Unpacking it All (Day 2, MM, Private)

[Bayushi Tenma]

"I'm just weighing the pros and cons of wasting breakfast after cooking for you. Otherwise I probably would have teased you more."

Tenma took another bite.

"Otherwise I'm fine with you tearing, flipping over, or otherwise wrecking anything if it means I get to have you, Ru-kun."

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"I can accept a technical break for Ten-made breakfast as soon as real hunger games can recommence shortly thereafter."

He grinned.

"Because, you know, I am in newlywed, long-time-no-see mode."

[Bayushi Tenma]

"I'm just sorry it's not much of a honeymoon... I know we don't really get the luxury, but I was hoping to make some concessions, you know? Admittedly, Asakaze was already kind of a whirlwind honeymoon of sorts, but part of me feels like it was also kind of me tricking you. You know, because I normally don't have that much free time and all. I just want you to know you really have made me the happiest Scorpion in the universe, and I'm not sure it shows well enough."

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"I know even if it doesn't show enough." He grinned. "I am way too happy myself to feel tricked. I didn't choose you for your general availability, Ten-Ten."

He shrugged a bit. "I think we can still make the most of the current opportunity. I mean, I joined your Clan. If I hang out with you helping you somewhat while you are seeing to the Clan stuff, it's hardly wrong."

He arched his brow. "Besides, being married, aren't we supposed to be pay attention to our conjugal Duty too?"

[Bayushi Tenma]

"Well, yeah. Though I'm certainly in no rush to have kids; You know I'm not a big kid person. Besides, then I'd have to share you."

That gets a small pout before Tenma finishes off her omelete.

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"Well, yeah." He echoed her without realising.

For reasons that were not exactly his choice, Ryuhei didn't feel like he had all the time in the world for the most important things in life, but he didn't press the issue. They had spoken about it before, and it seemed that making them official didn't change her mind too much, so he decided not to dwell on it until further notice. He survived her pout by finishing his own omelette, then he stretched in his seat.

"I'm nourished. Time to burn it!"

[Bayushi Tenma]

"Hm?"

Tenma looked at Ryuhei curiously as she finished off a bit of her milk; She still wasn't used to drinking milk like this with breakfast, but it tasted good and it wasn't like she was lactose intolerant or anything. And it was a nice replacement for yogurt or other dairy for her calcium. ...not that she was dwelling on calcium intake at the moment.

"Burn what?"

She hadn't quite learned all her husband's little lingo or eccentricities.

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"Excess power, of course!" He rose from his seat and gulped and slurped the yoghurt while standing.

[Bayushi Tenma]

Tenma put her hand over her mouth, "Oh my! What brought this on?"

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"A magistrate, and so clueless?" He grinned, having wiped his mouth.

"I am but an innocent young Scorpion maiden!"

Tenma lied as easily as she breathed.

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"Makes me want to prey on your innocence. How outrageous would that be?" He took a step toward her.

[Bayushi Tenma]

Tenma pulled her knees to her and peered over them at her husband to hide her grin, "Why simply barbaric. I would have to protest! Unless there was something in it for me?"

[Bayushi Ryuhei]

"What's in it for you? Obviously, the barbarian himself! And his savage, indecent designs!" He sat on the floor before her feigning an attempt to bite her toe.

[Bayushi Tenma]

Tenma chuckled at the nipping before spreading her legs, proving beyond a doubt the truth of her earlier statement about his shirt.

Oooo... that sounds like the best prize of all. Show me."

Big red, almost alien eyes stared at Ryuhei intently, expressive and adoring.
