"That's an interesting turn in your style." She comments and seems genuinely interested. "Do you think that the two genres can be combined successfully?"

After a short pause, she asks another question. "I haven't asked you. Do you compose your own music?"

"No." he shook his head. "Everything was composed for us. Most of us never played any instruments, including myself. That's another thing I've been trying to change. I'm not sure how well those styles can mix, but I think there are some commonalities."

The Bayushi smiles broadly. "Well, it seems to me that you have taken the very first step towards finding out what fills your heart with joy and excitement. Your dreams lay right in front of you waiting for your move."

"How about your personal life? Family, friends, a special one or a group of those?" She chuckles. "I am really close to making this conversation sound like an interview of sorts. Forgive me. I'm trying to understand you and get a sense as to what in this planet fits your interests and what not."

"Other than the Detective, there's no one really." he admitted. "There was a time when I would have said I was close to the rest of the Mystery Five, but once they each left, we drifted apart. I have family on Inari's Cradle, but other than visits home, I don't have much contact with them. I don't want to risk exposing them to some of the negative aspects of my fame. The fans are great, but many of them only see their expectations of me. That makes connecting personally with any of them difficult."

Poor cookie. Omk! Senshuken wants to embrace him and pat his back till he feels strong enough to go out in the world and make friends, find lovers, get in touch with his family.

She looks at the monkey and back at the Kitsune, then she takes her mask off, sometimes it confuses people regarding the honesty of her words and the truth behind her actions. "Well," she begins talking and stops. What can she say really? "Well," a second attempt, but she stops again and breathes out in resignation. "I-want-to-embrace-you-and-pat-your-back-till-you-feel-strong-enough-to-go-out-in-the-world-and-make-friends-find-lovers-and-reconnect-with-your-family." She blurts out in one breath and shrugs. "But it's neither proper nor believable. Probably."

"I... don't think anyone would say that, like that, if they didn't mean it." he chuckled. "Thank you, Bayushi-sama. I really appreciate that. I'd gladly accept, but that would probably drag you into the realm of gossip and rumors."

"And I'm already there for a few months now, deep in the abyss of the rumor mill. It's better if you don't join me." She comments. The Kitsune doesn't seem like the lying type which can actually only mean just one thing. He doesn't think that she's a liar either!

"Ok, then, Kiyoshi san! What do you want us to do that will be really fun for you?" She looks at the monkey and grins while putting her mask on again. "And the Detective, of course."

"If there are any wooded areas along the beach, where the Detective can enjoy the trees and the shade, that would be nice." he suggested. "Then, we could enjoy the sand and the water, if you'd like."

"I know just the spot!" She exclaims. "Let's arm ourselves with cold sodas and we'll be there asap!"

Once they're ready, the Bayushi leads them to a quieter place where tall pines lie just a few meters from the seaside offering a shady spot for them to sit and for the money to play. "How about this place over here?"

The Detective seemed to agree, quickly climbing up a tree and looking around.

"He'll be happy up there." Kiyoshi smiled.

The Bayushi takes a towel out of her backpack and lays it on the beach so that both of them can sit down and she does so herself in one side of it. She pats the other side of the towel. "You are welcome to join me if you want, Kiyoshi san."

She pauses and mostly as an afterthought she continues after a few moments. "I haven't asked you really. What do you think of this court? The city? The planet? Are you enjoying yourself?"

He sat down next to her with little hesitation. "I'm enjoying myself. There always seems to be something interesting going on. I'm not really a city person though. So, I'm more comfortable in places like this or the sanctuary. What about you Senshuken-sama? Where do you feel most at home?"

"Bold?" She shrugs. "I don't know about that. I just get bored quickly so I prefer changing the scenery before that happens." Another shrug. "Either that or I'm an irresponsible brat like people whisper. You can choose freely between the two."

"Yes, yes. I certainly have hobbies, dear sir!" She exclaims playfully. "Lots of them for that matter. Dancing, partying, gaming, dating. I even play the samisen when I have the time."
