The sun had come out, and all the moisture from the rain and such had lifted into the air, making it a dense, hot, sticky soup of an afternoon. Not having another appointment for a few hours, Bayushi Tenma made her way to the artificial islands near her condo for some sun bathing. She wore a black bikini, a shade hat, and some sunglasses, hair in twintails to keep it off the back of her neck. Finding a place to set out a towel and umbrella, Tenma started laying things out for herself.

Someone clearly not planning to spend the day out on the beach made her way past the crimson magistrates sunning spot No swimsuit, no picnic basket, no beach towel, not even a beach ball. She didn't seem to have a particular location in mind, just walking and watching the other samurai out enjoying the sunny day.

As for Tenma, probably because Hato was dressed more normally, she recognized her almost immediately. She set down her basket before turning to the ronin through her sunglasses, "Ah, ronin-san, we meet again. You almost look like you're looking for someone... or something?"

Hato bowed deeply to the Scorpion magistrate. Even if she chose to go to the beach completely naked, her flame red hair gave her away in an instant.

"It is a search without a goal, Lady Scorpion. This one is spending her time simply walking and observing. This one finds it a pleasant day to observe at the beach. This one hopes Lady Scoprion has been well since last we spoke." she offered.

"Well, enough, hai..."

She looked curiously at Hato through her sunglasses before speaking up again, "You know, there are a lot of people who would love to see a ronin get in trouble for 'observing' people on the beach. Whether those reasons were true or not."

This prompts a small shrug from the ronin.

"Many feel they need no reason to get a ronin in trouble be it anything from verbal abuse to death. However, this one can not stop being a ronin and does not wish to cease existing. so this one merely lives this one's life as best as this one can, and simply expect the dangers. 'A walk on the beach' does not mean the same things to this one as others." she admitted.

Tenma thought about that a moment before nodding, "Fair enough. I couldn't ask for a more measured response than that. I suppose the most I can say then is, if someone does bother you, feel free to look me up. I should have enough sway to get any locals off your back."

A slight chuckle as she sat down on her towel, "Well, that and don't get heatstroke out here. You're dressed pretty heavy for walking on hot sand on a day like today."

Jogging nearby came a woman in black tank top and copper shorts - who Hato recognizes and perhaps others do as well, from the oshidama tournament or elsewhere - who had clearly been for an extended run around the islands. She looks well winded and sweaty, and pauses for a bottle of water before stepping out onto the beach itself.

She doesn't seem to be up to anything in particular or even looking for anyone. Perhaps just taking a break to look at the water and let the breeze roll over her?
