "Why would Asako-san..." he looked up at him "Break the law like that. We are going to have to ask you to stay with us for a moment. A normal procedure, I am sure you'll understand. Rest assured, no harm will come to you - here at least." the guardsman flashed Osamu his most genial smile.

Osamu affects his best look of confusion. "You are to say...that this paperwork has been forged?!?" He gasps. "My word. I had been under the impression that my purchase had been of legitimate credentials!" Osamu shakes his head. "My word. I must be inconveniencing you good samurai."

Each of those sentences had the advantage of being 100% true, so long as you stripped them of context.

The guardsman laughed and laughed, moving his hand to dry his tears even as his comrades looked at him, nervous. "Asako-san is a comedian, I see. Asako-san should perform at larger stages, I am sure." Chuckling, he waved Osamu to step to the side. "Please come with us, we really have to take you to the station. Now, we trust you to behave so that we don't need to cuff you up."
