Hitoko turned out to be so good at her ruse of just being a lost tourist that she ended up strolling the wrong block quite accidentally. The lost time, and feeling of foolishness, flustered her and shook her nerve as she tried to get close enough to her target to spy an entry point she'd missed earlier. She got close, her persona of the slightly ditzy tourist seemed solid - but she balked at how much time she'd spent on this run and opted to avoid causing suspicion, even though it meant going home empty-handed for now.
