Bayushi Senshuken had texted Kiyoshi the previous night and there she is now at the entrance of the MCA Embassy waiting for him. They had mentioned going to the beach, so the young courtier is on her bike dressed in a pair of shorts and a T shirt, both in the colors of her clan. And she waits.

Kiyoshi emerged with a reluctant monkey. The Detective really disliked the beach. The Fox was wearing shorts and a T shirt with a red panda on it.

"Konnichiwa Bayushi-sama."

"Hello, Kitsune san!" She greets him back and offers a seated bow from her bike.

"Awwwww." She looks at the monkey. "What's wrong, mate?" She asks. The monkey.

The bow was returned as the Detective chattered. His mood seemed to improve when the Scorpion addressed him.

"He'll be fine." The Fox assured her. "As long as he can avoid the sand.."

"Would you prefer us going somewhere else, Kitsune san? We can always stay at the beach bar," she looks at the animal again, "and keep our paws absolutely sand free."

"That's a good place to start." he nodded. "But, I'm sure we can find ways to enjoy the beach, regardless. Shall we go?"

"Yes, let's go! Hop on, you two." She says and offers her helmet to Kiyoshi. "Do you have any experience with bikes?"

"Just on set, at moderate speeds." he admitted as he put the helmet on. As he sat behind her, the Detective leaped onto his back and clung tightly to him.

"I'll be gentle then." She promises and oh kami she really tries hard, but it's kind of dangerous to go slow on a bike like the one she has, you know.

They arrive at the beach alive in any case and Senshuken stops and grins while waiting for the man and monkey to dismount." Well?" She asks... something and looks at both of them respectively.

He had held onto her tight throughout much of the ride, as the Detective chattered excitedly. Once they arrived, the monkey dropped to the ground as Kiyoshi released her and stepped off the bike.

"You could challenge some of the stunt riders I've met." he grinned. "That was fun."

She also dismounts and grins back. "Aww, thank you. I'm actually a professional racer. I just finished my first season." I'm glad that you enjoyed the ride. Both of you."

"Come on! I know just the place." She says and walks ahead to lead them in one of the nearby beach bars that actually has its grounds covered in grass instead of the annoying sand.

The grass pleased the Detective, who was soon rolling around in it.

"A racer? I'm sorry we slowed you down. I can't imagine the speeds you must go."

"It was a nice ride, nevertheless." The Bayushi says politely as they pick a table to sit.

"Biking, racing and everything began as a passtime for me, but speed turned out to be the passion that moves my heart like no other. I should be the one apologizing probably. I cannot slow down sometimes. Or all the times, if I have to be precise." She offers a smile and makes herself comfortable in one of the chairs.

"How about you, Kitsune san? What's your own passion? Acting? Singing? Both? Something else entirely?"

"That's a good question. Acting, singing and animals are all interests, but I feel like I haven't really pursued any of them with passion. I've played the same role continuously,. The songs have been given to me to perform. And, while I have a talent with animals, I've not really studied them."

"Is there anything else that you feel attracted to or is it just the lack of time and suitable circumstances that have kept you away from truly pursuing your dreams?" She asks while nodding to one of the servers to approach for their order.

"If I'm honest, I don't think I've challenged myself." he admitted. "The rest of the Mystery Five left to do other things, acting, singing or something else altogether. I just stayed with the show. Until recently, I never really considered what I would do without the show."

"And now that you have considered it?" She pauses to order an ice tea and waits till the server is gone in order to continue.

"Is there any particular activity that feels exhilarating? It could be anything. From skydiving to mixing cocktails."

"Those are fun, but I do really enjoy music." he answered. "I haven't found my own sound yet. That's my first challenge. Other than that, I'll always have a strong connection to animals."

"Which music genres do you prefer listening to?" She asks. "It's an indication."

"I have an appreciation for older light pop styles, as that's what we performed for the show." He said. "I'm not a big fan of the heavier, louder stuff. Recently, however, I've been thinking a lot about the folksy tunes you encounter more on lightly developed worlds."
