Running with a bouncing gait, and wearing exercise clothes in weird...grey and red camo pattern, the expected other partner came.

"Hey you!" She jogged next to Yurei, and then bowed.

"Sorry for not talking to you in a while. Had to catch up on work and my remedial classes. How are you doing?" Her eyes scanned the woman all over for any recent injuries or anything.

Yūrei bows, the deep bow of a ronin to a clanner before bounding forward and hugging the other woman with a laugh. There was a slight bruise on her left arm and scrapes on her knees but nothing particularly bad by ronin standards.

"It's all good, I know you were busy what with being a reputable Clan samurai now. Look at you, you've put on weight, I can tell. You've got a couple years to make up for."

Releasing Sakura after one last squeeze
"I'm good, as good as can be. Got a little going on at the moment, have to see if it amounts to anything."

Sakura hugged her ghost back.

"What can I say, the Fortune's smiled upon me." She smiled at her friend. "Don't worry, I'm sure someone'll notice you...multiple someone's judging by what I heard floating around all the place." She giggled.

"What can I say, 3 square meals a day, and I don't have to fight anyone for it! Still feels weird."

She let out a small sigh.

"Still, some exercise might do good. And hey, if we keep at it....maaaaaybe we can buy some ice cream?"

"Oh, I KNOW." She let out a laugh. "Usagi-sama is good looking. Also, he's so cool! He knows celebrities! Yesterday evening I caught him speaking with Susumu Yakumo-sama, like it was nothing! Even managed to snag an autograph off her!"

She joined the jog, but starting picking up the pace. "2 laps sound good. As for problems...none worth mentioning. Some of the other Hotaru are a bit weird around me, but hey, I wasn't one of them until last year, when their boss almost got eaten. No offences made though. I did well in my classes, at least, and now I'm...kind of doing everything that needs doing. It's good to belong, you know?" Her tone was slightly anxious as she spoke though. "You're not...angry, are you? That I accepted their offer?"

"Kami, there are some things I don't miss about being a ronin. Well, most things really. Well, except for you, I guess. And some memories. Do you have a new roommate?"

She recalled Sakura had lobbed a banana peel at her when she'd said that

"No new roommate. I uh, replaced your bunk with a this little bar fridge I got from out back of Mifune's. I'm not gonna say the company is better, but it provides just as much food and doesn't snore any."

"But hey, you need a place to hideout for a day or so you let me know and we can squeeze."

"Uh-hu." She said slowly.

"I see, I see. Not anything that dirty...." She eyed him. "Aha, I see. Well just keep safe, and make sure you don't get dirt all over..." she gestured vaguely at her friend. "Your bushido or something. You're better than that."

She let out a gasp of surprise. "You didn't! You told me you needed me to help you cover you? And now?! Living alone! I have a roommate, you know! The nerve of some ghosts, I swear!"

She glanced a sideeye towards her friend....and picked up the pace a bit. Oh yeah, she's enjoying this.

"Rocks! And reports. And organizing the library. And lifting things. Really, everything. Apparently, they didn't strictly need another person at the Embassy, so I'm just doing whatever anyone else tells me."
