"This one would suggest that someone is attempting to smear Susumu Yakumo, but lacks any real dirt to do so. Whether this is out of personal dislike, or something more politically motivated, this one could not guess. However, this unknown person is quite influential indeed, to get such a non-event into the public's discourse. Were such an individual to obtain actual dirt, they would cover the land with it. Being willing to use such influence without either obtaining actionable material or a very creative angle, speaks to the influencer's lack of patience, lack of creativity, or both."

"There is that. It is when one tries to make their dreams a reality that the true cost becomes apparent." she agreed.

The ronin didn't seem unfriendly per se. Just simply very cautious when dealing with some wearing a sign on their face that said 'Warning: I may be lying.'

"Perhaps Lady Scorpion will bring her dreams into reality. This one hopes the cost for such is not too high."

As the pair concluded their business, passing by on the other side of the street was another ronin woman who'd been up to her own activity. Some might call it sketchy, though she looked quite pleased with whatever she had been up to, a proud smirk carried on her lips the entire way past.
