"We should definitely play together then!" She suggests. "As long as dating goes, well... It's fun yet demanding, exciting and time consuming at the same time. It can potentially drain your wallet, but you cannot stay away from it for long and if things go well, you can find yourself doing it over and over again." She chuckles. "What else would you seek in a hobby?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"That does sound like a hobby. It also sounds stressful." He thought it over. "I imagine it can be pretty fun, though."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

That makes Senshuken's head turn to the side to look at him almost immediately and certainly instinctively. "Stressful? Why? Don't you date? You must have like a million admirers and hundreds of them can definitely see the person behind the performer."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"It's hard to sort through it all, though." he said. "I haven't had dangerous admirers like some stories I've heard. But, I've had numerous encounters with women, and men, who just wanted to be close to a celebrity. Finding anyone more than a passing interest in me has never been easy."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Oh kami! What is this sweet sweet cookie saying?!

The Scorpion shrugs. "Well, dating isn't for everyone, especially for people who find it stressful. Marriage and nakodos work better sometimes." She comments. "Have you been thinking about that?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"No." he shook his head. "The contract doesn't actually allow for that. That's part of why your idea interested me. But, the studio prefers younger stars to be unmarried and unmatched. Dating is actually encouraged as long as no commitments are made."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

Ok, he is clearly not hubby material for Mariko then. Still he does sound like a lost soul in need.

"Okay, okay. Let's begin from the basics. Have you dated before? A girl, a boy, a person in general?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"Yes, there have been a number of girls." he nodded. "Most were connected to the show. Some I met in other ways. The latter didn't care much for the attention they received by association with me. Many of the former only wanted that attention."

He sighed. "There were some good relationships and I had some fun. It just never seemed simple."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"What made it perplexing and stressful exactly?" She seems genuinely interested.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"I just didn't understand what they wanted." he admitted. "I've never been very good at understanding social cues, not without a script. It's been a bit different here. Maybe it's because so much here feels like an act."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Well, you can always ask them what they want and see for yourself whether you want to grant their wish or not. It's safer than guessing and sometimes it can be absolutely hot."

"Court is indeed like an act. You have a few pre-written scripts and it's mostly a matter of picking the right one for each occasion. It's not imaginative most of the times." Thus not fun but she's not gonna say that.

"Have you met anyone you liked while you're on WoD?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"At least one." he nodded. "Maybe more. I've met a lot of different people, but haven't had more than a single conversation with most of them. It's a very large city."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"You should ask for contact information the first chance you get! Any chance that we can find one of them together? I will help you!" She exclaims and she sounds rather excited at the prospect.

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

He laughed. "That eager to hand me off to someone else, eh? The one I mentioned, I'm in regular contact with, but I sense some reluctance there. We'll see where that goes. The others were very brief contacts. If you're going to connect me with someone Senshuken-sama, it should probably be someone new."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

"Oh, don't get me wrong. I'd love to keep you for myself but my other date might find the situation too crowded. You, too, I guess." She bumps him with her elbow playfully. "Name the day and the time and we'll get out there to meet all the giiiiirls!"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"It's your world, wouldn't you know when would be best?" He shrugged. "Give me a few days to see how things go, then I'm yours to do with as you please."

[Bayushi Senshuken]

This makes the Bayushi laugh. "I'll take this sweet promise to heart and let my imagination run wild then."

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"At the very least, I'll expect an exciting ride." he grinned.

[Bayushi Senshuken]

That makes her laugh again.

"Be certain that if we ride together, it will be an experience that you won't forget for a long, lonh time." She pokes him with her elbow again and nods towards the sea. "How about getting a dive for now? Tempting enough?"

[Kitsune Kiyoshi]

"That sounds like a perfect idea." he nodded, pulling off his shirt.
